Help With Ric Flair DVD-Rip I Downloaded!

Better solution--just buy the damn set. Not like it costs that much. I can understand wanting to cop a so-so DVD through illegal means, but there's no excuse for any self-proclaimed fan to not just go out and buy the actual set.

    Abercrombie & Fitch Problems

Or you could just go spend a normal amount of money on a pair of jeans. I'm not saying do all of your shopping a K-Mart, but people who only buy their jeans at these designer places confuse me. I buy my shirts at nice places, but as far as the jeans go, if they fit and look good, I couldn't give a shit less what brand they are. Plus, the styles for those places suck so much ass it's not even funny. $75 for a pair of jeans that look like they were dragged through the sandbox for an hour, why? Because that's what's "in?" Please.

    "The Reagans"

That brings up the question--what else is left to bring to a character as one-dimensional as Bond? I'm obviously not as big a fan of him as you are, so I could be wrong here, but what exactly could be brought to a character that has been around for decades and is basically "perfect" in everything he attempts?

    Abercrombie & Fitch Problems

I can't believe anyone would be surprised by this. That's all I've ever seen in that store (and Hollister, too), but I just accepted that. That's the group of people their aiming at with their clothing, so it'd make sense that you'd see those types of people working there. Call me crazy, but I can't see some black girl or guy or whatever working there and not wanting to whoop their co-workers' asses five minutes into their shift. Those people working there are so annoying, I wish they'd just make like the mannequins and shut up.

    Weird fact about Ted Dibiase

No reason really for him not to go over Jake. After all, what did he have on the horizon that he needed to be protected so much for? Bad News Brown's Muppet Sewer Rat? I think cawthon summed it up nicely as to why all of the screwjobs took place. They always seemed concerned with not really jobbing Brutus, but at the same time, they always were hesistant to go with him full force (his IC title match with the HTM comes to mind).

I think most of us knew that Pudge probably wouldn't be back in Florida next year. Spare me the stories about him really loving the area and all that crap, when he had the postseason he had, I knew he'd be commanding big dollars, even if it was unreasonable. To me, the clincher was him not even entertaining the idea of saying he'd be back in Florida for 2004 when he was intereviewed right after they won the WS.

    How many of you...

Chalk me up to living at home. I think most people who wanna move out when they're 18 either have strict parents or they just wanna say they can do whatever they want. Of course, they usually end up in crappy apartments that looked like they've just got robbed (or are about to be robbed). Even when I move on to the University here in the city (go to CC right now), I'll prolly still live here since it's not too far away and not much point in living "on your own" if you don't have to, especially when your parents are lax about what you do. Personally, I think the whole notion of wanting to live on your own or more specifically, live on campus in a dorm or something because you want to "be on your own" is hilarious, because while you've got more responsibilities, in more cases than not, your parents are still footing the bills for you to live there and that. When you're buying all your clothes, meals, perks, and paying all of your bills, then you're on your own. Until then, you're just not living with your parents, and you're in trouble without them.

    What's Goin On...

Netscape is up and running again, but I'll surely keep my eyes on the alternatives for the near future.

    What's Goin On...

I've been using the web space Netscape provides with AIM for a month or so, but it seems to be down at the moment. It wouldn't be so much of a big deal if I didn't host my eBay pictures up there. So as of right now, I've got several auctions with no pictures. This is probably just a temporary thing, but does anyone know of a more reliable webspace provider that is either free or inexpensive?

What's its track record? Does it have a tendancy to crash at all?

One Trick Pony wants to know if he got banned

Well, even though Sass pretty much covered everything Game has done to a small core of people over the years (thus proving that it's not just a case of people jumping on the "hate bandwagon"), since my name was mentioned, I guess I should toss in my two cents on the matter. When I was posting at the old WDI board back in early 2002, Game just seemed like a bit of an odd guy, and nothing more. I was new to the board, so I really had no clue as to what sort of things were going on with him and other posters on the board. At the time, he was a frequent WDI chat visitor and would often make many attempts to bring up his sexual misadventures whenever he could. Most people just figured he was odd and that he was looking for attention. Then it became obvious that he had some homosexual tendancies and it's when people were trying to make him come to terms with the fact that he at least had an interest in men (after he discussed some activities with them that I don't wish to go into), I realized that he had some problems. From there, a strong hatred towards myself began to come from the Game. Perhaps there was something that actually warranted it, but to be honest, I can't recall a single incident that would've pushed him over the edge towards me like that, so I'm going to guess it was either a bunch of small things (cracks towards him) or that I got along quite well with L4W. Over time, I became pretty good net buddies with L4W, Sass, Jay, and CJ primarily and Game seemed to resent that tremendously. He made that clear when he "cloned" my AIM screen name and began harrassing me and basically damning me for being "friends" with the aforementioned quartet. Although I wasn't in the chat, later that night, he apparently showed up in a WDI chat and sent private IMs to various people with his version of my screen name, pretending to be me. To wrap things up, I just learned to ignore him for the most part over here (the only place where he wasn't banned at the time) and just tried to avoid being in any thread he was a part of. I moved on, so to speak, but to this day, I'm still quite unclear as to why exactly he disdained me so much, but he did, making me his number one target after Loss. Most of you will say it's because I'm an ass, but most of his hatred and antics against myself came before the days of "Bruiser Chong." I'll close by saying this--the 'net is full of a lot of weird folks, especially these messageboards. However, for the most part, it's not so much a negative weird, as it is a sort of odd that you learn to embrace. Obviously a lot of people say and do many things on these boards that makes me back up a bit and say, "Wow, he/she doesn't seem to be all there," but Game is the only person I've ever come across on the 'net who has legitimately freaked me out to the point where I'm reminded of all the tales of Internet weirdos that you hear so much about. The young man is a twisted individual and anyone (and honestly, I mean anyone) who's ever been foolish enough to stand up for him in any capacity, has come to regret it, as he eventually "turns" on anyone, even those few stupid enough to defend him. There's some issues (many, in fact) that he needs to work out, and at the risk of sounding paranoid, I'd advice anyone to keep their distance from him, no matter how much you may think those who bash him are just sour grapes. There's a reason why so many speak ill of him. His track record has only warranted such a reputation.

