In my effort to regain everything I lost from the virus, I recently installed the latest version of Kazaa Lite. I downloaded a couple of videos and then noticed that all of them played in a similar way--there's frequent pauses every couple of seconds throughout them and it's like that for ANY video I play on anything I have on my computer, even videos I have on disc. I understand that it has something to do with codecs, so I downloaded a codec pack from Kazaa but that hasn't helped any. If anyone could let me know how I can fix this or where I could look to to get it fixed, I'd appreciate it.

Did and nothing's changed.

Care to explain why, or do you just wanna join the group of people who just talk out of their ass and disappear when it's time to back up their statements?

Subliminal Animal - Gimmick Poster or Troll?

Yeah, he's like an educated Troll. Yeah, you're right. He should start threads whining about paying seven dollars to watch a $35 PPV, instead. -
Subliminal Animal - Gimmick Poster or Troll?

He has a tendancy to come in and start being a dick for no reason, but he's usually pretty sharp and seems to have a grasp on the English language, so I don't think that many people have the ground to call him out on too much. -
I've only seen Cruz pitch a couple times, twice as a starter, since he was filling in for Mark Prior during his abscence. He did a nice job and personally, think he'd do better than Estes, who never really seems to have good stuff when he pitches. He's not horrible, but he's got a ways to go before he can be a true threat. As for Cruz, I got a bad first impression when I first saw him pitch. He came out of the pen during a game against the Phillies in late June and was just terrible. He had no control and walked in several runs. Even the apologetic commentators weren't defending him. But since then, he's shown he can be good, the problem is, getting him to pitch on a regular basis. They rarely go to him when they need a relief pitcher, and I think it's been some two weeks since he's even pitched in any capacity. Say what you will about the Cubs, but you can't deny that they have one of the best young starting rotations out there. They've got some growing pains to take care of (Clement with his occassional troubles against lefties, settling down after giving up several hits, and his fielding), but once they do, they should be one of the more unstoppable rotations out there. They're usually pretty solid (aside from Estes), but the problems have come from the lack of Cubs offense at times.

Well, I think DH should get out here and explain a few things, because if I check my account tomorrow and I have charges on there that aren't supposed to be there, I'm gonna be pissed. This is beginning to sound more and more like a scam. -
I was wondering why my Cubs game was being interrupted every couple of minutes for a little while.

How are you finding these charges? I'd like to see if I'm being charged for any of these things, as well. -
It was a good show (great one for a while), but they had begun to run out of gas, especially by the final season, where they added in the new female character. In any case, I'll look forward to the show landed on DVD sooner or later.

Just curious as to what you all thought about the piece. I'd be interested to see what some of you have to say, so let me know it here or through other means. In my two tape reviews on the site thus far, I've tried to steer clear of the cliche style that has plagued many reviews, so do me a solid and let me know if I accomplished that.

I'm sure I have no idea what you're talking about.

See, I'm worried about running into Lethargic's problem. I've already got that stupid Video Professor thing on the way to me cause I didn't know you couldn't cancel on the 'net. Paying 40 bucks for some psychic reading is the last thing I need this week. -
Of course I've got it, and I've taken note on the suggestion. Just let me get the Wrestlecrap out of my system, before I join the rest of the 'net hacks (lot of 'em anyway) and review ya know, GOOD wrestling. Could be a while, with all the tapes I've got that fit into the Wrestlecrap category, though.

What's really sad is that it could've been prevented if I had had updated Norton to work with XP when I first installed XP a couple weeks back.
-
*shakes head* This think will forever be known as that demon that raped my computer of everything, pr0n included. I had to update Norton and then was going to get the security patch. Unfortunately, updating Norton took very long, since every couple of minutes my computer shut down. Once I had updated Norton for XP, the computer shut down, except this time, it wouldn't even let me access Windows. So, I called the idiot Arabic Compaq Technical Support center and was put on hold for ungodly periods of time (at 4 in the morning, mind you), only to be disconnected and then later, told that I would have to call a different number because I have XP Professional. Unfortunately, the place has regular business hours, and so I had to get up early and call this morning and guess what? The stupid Arab had given me a number to a product purchasing line. In the end, I was sent back to the number I had called the night before and was put on hold many times once again, before getting disconnected on two separate occassions, before finally giving up. I then decided to give my "ex-" uncle in Chicago a call since he's got a vast knowledge in the area of computers and will prolly end up in jail before it's all said in done, with all the illegal stuff he does with them. Anyway, he told me the best way to go would be to wipe my system clean, which was a real kick in the nads to me, but I had no other real alternative if I wished to get my computer back in any capacity. So after wiping it clean, getting the new Norton system from him, I'm back in business, albeit, without any of my extra programs, including Kazaa, which was home for my beloved collection of wrestling themes and porn. 'Tis was a bittersweet day for Bruiser Chong.

I agree totally and think that learning can be just as important as discussing. People think if they don't know much about something, they've got no business reading it. On the contrary, those are the threads you should be paying attention to the most. As for CK, I'm getting the urge to watch it again, but most of the things mentioned here (the work with the cameras, editing, etc.) is noted by Roger Ebert's commentary on the DVD set. One of the best commentaries I've heard, as he's informative and yet, seems like he's just having a great time watching it, unlike the usual, dry historian type you may get in similar cases (the other commentary on the disc, for example).

My, how profound.

I like how this joker never returned to at least explain what he said. One of my biggest pet peeves are people who talk out of their ass and then, when they're expected to back up their opinions and statements, disappear.

Here's the one you're probably looking for, but this is another one you may find useful. Either way, with both of those, you should be good to go, since it's unlikely you need any complex HTML.

Never root for the Braves again. Thank you When it comes to the Astros and Cards, I'll root for whoever is against them.
-
I was watching the game and just happened to change it for 30 seconds and MISSED the play. Bad timing on my part. I was more upset that the Braves blew it in the 8th, since I was hoping for a Cards loss. Seems like the Braves always lose when I'm pulling for them.

While that tape isn't exactly on deck or anything, it'd probably be one I'd get to eventually. But feel free to have a go at it PK, if I do get around to it, it'd probably be quite some time from now. As for my next review, I'm thinking the first Bloopers, Bleeps, and Bodyslams or Villains of the Squared Circle. I know the latter was done by SK a while ago, but I could put a new spin on it. While I'm thinking about it, if anyone has any suggestions for what they'd like to see in the future, just say so, because chances are, I have it.

I just did the Psychics4Free and then cancelled. I got this message after: Your membership to the website will continue until the end of the term you have purchased, but you will no longer be billed for your subscription. We appreciate the opportunity to help you. Does this mean that I'm going to get charged for it? I saw something around the lines of $40 and just wanna make sure I'm not getting charged for it. -

In addition, I'd just like to know how you're sure that these people don't keep charging your credit card after you've cancelled? I'm just a little suspicious about giving my CC number over the 'net.
