Well, after he fucking destroyed Gowen, he was getting some heel heat, but I think he needs to learn to cut a decent heel promo or get someone to talk for him before people are going to treat him as a heel. Vince ain't the answer, since Heyman really wasn't. As for Cena's rap, I prefered the line where he stuck up his three middle fingers and said: "Read between the lines, I'm givin' you the middle finger-Detroit's got more white trash than Jerry Springer." And fear not, there was some Gowen hatin' in his rap, as well, where he basically told Zach to get used to walking on wooden pegs (this was right after Brock had destroyed Gowen, F'5ing his leg into the post several times, among other things.

Well, nevermind this post. Just turns out there's a new email virus going around, that's spamming up everyone's inbox. I thought it was this thing until I read about the virus. -
I just got back from the show and overall, it wasn't bad. I'm pretty out of it, so everything here is just off the top of my head. The crowd was only really into a few people (like Taker, of course), but aside from that, they got pretty apathetic about everything else. Seeing Shelton job to Bradshaw was just too annoying, especially since everyone in my section thought it was GREAT. The idiots behind me would go on to prove throughout the night just why most people think wrestling fans are idiots. Angle was getting plenty of "You suck" chants during his entrance, while Brock got some solid face pops. The "what?" chants during Angle's promo were a pain to listen to, since it meant fans weren't really listening to Angle's pretty emotional promo. The finish to the Rey/Matt match was sick, as the rana from Rey just planted Matt right on his head, providing quite the disturbing image. I was distracted most of the match by the guys behind me who insisted that Matt had been nothing since Jeff split (btw, they were talking about Jeff doing a run-in, and were apparently unaware that Jeff wasn't even in WWE anymore), and that Matt was just a "faggot." When they got up later, I noticed the one who had said this was sporting a purple mohawk. Torrie and Nidia got the most reaction from that pitiful tag match, which shows just how over the wrestlers are. It was obvious that Gowen's mom was there to try and get more emotion out of the beating Zach was sure to experience. I'll say this, the blade job Zach did was just wicked and when he was getting rolled out of there on the stretcher, the crimson mask and missing leg made him look like he had just been through a bombing. At least this is all helping Brock become that monster heel again. Cena's rap on Detroit was hilarious, especially when he referred to it as a big crackhouse and that it had more white trash than the Jerry Springer show. I'd like to add that Cena's new shirts is one of the few WWE shirts I would wear out in public. Taker of course got mad pops, but whatever, that match was my bathroom/snack break and I missed the whole thing. Eddy's lowrider got over well, but Rhyno's the last guy I'd expect to see in one of them. This was probably the best match of the night and even though there were some impressive spots, the crowd was only responsive to some of them. The street fight was fairly good, all things considered, although the idiots behind me went over the edge here, as one of them was playing Mr. Know-it-all and was insisting that in a street fight, you could get DQ'ed. When asked how he wasn't sure, but he said he thought if you hit the ref. Moron. The biggest pop of the match was obviously the Angle Slam through the table, and that was that. Afterwards, nothing much happened. A drunk looking Big Show left to a small pop and his entrance music. The crowd began leaving as soon as the pinfall took place, though. Overall, a fairly decent show, and like I've said before, no matter how bad the product is, a live show is always pretty fun. I just wish I had gone to one at WWE's best, since it would have obviously been that much better.

I had planned on posting the entire thing here earlier in the week just to get some feedback or a general response for it, but now that I've made note of it here, those who are interested need look no further than SNKT to find it, not only because HTML is disabled here, but I've never been a big fan of the cross-post.
-
Various posters have posted the newest DVD releases on a pretty inconsistent basis over the past few months, so I decided I'd take on the task this week. I posted it over at SNKT, and was planning on posting it over here a couple days ago, but since Dames disabled HTML, I can't center anything, and thus, nothing looks too great. So, I'm just gonna provide a link to said thread, so you can all get a look at what's to come this coming week.

