I hate HHH and I'm not fond of Goldberg, but I really don't see why you're so crazy about the match, Banky. It was neat to see HHH not only job cleanly again, but his stable go down in order against a guy that should've been built as an unstopable monster, but honestly, the match was just too plodding. The two guys don't mesh well at all, and while it was interesting to see HHH work on the leg the whole match, it was boring, straight up. I'm not really one of those guys who's gonna crap on a match if there isn't a heavy amount of psychology used, because honestly, it rarely affects the finish. Maybe I would think that it's blind hatred, but after rooting for Michaels during the RAW tag match after hating just about anything he's done since 1998, I know that's not the case when I'm looking at the main event. If the match had been that good, I would've thought so, and I really didn't. HHH just doesn't seem to be able to move well at all anymore and it really affects the match.

Yeah, I recommend checking out eBay. More times than not, you'll be surprised how little so many figures go for. It'd be cool for a collector, but sucks for someone like me, who hoarded all my (or most) of my toys from my younger years and now I see they're not worth much. That's not why I saved them, but looking to get rid of some, I found that it'd almost not be worth it to sell them.

Don't send him the DVD. He's clearly unaware of how eBay works (and the USPS, too, apparently). It may be "unethical," but the guy is clearly an idiot. Look at his feedback and it's quite easy to see he doesn't know what he's doing. When it comes to eBay, there are so many people who haven't the first clue as to what it all means and they just figure they can do whatever they want. Sad thing is, eBay's policies tend to suck, so they CAN do pretty much whatever they want. First off, hit him up with a neg. The chances of you getting the neg he gave you removed are slim to none, so you've got nothing to lose. Secondly, don't send him the DVD. Hey, it sounds wrong, but two wrongs sometimes make a right. Third, file a NPB form so you can at least get the fees refunded to you for the auction. I had a simply horrendous transaction at the beginning of the summer on eBay where this idiot from Puerto Rico left me two negs because he said I cheated him. He had won some wrestling figures which had things like tape on them and such, which I clearly mentioned and showed in pictures. Obviously the guy's English and vision weren't good because he acted surprised when he got them and quickly left me negative feedback. Fuckin' idiot.

Who do I speak to about refunds? I enjoyed the RAW 10-man tag but that was it. Everything else was too rushed or just too messy. It's almost painful to watch some of these guys out there because they're either way too green (Morgan, Jones) or just too brittle (HHH, Vince). Those trunks of HHH's are so damn ghey, but hey, whatever keeps him from pulling another hammy when he enters the ring. As for HHH having workrate better than 2/3 of the guys in the opening match, huh? Morgan and Jones are awful, but everyone else is just mediocre and up. A-Train sucks, but he's not terrible, Show played little part in the match, and Lesnar's all right. On the other end, Angle, Benoit, and Cena are all good, while Bradshaw at least garners a reaction from the crowd when he hits certain spots. And all the hate for Hardcore should stop, since he's nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be. They're just judging him on his personality. Starting the show out with the 10-man would've been fine, but everything was just so rushed that it made most of the guys look bad. -

That's funny, JR's already foreshadowing a fast and short match. -

Kane threw some of the weakest "punches" I've ever seen from a trained wrestler. On the bright side, HHH/Goldberg's gonna be about as long as a typical RAW match. But still, this show had time issues from the start. -

That's pretty cool/old school that both teams came out together, even the big names. -

What a waste of time this was. It could've gone to something like a match. But I've gotta say, I laughed when Flair whoooed after that chick pinched Orton's breasticle. -

Ok, I'll admit it. That finish owned. -

Funny stuff with Jones looking even more like a tool by getting back in the ring too soon and standing there while his partner gets pinned. This match sucks. With Angle hurt going in and it get all of 10 minutes to work with, it never had a chance. -

So they can have more time for the important matches. Yeah, you know which ones I'm talking about. Shane/Kane, Vince/Taker, and Goldberg/HHH. They alone will surely get an hour and a half. -

I've got buyer's remorse already. -
Blah, Just Shoot Me in its prime was way better and should've been picked to get the DVD treatment when they did that poll a few months back.

How could you not know it was Paul Sorvino? The man was Lips Manlis for god's sake! Anyway, I hear they're working on a SE of Boondock Saints for the near future.

Sagging isn't that big of a deal as long as it's not going to some extremes I've seen it go to in time. No need to look like Urkel, but no need to look like you're carrying around a load of poo-poo in your pants, either. A nice middleground works well.

It's nice and all that they made a documentary for him (especially one that focuses on the man himself), but I can't help but feel that a lot of what we've seen from Pac since his death is just an excuse to rake in some more cash.
-
Yeah, no kidding. My brother wants to check it out just because we've always been fans of the SS style matches, but it really seems that they're going to extreme lengths to make sure this show sucks.
-
I haven't seen it and honestly, don't really have an interest in checking it out. I know he did so much for the industry and all that, but I wish they'd just let him die for real already. It's becoming quite clear that Pac's going to accomplish more dead than I ever will alive.

