I'm not one to go crying foul on these sorts of things, but why would a member of the board with three posts who just joined yesterday, already be involved in these sorts of threads, let alone talking like they've got a good idea of what's been going on lately?

I had heard about these being a possibility a while back and I must say, I'm disapointed. The only figure I'm going to buy is the Warrior because he's the only one who actually, ya know, looks like his real-life counterpart. What the fuck happened to Jakks' Real Scan they were using on all their figures? Warrior will look great loose on a shelf, but everything else sucks. The Taker figure is okay, but the color scheme is messed up. It's either purple or grey, not both. And Andre's figure is just awful. As someone said, it's just Big Show's body with an Andre head on there. And would it have killed them to make an Andre head that actually looked like him? Maybe it's just me, but I don't remember Andre's lips ever looking goth. And he never wore god damn black wristbands. Petty? Yeah, a bit, but c'mon, these should've been great. Don't even get me started on HHH, whose head is a frickin' pin compared to the rest of the body.

If you're going to insult someone because of their intelligence, at least use real words, jackass.

It's being said that the Yanks are quite close to signing Kenny Lofton to a one-year deal, which would give them an everyday centerfielder and allow them to move Bernie Williams into the DH spot. So I guess this means they're banking on Giambi actually being able to play first every day.

Um...no. Kelis isn't a novelty act, people. Although her material hasn't always been up to par, she's been around for a while and will certainly last longer than god damn Aqua.

I don't think it's a horrible song, although I don't think I could bump it on a regular or even semi-regular basis. Not enough substance for my liking and the Neptunes look really weak producing a track like that. I think calling Kelis a one-hit wonder is sort of dumb, though, since she's got talent and is now just starting to break out on her own. Her latest album is only partially produced by the Neptunes, while her previous albums were entirely produced by them. This is allowing her to create a lot of different sounds through different producers. She's recently taken up writing her own songs, and by the judgment of Milkshake, that may be a bad thing. Oh and let's not all think that this song's about milkshakes. On the surface, yeah, it seems like it, but as with most hip-hop songs about silly things, there are sexual undertones throughout.

Weren't they thinking about doing that match at Survivor Series? I'll believe it when I see it.

I've always been a fan of Matt Stairs, believe it or not. While certainly not the best hitter or fielder, he puts up consistent numbers and is at least fairly reliable with the glove, yet he's more or less lost in the shuffle the majority of the time and people rarely give him his props.

I actually agree with DH for once here. Something like that needed to be so spur of the moment that fans wouldn't be sure of what was going on until he was halfway down the entrance ramp. Using the heel entrance would've gotten them prepared well in advance.

...but he wouldn't be against her image being used on the dime...

I found her funny, personally. Not the greatest female standup, but certainly not so horrible like a lot of you are making her sound.

I actually prefer Hollister over A&F, even though I'm well aware that it's just their sister company. Clothes are about the same, but the name hasn't gotten that stigma just yet. The atmosphere is pretty stupid, but I still prefer it over Abercrombie, which just smells too rich for my liking, not to mention it's a total prep utopia.

I'd be if I could produce more than stubble.