    HHH face turn

Where've you been? JR frequently questions where HHH is whenever he's not on TV. I see what you're getting at, but it's not like they haven't talked about him again and again whenever he's not on TV.

Hawkins with the Cubs, hmmm. That could work well, as he's got a strong presence on the mound and he's leaps and bounds better than just about anyone they had in their pen in 2003. Still, he pretty much buckled when it mattered the most, but I still like the acquisition. Hopefully they start clearing out some of that dead space in their pen soon.

Who has DVD releases for Dec. 9th??

When I was originally trying to post this with the HTML, I mentioned where I got it from, but I guess I took it out when I posted the final list. I usually get them from DVDTalks.com. Not always the most complete list (they always ommit wrestling titles), but the most notable releases for the most part are there. Amazon's good, but like Satanico said, you can only get 10 of them a page, which is a pain. Plus they usually throw in price drops on titles that have already been out, which makes them look like new releases, when in fact, they aren't.

Who has DVD releases for Dec. 9th??

I could post at list with hyperlinks to each title, but since Dames fears HTML, here's a nekked version of the list: All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku Dash 2 Altars of the World Assassination Tango Bad Boys (1995) & Bad Boys 2 Bad Boys 2 Battle of Shaker Heights Bay of Angels Best of the Muppet Show: Steve Martin Blackjack Blame It on the Bellboy Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Complete Fifth Season Country Dude We're Going to Rio Final Fantasy: Unlimited - Phase 2 Firefly - The Complete Series Gigli Hello Again How to Deal In the Army Now Jury Duty The Kid Lawrence Tan: The Universal Form Leapfrog: Letter Factory Leapfrog: Letter Factory & Talking Words Factory Leapfrog: Talking Words Factory Lola Looking Glass War M*A*S*H - Season Five (Collector's Edition) National Lampoon's Xmas Vacation 2 The NeverEnding Story III - Escape From Fantasia Oktober Padre Padrone Photographer Pregnant Man Raymond Briggs' The Bear/The Animal Train Recess Recess Riding in Vans With Boys: The Movie There's Something Wild About Iris Blond Unhook the Stars Walking and Talking

Because Choi racked up some solid numbers before coming up to the Big Leagues, is a well-rounded player, and young. Since the trade was announced, I've grown to see the positives for both teams, as the Cubs have added another bat to the lineup and a great first baseman, while the Marlins have added a young prospect and cut costs in the process. Choi was doing pretty well until the incident with Wood back in June, and he really hasn't been the same since. I'd have to imagine that'll pass, but it still pretty much ended his season with the Cubs and messed up his chances to come back in 2004.

    DVD Releases

There are three codes that can be used for the DDD 20% deal. From what I hear, it sounds like each code can only be used for each account once, but I could be wrong. I already used one last Thursday for an order, but may use the other two before they expire. Nothing too much grabbing me this week, although the Donald Duck set sorta jumped out.

    Thanksgiving is over!

I liked Thanksgiving this year, but I don't ever really mind it. My mom's side of the fam gets things going at around noon and we're done by four or five. They just wanna get on with their lives, I guess. The day after Thanksgiving though, my brother and I traveled down to Ohio to see some members of my dad's side of the family. They're pretty loaded, so it was pretty nice to just kick back with some good, generous people in a comfy house. Gettin' some didn't hurt, either (and no, before someone makes the obvious crack, it wasn't from another family member).

    "Homosexuality Should Be Outlawed"

I hope he's kidding but after reading that, I just had to check his personal info and wasn't the least bit surprised to see his age. I doubt he's joking. Stupid, close-minded fucks like you are perfect example of how much dumber each generation is getting. I'm only a few years older than you, but christ, grow up you dumb shit.

    "The Reagans" on Showtime

Nope, I was in the same boat you were and I was pissed, as I had been anticipating seeing it. I didn't know it was going to get onto Showtime so quickly, but they'll show it again, no doubt.

    James Bond DVD Boxsets

I like how they're releasing these things every couple of years because they know there's a big group of schmucks willing to shell out money for each new set, regardless if they're not that much better than the older ones. Goldfinger was the only Bond movie I've ever seen where I didn't wanna stop watching halfway through, too. The rest seem to be too similar and so lethargic, going on and on and on. That's just me, though.

Time to make Malibu cream his pants

Jeez, I've seen people around here uninformed about upcoming DVD releases, but this is the first time I've seen someone post about a set that was released months after it was released, and several more months after the release was announced on top of that. And Seasons 3 and 4 ain't no thang, yo. That's when the show got really crappy.
