  1. It'll be a great set, no doubt about it, but until DH returns to tell us where the hell he got February, I say he's full of shit, since all three seasons have had their street dates announced months before they took place.
  2. Well then this has all been one big tease. //Kramer
  3. And where did you hear this? I don't recall seeing anything about season 4 anywhere.
  4. I've got a Sima Copymaster which has been in the package for over a year. I always needed a second VCR (I had two of the same one), but I never got it since I wasn't too heavily into dubbing tapes at the time.

    King of the Hill

The show was great for the first few seasons, but it's really overstayed its welcome. Any time I've tried to watch it in the last year or so, it's just been horrid.
  6. I know that a handful of WWF tapes were copy protected, but I believe that was from 1987 to 1988, meaning that hopefully, the ones you listed aren't. What I'm trying to say is that I can probably hook you up here, as I've got a dual-deck VCR and all of those master videos.

    No Raw Diatribe...

Dames a trendsetter or logical reviewing simply prevailing?

    DVD Releases

I'll prolly cop Jekyll/Hyde and Cheers Season 2 down the road, but I won't go out of my way to get 'em. I think that the various prices around the circuit should also be noted, as there are some pretty good deals out there this week.

SD House Show Results from 1/04/03

I guess I know what to expect when I go to the house show next Monday.

    I moved, go me!

Resse is so redneck/behind on the times it's not even funny (well, yeah it kind of is). I don't care for my city all too much but I'll take this over Resse any day.

    The OAO Raw 1/5/04 Thread

They just ran an ad for the SD house show that's coming here next Monday and guess what? The Big Show is actually defending his title. Against John Cena, no less. Of course, if it wasn't on TV, it didn't happen, but thought you guys may like to know that he is actually defending it.

    Britney Spears marries Jason Alexander

Incidents like this make me larf everytime someone goes on and on about marriage being a sacred tradition.

    Heatless Wonders

You obviously never seen Mark Henry and Matt Morgan. And you've obviously never seen a book on grammar. As much as I dislike Orton and his push, this thread seems like yet another way of talking negatively about Orton. Yes, he's green in every way and shouldn't be getting anywhere near the push he's getting, but how many times can you beat that into the ground? Let the guy crash and burn due to not being ready for this sort of push and that'll be that.

    WWE weekend show previews...

This Evolution piece bothers me quite a bit. I know they wanna be the Horsemen, but c'mon, can't they do anything innovative?

    The classic threads folder

That's how it's always been. Quanity must equal quality. Personally, I think half of the threads in the folder could be done away with. Perhaps Dames should define what makes a thread "classic." I've seen a lot of good threads get passed over for the ones in there. But then again, a lot of those threads don't span 1,384 pages, so they must suck, right?

    Any interest in these?

What about IYH: Final Four and the Ultimate Warrior tapes?

    Three Stooges Marathon on AMC

Malice in the Palace was one of the first Stooge shorts I've got a vivid memory of. It was on the first Stooges commerical video that I purchased and I thought it was hilarious. I agree that the humor either is for you or it's not. Hit or miss, really. I find that watching a lot of them in a short time span, you'll be saying "miss" more often than "hit."

    Off Year at Box Office

Maybe it's because not everyone is dying to see sequels (unnecessary ones, at that) like Hollywood thinks we are. The Matrix, LOTR, and X-Men sequels were pretty much a given and essential, but just about all of the other sequels were just to cash in on the name of particular franchise. Hollywood is out of ideas, it would seem, but I think it's more of a case of them not wanting to try anything new, and it shows. Look at that list. How many original titles do you see there? Only a couple aren't sequels of some sort. It's all about sub-par sequels and remakes now. But I'm sure the economy or something equally ridiculous will be blamed here, instead of accepting the obvious truth of their failures.

    Silver Bullet 2 & Pet Sematary 3

This is one of the reasons the horror genre gets no respect. No matter how terrible it was (even by the shitty horror movie standards), you're almost ensured that you'll get a sequel or two.

    Hillbilly Jim returning to WWE

Really reaching for news to create threads for, aren't we?

Queer Eye for the Fandom Guy [amusing little fic]

Yep, all gay men are like this. Yeah, I was about to mention that. I think a regular ol' gay man who met Yuna might want to grind her head into paste. Or anyone (male or female) for that matter.

    Recent purchases

Road Trip isn't as putrid as some people build it up to be. Not a new classic teen movie or anything (at least not by my count), but certainly not that terrible. And I'd be interested in Suburban Commando for that price, but I haven't seen it since I heard about it being in the bin back in September. As for recent purchases, over the past week, I've copped and recieved: - Stir Crazy - Lon Chaney Collection - Looney Tunes Golden Collection - Kevin James: Sweat the Small Stuff - Lewis Black Unleashed - Superman the Movie - Narc - Rushmore Criterion Collection Also got some cheapie DVDs (silent Hunchback of Notre Dame) from a friend, and my bro got a few new titles, as well, so there's an abundance of stuff around here to watch. Rushmore was the only disc of the bunch that I bought myself, but that was only $18, thanks to a price drop/error at Wal-Mart.com that basically cut the price in half. And Grenouille, you may wanna try DVDProfiler.com, as I hear it's got a bigger database (and more info for each disc) than some of the alternatives.

Judge Allows Source To Distribute Parts Of Racist

Why would I be banned? I've done nothing wrong. Except act like a racist cunt. You fuckin' ignorant, slash-loving, hermit bitch. Not liking the culture or whatever is your choice, but don't play it down like that's all it is. Mainstream rap is quite hollow but how about scratching beneath the surface on this one? Oh that's right, I forgot. You're all about whatever's "in" on the mainstream, hence your fucking fixation with Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and X2. Maybe if you had bothered to look beneath the surface, you'd see that rap isn't all about "smacking bitches" up and "offing niggas." Perhaps you'd see that not all rap is one-dimensional and that a great deal of it has a lot of meaning and is quite deep. But I guess you just decided to write it off as nothing more than dumb n*gger shit or something, I don't know, because I guess if the radio's playing it, that's all the rap there is in the world. Maybe if you got your fat ass out of your computer chair and went outside and looked around you'd find some of these (as you seem to think fictional) "nice black people." Idiot. Take a break from making the shitty icons and leave your damn cave and maybe you'd see that they do indeed exist. All races have their fair share of idiots, whites being no exception. So quit acting like blacks are the only race to ever have given this world morons, all races are guilty of that charge. No, there's no sort of rule that states that. What you should do is give every individual a chance and not just write them off as some low-class, baby-making, glock-popping nigger like you obviously have. But whatever. It's obvious you're hiding your animosity towards the black culture behind the "opinion" curtain, so it's all good. Just go back to watching your X2 DVD or finding more fan fiction on Queer Eye or whatever it is you do while you're hiding from the mean and dangerous niggers that apparently inhabit your neck of the woods. Perhaps a nice Rebel Flag icon should be on your to do list, eh? Cunt.

    Three Stooges Marathon on AMC

I caught the one short where they were being made into gentlemen. It was funny at first, but it got old quickly. I used to love the Stooges. I had about 15 commercial master tapes and five 6-hour tapes from AMC of the Stooges, but sold them off in one big lot on eBay last year.

Can I Legally Sell Homemade Videos?

You can't do that, either. Even if it's just a "free" blank tape that just happens to have wrestling on it, it's illegal. Same goes if you're offering a pencil and a wrestling tape just so happens to be included if you win. Trying and work around the system isn't worth the effort, unless you don't mind being kicked off of eBay.
