A couple more questions about Zone Alarm: - Since installing, my computer has been quite lethargic, whether it be running programs or the 'net. Is this something that'll pass with time or what? I know it's not because of the amount of memory on my computer, since I'm not even using half of it at the moment. - Is there any way I can set the preferences so that programs I use all the time don't need to be allowed to be accessed with Zone Alarm? For example, everytime I start up my computer, I'm asked if things like IE, AIM, and Kazaa are allowed to have 'net access. This gets annoying to have to go through the list of programs that are okay each time I start up my computer. I don't see anything in the preferences where I can change this, but maybe I missed something.

God dammit. Lee has an awesome glove, but Choi was possibly "the future." This sucks. Choi will officially break out this season.

Not surprising. As much love as there is for the pair, it was only a matter of time before they started in with the political games. Everyone does it eventually if they get into a position that could become risked at any moment. We bust Trips for it just because it seems like he was always doing something in that respect, but he wasn't the first or the last to do it. Brock has always thought he was hot shit since his monster push went into effect last year and with Angle's health being so uncertain these days, it's only natural that he feel his spot is at risk. That said, I don't think they should see Rey as any sort of a threat to their own spots. I don't care how many shirts he sells or how popular he is, he's not ever going to be a main event guy.

I don't agree with all of the Henry pushes, but this has to be the best one of them all. That doesn't say a whole lot, but for the first time, they're using him as he should be used. Putting Long with him was brilliant, as Henry's no longer forced to do his own promos and he comes off looking better with Long as his mouthpiece. His in-ring work may not be the best, but to me, he's been entertaining in his role since his return. Dreamer has a lot of heart, but he seemed like all he was good for was getting his ass kicked and eating hair and drinking toilet water.

If this were anyone other than Mole, I wouldn't have to even think if they're serious or not.

Hulk Still Rules DVD and Unforgiven 2001
Bruiser Chong replied to Ravenbomb's topic in Television & Film
WWF didn't put out NWO 2001 because until Backlash 2001, they didn't put out their non-Big 5 PPVs onto DVD. And I'd grab both DVDs just because of the price. I was so anxious to get the Hogan DVD the first day it came out last year, that I was at Best Buy in the early morning and cursing the fact that I started school the next day. -
It's not so much that he's busting on Booker, but rather, Booker is the only face Lawler bashes on a regular basis. Not to mention, it's always for the same thing. If he's going to pick on Booker, mix it up a little, so he's not beating a dead horse. As it is, it makes Lawler look like a racist, and not a heel, since he's not really saying much against any other faces on the show.

Posts that took 3 seconds to think and type up are the reason. It's not that hard when you're posting whatever the hell is on your mind at any given moment. Adding nothing to a thread just for the sake of another post helps out, too, as I've seen the dreaded, "LOL" or "Agreed" type of post all too many times.

I just installed ZA. When a connection's trying to be made, what's the best option--have the alert window pop up or not? I've got it so it does, but am finding that to be a bit annoying and I'm not sure if I should click "yes" for access or whatever.

Did somebody screwup in the Goldberg/HHH match?
Bruiser Chong replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Or a Goldust-esque bodysuit. ...*shudder* Wouldn't be the first time he's worn one. -
Wow, I must be pushed down hundreds of stairs. Bruiser, you needs to chill. Besides, you'd have to throw the provider (CJ) of the knob you polish down hundreds of flights too. When in doubt, take a cheap shot at me and CJ. I must've missed something, because from what I gather, because we share similar opinions and I was one of the few people who didn't take shit about him after he got banned, we've been "paired up" by a lot of people. What'd I miss, exactly? If we're gonna play that game, then there are plenty of pairings here at TSM, if similar opinions are what we're basing this on. You act as if I defended anything CJ's done in that regard, Banky.

As most of you know, the short-lived animated series, The Critic was announced as getting the DVD treatment in the near future, and along with a release date, cover art and details on the set have been issued. Click here for the cover art. So mark you calendar, geeks, 1/27/03 will surely be a glorious day, as one of the most-requested animated series is finally delivered in DVD format.

Anyone pathetic enough to "scheme" anything on a messageboard should be pushed down the biggest flight of stairs in their local area.

Clueless ain't bad for that price, although a SE wouldn't surprise me, since the current DVD was released a long while ago and is totally barebones. If you're going to get any of these, better do it early in the week. I don't even wanna mess with a store after Thursday.
-
Edited for accuracy. BWHAHAHAHAHA!!! I agree with Banky, though, actually. Zsasz, your act would be a lot better if you weren't trying to make it so over the top. I know that's you're shooting for, but the effectiveness is still non-existent.

Are you honestly comparing the Godfather to f'n X2?
-
Didn't most people share their thoughts on the possibility of this set the first few times someone made a thread for it? And since they've already released the calendar of upcoming DVD releases to take us into the first couple months of the New Year and there's no sort of thing like this, you can forget it, at least for this year. Had it even been a possibility, they would've had it out by no, in time for the Holidays.

Footless does indeed own. I was conned into helping out with the technical stuff this past spring when the local theatre down town did it. I'll agree on drama students. At my old school, it was a group of talentless fucks who thought just because they were in a drama class and maybe a play, that they had a never ending supply of talent and they weren't afraid to let you know it. Not to mention they had to be some of the most annoying people my school had to offer, and that's certainly saying something.
-
Maybe I'll buy X2 just so I can break the damn thing. All the people who talk about it non-stop like it's the greatest thing ever to grace the silver screen killed my interest to ever see it.

Ever have someone tape over any good wrestling?
Bruiser Chong replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
My mom used to make me use old Prime Time Wrestling/Wrestling Challenge videos for the majority of the WWF PPVs I got from around 1994 to 1998. Her reasoning was that I never watched them (she had me there) and so buying new tapes was pointless. Being younger at the time, I went along with it, figuring that they were just going to sit there. They prolly still would be doing that today, but at least I could know that I have the option of watching them or not. -
Many drama club members have seen (many) dicks up close, though. You can bet the farm on that. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
-
Do we really need another topic about the Flair DVD, especially when the second one only has information already found in the original? And Rico, what's a few extra bucks when it means you can have it now and not wait for them to get their act together over at Best Buy?
-
Any movie with Kelly Preston in it can't be all bad.

Just Shoot Me got cancelled in the late spring or early summer. The final few episodes were played during the summer months and it all went away quietly. The show had clearly hit its peak a while back. I never watched the last season until recently in syndication. Truly awful stuff, especially that character they added in there.

At this point in his career, he's basically been typecast, so while that's not a good thing per say, he's still good at the role, so I have no problem doing that. I don't think he'd be too good at more serious types of thing, anyway.
