Man shoots himself with a 50 cal in the head, on accident on video, an

BY accident. //Czech -
And let's not forget he only lost the title to Sid because he was more concerned with his mentor having a attack of the heart due to a meeting between his chest and a camera. I was just reading the WON from the week after this and Meltz was real critical of them using such an angle and then going off the air without any resolution about whether Jose was going to be okay or not. The juice allegations seem odd, since Michaels was pretty FAT around this time. Some time in 1986. Ratings were awful and Vince jumped off the sinking ship, placing Mean Gene as the host from that point on. I can't wait for those episodes.

You're obviously not in tune with the alternative media.

Three-man announcing crews as a rule of thumb are generally terrible. The only exception to that rule without question was Monsoon/Heenan/Piper. Three guys who loved to talk and yet, they all got their say in without denying each other their chance to chime in. And it's always great to hear Piper call a Warrior match. He does nothing to hide the fact that he absolutely despises the guy.

It was just the years of arguments between the two. It was odd, because the two had more or less stopped working with each other entirely by that point, so it wasn't even like Heenan was around that much to annoy Monsoon. It was just that all of a sudden, Heenan was making more mean-spirited remarks about Gorilla. Heenan's contract was about up, though, so it seems like that was the best they could come with to explain his eventual departure.

Yeah, not like they had some like Sandy Alomar Jr. they could've cut instead. Oh wait.

I'm not the only one who found I Love Lucy to be terribly overrated, am I?

Why not just use ground turkey if you don't wanna use ground beef, X? Or even lean beef. Good stuff.

Will you be mailing it to pbone?

I was going to mention that, but didn't want to overshadow him slamming a woman's face into the apron multiple times. But yes, that's a great, often overlooked match. The way Poffo is able to get under the skin of not only Hogan, but McMahon, simply by his gymnastic approach to simple things, is fabulous. He was being prepped to feud with Razor, with the seeds being planted during the match. If you'll recall, IRS would go on to steal Razor's gold within weeks of this, setting up their match at the '94 Rumble. Jerry Lawler was originally the captain of the Knights team, but due to that scandal, was dropped and Shawn was quickly plugged into the match. Even though this match had been set up by months and months of Bret/Lawler, they used Shawn's meeting with Bret the previous year as the motivation for Shawn's involvement. Shawn had actually quit the company prior to this, but was brought back for this show. That seems like reason enough to have Diesel there and Shawn elsewhere. This is my brother's favorite Survivor Series, so he came over today and had time to watch one match. Since I was midway through Part 1 and he was pressed for time, this was the match we wound up watching. Just awful. Nothing makes sense and it really made everyone on Bam's team look like jokes. Not that Booger wasn't already a joke. Speaking of Booger, we have the proud honor of having him be the only notable wrestler to ever come out of my home city. Yay. Luger was sooooo stale here. Him not winning the title at Summerslam made me lose all interest in the guy and looking back, his gimmick is so incredibly cheesy. How about that greeting from his family to open the show?

Some people are using the argument that Rowand and Pujols are hitting around the same right now and since Rowand is hitting well with RISP and two outs in a WHOPPING 38 at-bats this season, Rowand was the man wanted in that position. You can't argue with these people, pointing out that if you take into consideration more than three months, Pujols and Rowand are about as different as two all-stars can get. But hey, it's apparently all about RIGHT NOW with these people. And of course, Al's going to need to explain the Soriano thing. I'd imagine Sori has a better chance of holding up physically may be part of it, but I'll let you confirm.

The only thing I worry about vis-a-vis the Pronk deal is that they'll be paying him a huge chunk of change for the seasons in which he'll be in his mid-30s. I love the guy and all, but that's a real risky deal. Then again, most of these loaded contracts are high-risk and this one has a much better chance to pan out for the Tribe than say, the Barry Zito, Carlos Lee, Gary Matthews Jr., Alfonso Soriano, Juan Pierre, and Jason Schmidt deals.

God yes. If you ever need a coat, go there near the end of February and you'll have it made. I saw a coat this past winter that had retailed for around $200 and was marked down to $40. I was on the fence, decided to hold off, came back a day later, and the sale was over. But Kohl's has such great sales that I don't even bother looking at their "new" clothing. Strictly clearance.

Plus it'd be a BITCH to fast-forward through the whole thing. I dislike having to fast-forward even after they've been split up. Everyone should watch Hulkamania Forever. Hogan SLAMS Sherri's face into the apron not once, but twice.

There are people actually going to bat for TLR, stating the Aaron Rowand's no slouch. But he isn't ALBERT PUJOLS, people. I don't get that defense. Who cares if ______ isn't a slouch; he can't be compared to Pujols.

I've got Survivor Series '93, Hogan/Slaughter, Duggan/Slaughter, TNT, Hulkamania Forever, and some other stuff. For whatever reason, it looks like we've been blessed with having the MSG card for THREE weeks. I skimmed through SS '93 and I'll repeat: this is a must-watch for Heenan fans. The man's in rare form here, especially during the Family Feud match. Everything he says is at least amusing, which isn't easy with McMahon as usual failing to play the set-up man and Ray Combs being absolutely lost. "Did you see Stu just yelled over to Helen, 'Helen, I'm damp. What does that mean?'"

I didn't have online access during the ninth, otherwise I would've been on here to see if everyone else was thinking what I was: where the FUCK is Pujols? I was criticizing Tony for nothing pinch-hitting him for Hudson, until I realized that if the game went to extras, they were in trouble. But with the bases loaded in a one-run game and two outs, you gotta figure it's either going to be a loss or a win. An out obviously ends it and a hit probably wins it. Anti-climatic and I really think the NL should've pulled it out. Good show by the Cubs in the ninth, though. I was pretty nervous Soriano and Lee were both gonna end it.

Selling loads of WWF Coliseum Videos
Bruiser Chong replied to MillenniumMan831's topic in TSMarketplace
Say it ain't so! I'm actually prepping to sell off my collection, too, since I've got most transferred to DVD. I did notice these on eBay a couple days ago, though. You should've hit me up, though. I would've been more than willing to list those on eBay. I've wondered about I Sold It on eBay; what kind of percentage do they snatch? -
Hey, that grocery store fight was gold, Jerry, gold. Didn't it wind up in a church at one point?

It's crazy how over Slaughter was with that gimmick. That one lady in the crowd while Sarge was reciting the Pledge of Allegiance was frightening.

Looks like the Brewers are going to drop another to the Nats, but the Cubs aren't going to capitalize. Zambrano made one big mistake (a two-run shot from Bay), but was solid otherwise. Unfortunately, the Cubs apparently haven't found that lefty BP coach, cuz they're still awful against left-handed pitching. And Derrek Lee's warning track power saddens me.

I like '92 and all, but I wouldn't rank it anywhere near the best Slam of all time. It's got one fantastic match (Bret/DBS), one very good match (Warrior/Savage) and nothing else. You've got a lot of average-at-best matches and no real blowoffs (HBK/Martel may be the exception). Those of you ranking it up near or at the top, is it because of the two mains? They're quality and all, but don't entirely make up for Nailz/Virgil, Crush/Repo Man, Kamala/Undertaker, etc.
-
No you don't. I have it and honestly, the only real difference seems to be the Coliseum version cut out the dozens of spots for the boxing show they were promoting throughout the PPV.
