I haven't watched in so long, but Loss, do you remember telling me online in '03 that you were sure that '04 was going to be a rebuilding year, but '05 was going to be great? Still sticking by that?

I think it will be. He's now in a considerably weaker division, not to mention the fans of Chicago have become much more venomous than Sox fans in recent years. With the Sox winning in '04, Cubs fans are going to be even worse than they were last season. Think about that.

So, I guess this means Glendon Rusch is now in the starting rotation? I think he did a great job in '04, but his career numbers suggest that he's not trustworthy in having a lot of faith thrown his way. I don't need a major move, but the Cubs better fix some things soon. They've made more moves in the announcers booth than they have with the actual team.

Blasphemy. I know it's not cool to like sitcoms, but I think a lot of the storylines are fresh, and I think it's very well cast. James is one of my favorite comedians, too. He relies too much on the fat and food jokes at times, but he's got more appeal than that. I used to watch Raymond over that, but after watching King of Queens more often, I can barely sit through Raymond. I, too, never have found Crank Yankers funny. Female comedians suck, too. They're so limited in what they talk about it's ridiculous. You'd swear to god if there weren't periods or sex, female comedians wouldn't exist.

I don't think ATHF tries that hard. That's one of its charms. Most of the episodes are 11 minutes of stuff that suggest the creators thought was funny and thus, threw it in the episode. Matter of fact, after watching a episode creative session on the latest DVD set, that's basically what they do. And that's a very dangerous approach to any show, but it works here. Probably because a lot of the humor is clever and you've gotta have a quick wit to really get the most out of it. The fact that it's really like nothing else you've ever seen is an appealing factor, too. Whereas you say Family Guy is like the Simpsons, you can't say ATHF is like this or that. Because there's really nothing to compare it to. I guess I just dislike how so many people write it off because it's a show about talking food. That's my girlfriend's problem. She'll say that it's stupid because who wants to watch a show about a talking meatball? Never mind that she watches shit like Fairly Oddparents. So yeah, talking meatball or fairy godparents that are also fish? Carl has to be one of the funniest cartoon characters ever, too. I think the fact that he's probably the most realistic cartoon character you'll ever see and he lives next to a giant milkshake makes it even better.

I'd be more disapointed if I were a Tigers fan. Granted they don't have money coming out the rear, but after being interested in the likes of Finley, Glaus, Beltre and others, and not even really being in the running for any of them, they look pretty stupid.

Are the M's NUTS? FIVE years for a guy who by all means looks to have had a career season in 2004? Granted, he got the job done in '02, but he was shit in '03 and if I'm not mistaken, he's had some injury issues the last couple of years. He played almost all of '04 on one leg. That's what I don't get about these mammoth signings big teams make. They're almost always involving players who have been injury risks and are getting way too many years and cash in the deal. And in the end, how often does it even pay off?

- Futurama (it's got cancelled for a reason and no, it wasn't because it got shafted by FOX) - Friends (poor man's Seinfeld, folks) - Chappelle's Show (Dave's my boy, but thanks to bandwagon fans, this show screams "15 minutes of fame") Also, personal tastes vary, but your sense of humor is obviously lacking something if you hate Seinfeld. I could understand some people not liking it, but HATING it? Go get a sense of humor. I have the embarrassment of my girl not liking Aqua Teen Hunger Force or Anchorman. She didn't hate either, but doesn't find either to be that funny.

He's definitely a great dramatic actor, but I sort of grew tired of him about five years ago. Same deal with Sandler.
