Can I Legally Sell Homemade Videos?

Anything that was dubbed or created by you cannot be sold legally on eBay or anywhere else, for that matter. A lot of sellers on eBay do this and are lucky because they get away with it, but others get caught, have their auctions closed, or eventually get suspended. I get tired of seeing all of these bootlegs clogging up eBay, anyway, do us a favor and don't do it.

TV shows you like well enough to own on DVD

Batman: TAS (the first 2 discs) Cheers Season 1 Clerks: TAS Dawson's Creek Season 1 & 2 Family Guy Volume 1 & 2 Futurama Season 1 King of Queens Season 1 Looney Tunes Golden Collection Malcolm in the Middle Season 1 Married with Children Season 1 Mary Tyler Moore Show Season 1 Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends Season 1 Sanford and Son Season 1, 2, 3 Saved By the Bell Season 1 & 2 Simpsons 1, 2, 3 Twilight Zone Box Set 3 Of those, the only one I regret getting is the Futurama set, since I've watched all of two episodes, and really still don't care for the show, even though I thought I would when I got the set. As for ones I want, most of them aren't yet out: Seinfeld The Critic Freaks and Geeks Boy Meets World Twilight Zone (other box sets)

    Three Stooges Marathon on AMC

They're funny, but watching a few episodes in a row is no simple task. The act wears thin after a while.

Queer Eye for the Fandom Guy [amusing little fic]

She's a very good friend of mine. She was going to register on here, but she couldn't, so I let her use my name to post her rant. *sends in a very good friend to fight his battle*

    Twilight Zone Marathon

I'm the say way. I guess that's because a great deal of the episodes are only really worth watching (or interesting to watch, rather) one time, because the "quality" is all in the ending. Once you know what's going to happen, you begin to look at the rest of the episode and how it stands up on its own merits. Unfortunately, TZ had a tendency to slip up on many episodes, but offer up interestin surprise endings. Still a great show and I plan on adding the other TZ box sets to my DVD collection this coming year, as I've enjoyed the third box set I got back in May. And as much as I loved the Stooges back in the day, it's hard to watch too many shorts together, since they get tired after a while.

If Maddux comes back to the Cubs, something tells me he will be headed for retirement sooner rather than later. So the Cubs get Maddux immediately before and immediately after he is one of the greatest pitchers of all time. And they wonder why they can't win a World Series. What he said. I love the Cubs, but to trade him away for garbage right before he breaks out, and then try and regain him after his best years are gone, is ridiculous.

Queer Eye for the Fandom Guy [amusing little fic]

It's not just this one incident. It's the fact that when you see Yuna's name, you can pretty much count on it pertaining to either Queer Eye or X2. Yeah she can post about what she likes, but christ, just because you are interested in every facet of some flavor of the week item, doesn't mean that everyone else wants to read about it. Everyone's personal opinions are just that, opinions, and people have the right to like what they like. But Yuna's obsessions about these few things border on creepy, especially when you consider that a couple years from now, she'll barely remember liking them. Like I said, flavor of the week. And before I end up typing up a quasi-manifesto a la Ashley (whoever the fuck that is), I'll close by saying that the "if you don't like it, don't read it" card is bullshit. This is a public forum and by posting something on said forum, you're opening the door for discussion and opinions, some of which may (shockingly) not be similar to yours. Post what you'd like, but don't get your panties in a bunch when not everyone welcomes it with open arms.

I don't think we have a "Pile of Shit" forum, Damaramu. I swear 90% of Yuna's posts involve either X2 or Queer Eye.

    Freaks and Geeks

In a way, yes, but in another way, no, since they ran two or three episodes one Saturday night in June or early July of 2000, which were the "true" last episodes.

    Wilson from Home Improvement

Wow, Wilson bears a striking resemblence to Roger Ebert.

    Final Fantasy Tactics

When my cousin went back to Japan, he left behind his PS and all of the games he had for it, since he had a PS2 over there. He's was real into the fighting games and RPGs, so of course, he had all of the FF games, including Tactics. Not having any interest in them, myself, I sold them on eBay.

Do you mean it was shot in a blue "shade"? I hate it when whole movies are shown in a certain shade. Yes, that's what I was referring to. I can understand not liking it, but personally, I thought it set the tone the movie was trying to create. I'm always reminded of 187 and how the atmospheres of NY and Cali were distinguished with the shading of the scenary.

    Randy Orton

Care to clarify when Brock wasn't getting his god push? Because as I recall, he was looking pretty god-like from the get-go, basically destroying everyone he came across, including big guys like Rikishi. The guy didn't look vulnerable in the least until he was turned face. As for the Orton arguments, they're tired. He's not horrible or good, he's simply average. Were he to be given a nice spot in the midcard where not so much attention was thrust upon him, he'd have a chance to develop. As it is, WWE is just setting him up to be a huge failure at the rate they're going. And Besus, how old are you, exactly? Your posts make you sound like you couldn't possibly be more than 13-years-old or in classes where you didn't write with safety pencils on circles of paper.

Predictable and a bit on the unrealistic side. I like the dark/blue atmosphere present throughout the movie, though.

    WWE DVDS

No luck on the Walgreens deal a while back and same here, as well. Quite the load of crap, as I was hoping on catching up on the WWE titles not worth paying full price for.

    There, nice and homemade.

    2 new dvd's in

I've always wondered how a DVD you made can be "rare." Do you do anything around the 'net other than try and pawn off your homemade DVDs?

    Give me some advice...

I'm on the fence about 24. While I was hooked on the show when I borred the set from a friend, I'm not sure how much replay value it has. I could probably watch it again, but since all the shows are connected, it'd be hard to just sit down and watch one episode.

    The Official MLB Offseason Topic

I'm quite sure I'll be biting the bullet and plunking down the heavy costs for the MLB season package, for the same reason that genius is considering doing it for--WGN doesn't broadcast nearly as many games as they used to. Plus, it is worth it, as you get basically all of the games around MLB everyday, which can be quite nice around August, when the pennant chases get really intense.

Despite bobbling one of the easiest grounders of all-time, Gonzalez is an excellent SS. If they're keeping him, I'd just use Walker off the bench, cause lord knows that the Cubs' bench lacked serious depth last season.

    The Official MLB Offseason Topic

With the Cubs' luck, Walker's season last year was a fluke. What position does he play, 2nd or SS? With Grudzielanek resigned, and now Walker, looks like there's little room for the aformentioned infielders. Did I miss something or do they still have Alex Gonzalez?

    Fun With Ebay!

Someone on the board should bid and win 'em, then scan them and post them in the LSD folder. BTW, I found it funny that it's in the Autographs category. Maybe she signed them?

Hilary Duff Feuding Over a Boy

Then you must live in a town with all of 17 people, since I think of several white girls offhand who I went to high school with that look better than here, and I think it's safe to say that the majority of the girls at my school weren't far off from the canine persuasion.

    Why was my name changed?

Oh, and dude, if you're gonna keep registering here, at least be original. There's already a guy who went by here a while back with a Dennis Leary inspired name.

Hilary Duff Feuding Over a Boy

Any typical girl you see at the mall > Duff, Olsen Twins, Bynes and just about any other completely unspectacular famous female teen Honestly, some of them aren't bad looking at all, but I don't get the complete fascination that so many people have with said stars. Are there no malls, movie theatres or clubs in your area where you seem to think that girls like this aren't a dime-a-dozen?
