According to Cam, the whole thing started when Dame made him vice-president of the Roc. The two have apparently been taking subtle jabs at each other for years. An entire song from Cam's S.D.E. is directed towards Jay.

There's a second diss track (I'm Not a Writer) that's about the same running time. This one makes Jay look bad, since it's just Cam playing clips of all the lines Jay's stolen from other artists and used as his own. "No wonder he retired; there ain't nobody else to steal from!"

I've listened to it probably six or seven times last night and it'd work a lot better if it were tighter. At nearly eight minutes, there's just too much improv going on. The basic message of the track is that Jay's old, ugly, a thief, and possibly a hitman. I still like it, though, but I eagerly await Jay's response.

Trust me, few shows are more enjoyable for a nine-year-old than Silk Stalkings.

Hey, remember when Silk Stalkings was on after RAW? Those opening montages were hawt. Made up for any lackluster RAW, which in those days, were few and far between.

I know even less about cooking wines, but my girlfriend leaves bottles of them here sometimes. She typically uses them for pasta sauces and the like. Right now, I'm looking at a bottle of Ecco Domani Merlot delle Venezie. Nothing at all fancy (I think we got it at the grocery store for cheap), but I've never had any complaints with her food. I can ask her more if you want.

I like it, too, but for those who place more emphasis on the production aspect of the genre, most of Wu-Tang's catalog isn't all that accesible. Not that I can imagine most of the Wu sounding right rapping over seven layers of beats, synths and sound effects.

Thomas is sure to land a gig somewhere, as is Piazza. Sosa, I don't know. When he was traded a year ago, so-called experts predicted a return to the Sammy of past seasons. The Nats apparently had some interest in him, but considering how he hit in Baltimore, a hitter's park, it could be an absolute disaster in RFK.

With my one group of friends I don't really see anymore, it was either myself or my one friend to get plans together, otherwise we weren't doing anything. We'd always have a great time once we were out, but for whatever reason, everyone else was too lazy to make it happen. The group of friends I see more likes to do stuff and it's broken up pretty evenly as far as initiating activities.

I've only heard Advanced Pawns, but liked it enough to wanna check out the rest. I'm still not a fan of RZA lyrical skills, though. This is probably one of the more satisfying tracks in the Wu catalog, since it doesn't skew far from their approach on the mics, but offers a lot in the production category. A lot of people find most of the Wu's basic production boring.

I don't have a gripe with bands that are white, but the ones that get the more mainstream exposure are absolute ass. How anyone who willingly purchases those albums can slam any aspect of another musical genre is mind-blowing.

The only reason Lil Wayne has any sort of following is because Mannie Fresh made the dude's career. Solid production has blinded many to the fact that Wayne's rhymes usually go something like this: "I'm out of place like Sheffield in leftfield." You can't be gangsta and mention Gary Sheffield. It's just a rule. As for these non-descriptive whitey bands, I can't believe they've got such a strong following. I know people whose favorite band is Fall Out Boy. I hadn't ever heard anything from them, but when I finally did, I didn't get it. How that can not only be enjoyable to you, but your favorite, doesn't make sense.
