    Superman Returns

Doomsday? Darkseid (& The Intergang)? Bizarro? Livewire? Hell, I think they could pull of a Superman/Liveware type deal, even though it was already done in S:TAS.

    Transformers The Movie

Brawn totally died. I'd rather have lost him than Ironhide, dammit. As for Dama, the continuity is EXTREMELY extensive, and sometimes buggy, and would be near impossible to just throw out willy-nilly. After the movie, the baddies were basically the Galvatron-led Decepticons & The Quintessons. I'm sure there were others, but off the top of my head I can't remember. Starscream was "gone for good", but his spark managed to find it's place later, as it could go into other Bots and "take them over", and leave just as quickly, which resulted in Galvatron blasting the crap out of a few of his own after he realized it was Starscream inside them. Eventually, Starscream made a bargain with Unicron's head to try and make Cybertron his new body. Just before the head and planet were combined, Unicron gave Starscream his body back, so, now having what he wanted (his body) he refused to help Unicron. Moments later, a large explosion (caused by the Autobots) sent both Unicron's head and Starscream hurling out into deep space. Starscream's spark wasn't seen again until the Beast Wars cartoon. As for Optimus, he was reanimated in a plot by the Quintesson's to lure the Autobots into a trap, but Optimus was purified by the Matrix and ended up piloting a ship into the Quintesson's trap, causing a huge explosion that everyone thought re-killed him. In actuality, while he was pretty much screwed, he was recovered by two human scientists, one of which HATED the Autobots. Using Prime, the scientist lured the Autobots to the ship and infected them with the Hate Plague. Sky Lynx, a transformer I still own to this day, found a Quintesson and had Prime restored fully back to life. Prime then used one of the scientist's "heat-resistent alloy" (which caused him to turn white --- i have that version of Optimus too) to cover himself and be able to avoid being infected with the Plague, he got to Rodimus - reclaimed the Matrix - and opened it, with the pureness of the Matrix destroying the Hate Plague and saving all the Bots. It was also discovered, after this (i think), in episode 87 "War Dawn", that the Aerialbots (after being sent back in time by a Decepticon machine), had actually met Optimus *before* he was Optimus, and was just a punier bot known as "Orion Pax". There were no Autobots at this time in Cybertronian history, but the Decepticons had recently emerged as the evil, with Orion looking up to them. But, they tricked Orion and fatally injured him, as well as his 'girlfriend' Ariel. Dion, Orion's friend, and the Aerialbots took both to Alpha Trion, an ancient, who rebuilt them as Optimus Prime and Elita One, the original two Autobot Warriors. It was also strongly suggested that Dion later became Ultra Magnus, due to their similiar pre-Autobot construction and how they speak to each other when Optimus is on his deathbed in the Movie (calling him "old friend). You gotta love wikipedia, helping me fill in the blanks on when the Hate Plague story was, as "War Dawn" is in my top five of favorite episodes and i've seen it like dozens of times. The Aerialbots (and the Stunticons) are some of my favorite gestalts, as well.

    Transformers The Movie

Hot Rod was a sports car...so Rodimus Prime was a combo between that and Prime's "tractor" type look. The Movie was actually started before the TV show, by about a year I think, but they were able to do two seasons of the show before the movie came out in 1986. Everything after the movie (Seasons 3 onward) had to contend with the aftermath of the film. I think, because of those seasons being in the future (2006) and the idea that most of the film was in space, that they would move away from the Earth more and more. Also, I don't think the Technobots, that Grimlock created when "smart", had to go anywhere to be activated. Same with any of the other gestalts like the Stunticons, the Constructicons, and etc. The Aerialbots were just the odd bots out. I consider the first two seasons to be the best, mainly because the Movie created a ton of continuity errors, the biggest being "The Matrix" and how something as powerfully destructive as Unicron was NEVER mentioned. This is especially troubling when the Movie was being made before the TV series, when they could have easily got that information and used it to build to the film. Maybe they thought that stuff was moot with the film taking place 20 years after the end of the second season. (Although the Aerialbots and Stunticons, who were created in the show's 2nd season) aren't in the movie at all, but are a part of the rest of the TV series, with the Aerialbots playing the key role of going back in time and helping Optimus Prime actually be CREATED. But that stuff isn't even mentioned until after Optimus is resurrected.

