This just makes me want to see the Rockies stomp the everloving shit out of the Dbacks even more. Idiot fans.

WOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW. Mr. think he knows it all finally got something wrong. Justice might have been injury prone after 1997 but he did hit 41 homeruns and drove in 120 rbi's in 2000. Last time I checked he was the spark plug he guided the Yankees to the playoffs when the team played poorly in the second half and I could have sworn he won the 2000 ALCS MVP against Seattle. That is pretty good for an average player.

The only positive about that Boston card is the badass cape and sunglasses combo King Kong Bundy is sporting in the pre-match introductions. The arena shows from this era are interesting if for no other reason than to hear Ventura on commentary. He's quite far from the loud, outspoken individual he had become by 1986.

That's quite the refreshing looking bottle of champagne, there.
-
Pfft. Figures it'd be a solo shot.

HA! There's your Mr. Clutch. The media's going to need to do one hell of a spin job to not pin some of this on the Captain.
-
Oh man, we haven't heard this story before. *leans forward with interest* Hopefully Torre and A-Rod are both gone next year, the Yanks make the postseason, get eliminated with little difficulty, and Yankee fans are forced to find another scapegoat.
-
There are a lot of things Invader doesn't understand. I'm sure the Brewers and their pen would've fared much better than the Cubs. I can't believe anyone's shocked the NL Central champs made a fairly quick exit in the postseason. Did we just forget the last three or four months?
-
Given last year, this season was a success. The postseason was embarrassing, but not entirely surprising. I don't think Lou should catch flack for the Zambrano thing because: 1) Marmol had been lights out all year 2) The Cubs were not winning when the move was made 3) Soriano, Ramirez, and Lee had a grand total of zero RBI in the entire series; sorry, but what he did with Zambrano's irrelevant when your top three don't do a damn thing. Soriano and Ramirez were just horrible looking in the series. Anyway, I eagerly await the Rockies' stomping of the DBacks.

Cubs are done if Aramis Ramirez, their best run guy, is going to hit like Steve Buchelle.
-
When's the last time all four DS had the possibility to be decided by the end of Game 3?
-
He said what he said.
-
Augie Ojeda has more RBI in this game than Soriano and Ramirez have total in this series. So does Doug Davis.
-
Sometimes I wonder why I couldn't have been alerted to the Cubs' illustrious history of being terrible before I was hooked as a fan. I wasn't expecting much, but the overwhelming belief that Cubs were taking this series got me thinking positively. I guess it'll be a NLCS with a lot of white guys and Jorge Julio. Or Julio Jorge, depending on who gets to call the game.

I'm more annoyed by the noticeable shift in sound pitch any time they switch camera angles. Lilly's pretty damn annoying, too. My god.

Man, that is BRUTAL. Good thing I've always heard Mesa's an ass, so I don't feel that bad. But wow. Charlie's apparently the only guy who thinks using Mesa's smart.
-
I don't understand why Mesa's pitching in the playoffs, let alone a close playoff game. Where's Alfonseca?
-
Forget that, where's my god damn Diamond Cam and Scooter?
-
Steve Stone's presence in the booth just made this game a must-watch.
-
I'm amused Richard thinks the Cubs getting all the way to the World Series and losing would make Cub fans happy.
-
Michael Barrett dropping a ball at the plate? Never seen that one before.
-
Yeah, kind of ironic the team's MVP is really the one who cost them this game. But Hurdle just proved why despite his team's success, he's a dumbass manager. I mean, Jorge Julio? Ha. He must of known I have to go to bed right away.

The longer this goes, the better off Philly's going to be come Wednesday.

I recall several Yankees daygames against the Twins in 2003 and 2004.

You underestimate the awfulness of Josh Fogg.
