Well "Little Mermaid" had been on Disney's minds for YEARS... like, late 40s early 50s. They were going to include it as part of a Hans Christian Andersen compilation, but in 1952 Danny Kaye released the film "Hans Christian Andersen" and so it was shelved. In 1986, it was talked about again, but shot down because they had just released Splash. The man behind the pushing, Ron Clements, finally got his way later that year and the film was released three years later. Edit: A quick glance through IMDB pushes some early idea sketches for the film back to the 30s.

Michael Hayes named Head Writer of Smackdown
The Amazing Rando replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Do you think maybe they booed it because they thought he was, you know, ATTACKING CHRIS BENOIT. You can't put over motive in commentary when the crowd at the show can't hear it. The fans did not know that he was going for the lone-wolf deal. The fans saw it as "He just FU'd Chris Benoit, BOOOO!" If they didn't react at all...well, that's a whole 'nother story. But when one babyface attacks another babyface, it usually means that the attacker is turning heel unless it is already WELL established that the character is a tweener and will basically do what he wants. Cena wasn't being booked like that at the time, I do not believe. Face Austin had DTA, Face Cena is more DOA. Technically, by way of the booing, the angle DID GET OVER...sadly, it was not the angle Hayes was pushing for. -
Maybe they can just run FOREVER, even when the people involved are actually in other feuds... like when Austin and McMahon were feuding but it was Austin/Mankind/Corporate Dude, Austin/Taker, Austin/Kane, Austin/Rock, Austin/Show...

I think he was just dizzy........... I mean, yeah, I'm sure a foot-long gash is extremely painful, but part of me thinks he might have amplified the pain just a little. He wasn't 100% selling...but maybe 10 or 20% percent. -

Maybe he isn't sure when he was born. He's embracing the confusion of his birth certificate.
