He means "Lovers OF Crabs"

I'll definitely throw my hat in the ring as far as the booking and creative side of CC is concerned. Marking, well, since me and Judge seemed show similar ideas for n00bs coming into the fed, I wouldn't mind taking up and being as Frost was in the JL, maybe not turning horrible writers into writers on the level of a Stephens or a Maddix, but at least giving the kind of advice that I was glad to have from guys like Frost when I first started in the SJL almost 4 years ago. I wouldn't allow myself to be what qualifies as a full-time marker...not just because of the fact that I'm active in the fed, but also because I would probably do horribly at it. The Lethal Lottery will be brought up this Sunday, for sure.

What ran against III? I could have sworn I read somewhere that a few minutes after the ending to Savage/Steamboat (the suplex-to-small-package), the EXACT SAME finish was done at an NWA show...
-
And I'm supposed to be the one known for character depth (as crappy as it might be sometimes). I'm either hitting on one cylinder or the other... so maybe I'll figure myself out soon enough.

I'd rather make it difficult than make it easy. Losing matches thread up in the morning, unless someone beats me to it.

Didn't Wrestlemania III run against the first ever Clash Of The Champions? I wouldn't mind having a "Clash Of The Champions" collection...maybe not every single match, but like a "best of" (i know you said box sets, but they did TONS of those damn things). I wouldn't mind having every single Starrcade, even if some of them kinda stunk...

Joe Rogan vs. Carlos Mencia
The Amazing Rando replied to AmericanDragon's topic in Television & Film
Carlos Mencia's act was somewhat funny when my dad did it almost word for word at the dinner table 20 years ago, but I can't say it's still that funny now. Your dad's Paul Mooney? -
I wanted to keep myself quiet on this, but it is not impossible to use both. 1) The shows/promos/etc -- For one, I would EASILY give Alan Clark a myspace page...that could be fun as shit. But for shows and such, we can use the blog feature to LINK BACK to TSM for the shows (and bulletin links to the shows and promos too). All it would take is one person (Tom, Toxx, *whoever*) to check the board once a day and say "okay, we have two promos that were wrote on the boards today) and make a bulletin that say "Promos for 2/15" and then put two links with the title of the promo and the author). You can re-do the Joining FAQ for Myspace, that's fine. It won't kill people to have to sign up here as well. Hell, I probably have 30 usernames and passwords around for various things (banks, bills, forums, myfreepaysite, myspace, etc) and adding one more won't kill me. People don't have to sign up to read the shows/promos, and that's as much a good start as anything, to get people reading. All you have to do is make a point to say that joining the fed means joining the forums. But, you can also say that if people want to write and NOT join, then they can send their stats/promos/matches to the main SWF myspace site, and the person or persons in charge of it can move the stuff to the board, making sure to give credit to the author when posting promos. On that note, if people do decide they want to send promos/matches through Myspace, then the access to the main mailbox for that account will have to be restricted to just the various markers/bookers. I mean, I'm trusting, but I'm playing fair. Myspace's forums also to be fairly strict as far as advertising, "threadwasting", and "excessive" cursing. We might not see the SWF as a "waste of space", as far as the shows and stuff go, but the higher ups over there might.

Hey, maybe somebody on the board wanted to know what commercials got aired, and what the name of the Raw theme song was.
-
Tom should have posted a bit of a battle cry, and then waited until right around G8 to make any sort of definitive "closing" announcement.

I don't see your name in either the Euro or TV title histories. Not that I am knocking you or anything, I just had looked them through earlier because I was sure you and IL had, at least, won the World.

So, the Theory Of The Pre-Pay-Per-View Advantage says that Batista/Taker will win at No Way Out (A Smackdown PPV after all) after HBK/Cena show up on Smackdown this week and do their own "heel beatdown" on the duo.
-
Spike, you had to be in the SJL before June of 03 because that is when both myself and Todd Royal joined, and you were a veteran back then. Also, you and IL both won the SJL World Title (unless you aren't counting those as accomplishments in the "SWF")

Real Name: Jim Murphy Characters Portrayed: Alan Clark (and his incarnations), Devon Walters (now let's never speak of him again) In SWF Since: June 29th, 2003 Real-Life Height: 5'10" or so. Real-Life Weight: 135 lbs. (don't laugh) Real-Life Age: 24 Real-Life Location: Western Maryland, USA Education: College Graduate, Mass Communications/Writing Accomplishments Outside of SWF: Uhmmm....i bought a house. Favorite Band: The Philosopher Kings Favorite Song: "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd (I had no idea Z also chose this song, as I was hunting out info on when some of my favorite WF moments happened) Favorite Movie: Fight Club Virgin? Explain.: Hell no. Accomplishments Within SWF: Seven-time champion, two successful title defenses. Mall Brawl IV winner. Put Thugg through a car. Went the farthest out of the JL contingent of the Genesis IV tourney (thanks to tons of no-shows). Favorite SWF Moment: Of my own design, the backstage betting of the Iron Man at From The Fire 2004. Of someone else's, Wildchild pinning Ejiro Fasaki at A2A 03 in the 10 Man Tag. Second Place is Tom's "retirement" at Genesis V. Honorable mention goes to the entire TBS vs. Erek Taylor cage match at the 03 Xmas PPV. (the last two especially hit me emotionally, and I wouldn't exactly say I know much of anything about the careers of either TBS or Taylor. It was just that good.) Favorite SWF Writer (All-Time): Tie. Tom Flesher and Ejiro Fasaki. Favorite SWF Writer (Current): Landon Maddix. Why You Joined The SWF: I have no freaking idea, but I'm sure it seemed like a good idea at the time.

SWF Storm Card for February 14, 2007!
The Amazing Rando replied to Ace309's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
We should have done this show from the Kingdome. The Kingdome doesn't fall in the Pacific Ring Of Fire, which is where all the shows in the From The Fire Tour are (apparently) hailing from. Let's go, Tokyo Disneyland! -

SWF Storm Card for February 14, 2007!
The Amazing Rando replied to Ace309's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
In the build-up to SJL Season's Grievings 2003, European Champion Alan Clark faced off against World Champion Todd Royal, with the winner getting a shot at the other's title at the PPV. Alan won, with Landon injuring Alan's knee in a pearl harboring after the match was over and setting up the story going into the match of whether or not Alan would actually be able to compete. The match took place on the 12/11/03 Crimson. This incident, as well as Alan taking the Euro title from Landon, was pretty much the foundation for that fantastical eight month feud that nobody ever wants to re-live again. -
no, see that's actual news. something to keep an eye out for. if it were, say, 'let's all gawk at Eugene's new T-shirt, then yeah, you'd be a shill. Im aware that people know WWE .com exists exists and discuss. Thats not what bothers me. Do you not understand that none of those Sabu shirts actually exist? (yet) Also, this isn't a news thread. It's for COMMENTS (not exactly news) that doesn't warrant a thread of it's own. Showing off the choices for a new shirt isn't being a shill, it's just saying "hey, look at what WWE might sell". Way to live up to your name. Are you going to rush over to the DVD thread and attack everybody there for shilling the new DVDs? No. You know why, they aren't SHILLING A DAMN THING.