On the surface, those two seem like an odd couple, but women do start going for the personality and humor thing a lot more as time passes. Doesn't mean they stop liking good looking guys, it's just that they become a little more open-minded about it all. And at the risk of sounding like a homofag, Kevin James isn't a bad looking guy, he's just got the weight thing going on, and he's actually lost weight recently. As for the actual show, it's one of the few comedies I could actually get into watching on a regular basis these days. Ever since Seinfeld went off, there hasn't been a show that's commanded my weekly viewing (aside from the Simpsons), but King of Queens is pretty damn close to being the first one. I'm still lousy at remembering it's on, but I always enjoy it when I do remember. The writing is genius at times, and let's face it, James makes the show. He's got that ability to take lines that would be mediocre or unfunny elsewhere, and make them hilarious just because of how he says them and the emotions he uses while doing them. Can't wait to get a hold of Season One.

I'm all over the Flair set, King of Queens, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

So uh, what would that make a black guy who dresses up in Docker pants, tucked in polo shirts, and talks properly? I agree that some white people take the "genre" too far in how they act or dress, but I don't see a problem dabbling in it or even wearing the stuff on a regular basis and talking with a somewhat urban-influenced vocabulary, as long as they remember that they are in fact white. When they start busting out with the "My people been opressed..." speech, then they've gone too far. I hate these stereotypes that come with a certain style of clothing, because if you wear something, you're automatically put into a category. For me, I like to mix it up. I may look somewhat preppy one day, scrubbing it the next, and then looking a little "G'ed up" the next. To some, that's a problem, because by doing so, I'm taking on muliple labels. Bottom line, you should be able to wear what you like without having some moron label you as a wigger or a prep or a punk. Personally, I think those who limit themselves to one and only one style of clothing are somewhat one dimensional, because I find it hard to believe that anyone could only really like the way one definite style looks and hate the rest.

I love Summerslam '93, which is panned by many. I've always been a fan of the classic Survivor Series style, so anything from 1987 to 1991, and then 1993, is adored by me, despite '87 being the only installment that is critically acclaimed. '93 was a show that I watched again and again after I got it on PPV and that's why I can't ever hate it. I even find enjoyment in the much-hated match with the Doinks and Bam Bam's team. Heenan's commentary is hilarious, and most people don't even acknowledge it because they're too busy trying to fit in and shit on the actual match.

What is the funniest TV show ever?
Bruiser Chong replied to spiny norman's topic in Television & Film
I actually agree on the Three's Company thing. I've only seen a couple episodes, but all of them were focused on one of the characters misunderstanding something and the episode going from there. Not even funny misunderstandings. And call me crazy, but I'm actually more a fan of the Lucy Show than I am I Love Lucy. The latter got a little too repetitive and you can't call me out on not liking it just because it's old and I'm young, because I grew up on Nick-at-Nite and for a long while, many of the shows they aired on there were among my favorite programs to watch. As for the sketch comedy getting little love, I think it's because what we get here in the States is just so inconsistent that people are thinking it's more luck than anything when it's actually funny. I don't care for Monty Python at all, but that's just me. -
No Mercy by a mile, as well. I got this game for Christmas back in 2000 and after playing it at a friend's house the week it came out, WM 2000 always seemed inferior. I loved WM 2000 when I first got it, but honestly, after play No Mercy, things were never the same. The CAW, graphics, career mode and options all lacked in comparison. The full ring entrance is the one big advantage that WM has and on the grand scale of things, it's not that big of a deal. I don't know about everyone else, but after a while, I always skipped the entrances anyway. NM is also a game I can get hooked on every couple of months for no real reason. It's the only reason I still have my N64, as I never play anything other than that. Matter of fact, I'm hooked on it right now, after creating a couple more wrestlers from WWE that weren't on the game before, and completing some more of the championship modes. The career mode on NM is better, IMO, as it's more of a puzzle and you've gotta use your head to get to 100%, which also means tons of alternatives and options when going through each one. With WM 2000, it was just win all your matches and that's it. Boring. One other thing I don't like about WM is that almost the entire roster is outdated, and that annoys me. The same goes for NM, but it's worse with WM. Call me crazy, but despite the games being more or less the same on the surface, NM is has way more depth than WM ever could dream of.

Those old school WWF shirts are great, but the new WWE logo on them sorta takes the old school look of them away. Searching eBay long enough, you can find a REAL 80's JYD shirt, complete in a nice pansy blue color. Those shirts own, but they usually go for way too much. Spring seems to be my birthday present every year (3/21).