My first ever House Show report!

I've seen Taker's entrance twice... but I only remember the second one....and the first one was when he was part of the Corporate Ministry, which was a damn good one. Maybe because the first one was at a house show and the second was Summerslam. That's probably the reason.

That's the kind of thing Sandman should appear for and can the everloving bejesus out of. Also, I hope Test gets Brooke pregnant and then Brooke turns on Hogan and joins with Test with ECW, becoming a "vixen" before getting set on fire by Francine.

They wouldn't hype him on SD as coming back on the 7th only to have him show up 4 days early on the OTHER show.

This has the makings of a PPV. Foley & Barbara Eden as the main event with JHawk & Stacy as the undercard. Foley's wife, JHawk's fiance, and Melina give HLA to each other for the dark match main event.

    Transformers The Movie

I'm not sure about the movie, but from the series: The Autobots needed bigger, stronger TFs to combat the Decepticons...Wheeljack and Ratchet (two Autobot inventors/engineers/builders etc.) found dinosaur fossils inside the mountain I mentioned earlier and used them to help create 5 Dinobots. For some odd reason, they made these TFs to be about as dumb as the real Dinosaurs are always believed to be. They only made three of them originally (Grimlock, Sludge, and Slag). Swoop and Snarl came later. They made the first three dumb to begin with, and they ransacked the Ark and almost destroyed Teletraan I. They were subdued by Wheeljack and put back in the cave, but were later released and given slight mental upgrades and put into battle when many of the Autobots were in trouble. Having saved the lives of many of the Autobots, Optimus forgave Wheeljack for disobeying his orders of keeping the Dinobots offline, and gave the first three Dinobots a permanent place on the Autobot team. And that's basically the gist of one of my favorite TF episodes ever... Episode 8: S.O.S. Dinobots.

what he's saying is that he can count the number of wrestlers Stacy has ever liked on one hand. Now, the number she's slept with, that's a different story

It's kinda sad that the only two possibilities I can see are Kane or Carlito, because the face side of Raw is abysmal in the uppercard and I can't see Cena running around with HBK or HHH, because mixing those two storylines is bad news. If it's Kane, he best be wearing the mask. If it's Carlito, well, he better prove himself worthy (as a face) of being in a Main event.

I was in agreement. The following aren't really politcal, but are some opinions: I think once any film makes 10 million in a box office, 10% of the eventual total (just for the box office) should be donated to help fund art/music/theater education in the country. Same goes for CD sales. I think that the news stations around today should go back to being about news, instead of worthless hype, banter, and the advertising/marketing mindset. There is too much fluff reported each and every day on nearly every station, when that time could be used more appropriately. I think there should be more early-evening educational programming on Network TV, and it should be marketed and advertised more than any sitcom or drama. My opinion is that the vast majority is incredily narrowminded on a wide variety of subjects and issues, so to put them out there to create a better understanding would, to me, seem to create a more socially aware culture. And finally, I dislike pretty much all pundit-type shows, regardless of slant or spin or whatever else. If they want shows like that, work harder to be bi-partisan and bring the public into the debate, because in the end with politics, it should be just as much about the people as it is the issues.

Also, regardless of warning signs on the 9/11 side, we knew about and could have prepared for the Hurricane days in advance. People could have been evacuated early as more a precaution than an almost last second escape. The public treated New Orleans as less meaningful and less impactful because of the media circus around it and the idea that "this could have been prevented", but when 9/11 happened, it was total shock to the American public and in the media coverage afterwards it wasn't even known as first what the true story was.