I rarely agree with Lethargic, but he's got a good point when he says that your surroundings affect what you're seeing on the screen. I was talking to a friend who saw the movie and she was saying how she laughed a lot more than she usually would have simply because everyone in the theatre was laughing. It may sound a bit conformist, but that's how it is. I, for example, love shows like the Simpsons and Seinfeld, and laugh plenty when watching them. However, get a few more people in the room and get them laughing, and you'll find me laughing more than I usually would. I enjoy to laugh regardless, but having a group of people laughing as well can not only affect how you percieve something, but enhance the enjoyment of it, as well.
-
HTML's disabled, so that's not gonna be happening anytime soon since it looks like a real mess without centering.

I think you sound like that kid everyone knows that's an eternal fuckup and ends up working at Taco Bell.

From what I've heard, it was more funny than anything else, which is a shame because it's crap like this that is passed off as horror these days. I wish slasher flicks would just pick a name for this horrid genre rather than piss on the once good name of horror, because thanks to all of these movies, many people are under the assumption that gore = horror. I'm pretty young myself, but I can trace things back to a time where horror movies were actually pretty scary and not just gory. A lot of people need to remember that "true" horror works more on the psychological level, and not the grossout level that so many of these movies work on.

And all it cost you were 32 charges of $29.95. I've got 520 points, and I haven't been credited with points from other things I've done. I'm going to be calling on Monday to see if any charges were, and if there have been, I'll be pissed, because I'm positive I cancelled. -
You know, there's something that scares me in Rico's profile I hope he's lying, because if he's not, it's pretty sad that a near 21-year-old is such a fool.

Please use the spoiler tags, as to not ruin the movie for anyone who wishes to be surprised when all of this transpires before their very eyes on the big screen. -
Ok, THAT'S all YOU had to SAY in your FIRST post, JACKASS.

How is Busta a horrible actor? He's not great, but he did a damn fine job in his role in Narc, so what exactly is about him that makes him such a horrible actor? Please explain.

Spoiler (Highlight to Read): EVERYONE's fighing EVERYONE, man. To keep things in order, Mills Lane, Judge Joe Brown, AND Judge Judy are all likely to star as the special enforcement team, in case things get out of hand (and with a cast of characters like that, you KNOW they will!). -
It's ok, you can admit that I have a point in boths posts. The most likely retort you'd get would be:
-
Rico, I have a hard time believing you can say anything any better.

Perhaps she's not a good actress, but c'mon, it's a fuckin' slasher flick. I don't ever recall there being anything above average acting in any slasher flick I've ever seen. You all act like she walked right in on the middle of To Kill A Mocking Bird or something with good actors in it.

There's also some talk about another cameo in the movie: Spoiler (Highlight to Read): The actor who played R2-D2 in the Star Wars movies, will return as the Leprechaun, back from his trip to the hood. He will help battle Jason in the quest to decide who had the best outing in outer space. Of course, this leaves the door wide open for a number of various characters from Star Wars, Star Trek, and Stargate to appear, in quest of the same title. -

My only hope is that it is filmed, edited, and released within the next two weeks, so that the TSM posters' dicks don't fall off from beating it to this news non-stop. That and it would spare me months and months of watching to the board busting a collective load everytime a new shred of news is reported about the sequel. -
When I saw that the initial post was more than two paragraphs and not impossible to understand, not to mention there was no smilie, I was having a hard time believing Rico actually composed it. Then I saw the credit. Thought so. Anyway, it's a great match but by no means is it forgotten, as it's usually mentioned whenever the event is brought up. And just for the record, there were a couple matches between faces between Wrestlemania VI and VIII, a MSG match between Tito Santana and Koko B Ware, being one of them.

Maybe it's just because I'm a very sarcastic person myself and think the likes of Jerry Seinfeld are geniuses in their craft, but I always enjoyed Spade's smartass character (and still do).

For a while there, I was wondering if you were going to start a sentence with something other than, "I decided..." Anyway, I give a nod to Philadelphia, which is a very emotional film, with only a couple scenes that I could do without. I teared up at the end, as did most of the class (which should show you how much of an impact it produces, since the class were full of people you wouldn't expect to see cry over a movie). If you want a fun Hanks movie, I'll go with Bachelor Party, all the way. Not only do you see a lighter side to Hanks, but you get an entertaining comedy, as well.
