Tigers don't have a hit yet.
-
I just came back on here to see if anyone else was watching the Sox feed. Dear god. It's bad enough he's always complaining about the umps, but he always lets one call set him off on this tangent where he starts bringing up other games. He's STILL bitching about the game from Monday. Shut the fuck up already.

Has Francona ever lifted a pitcher before everything fell apart? Schilling was clearly fading and he left him in there not only to blow the lead, but give the lead to the Royals. P.S. doctors aren't confident Francisco Liriano will pitch again this season.
-
A-Rod may have to skip town shortly.
-
Somewhat. Like most people who mess with lifting, the curl was one of the first things I tried and kept with. It certainly helps, but in the grand scheme of things, it's pointless unless you have hours a day to dedicate to lifting. I'll still throw in the curl now and again, but I find that there are plenty of other exercises that work the biceps and target other muscles, too. I know there aren't too many guys that don't like a nice-looking bicep, but if you're lifting to build better strength, it's best to stick with the exercises that work a group of muscles and not just one.

Mark Prior is done. Five earned, four walks, one strikeout, and 58 pitches through three innings. Where or where has that command gone?
-
And to make matters worse, they get a rundown between third and home...and can't tag him out at the plate.

Giants drop a 5-3 game, despite 15 hits. The D'Backs turned a franchise record five doubleplays. And the Dodgers' win streak may be in jeopardy, as the Rockies just took the lead in the ninth.
-
IZZY! The Reds are a fun team to watch when their pitching isn't terrible.
-
If the Tigers blow a nine-game lead with less than two months to play, then perhaps they aren't worthy of a postseason appearance. P.S. Brewers no-hitter gone and in a matter of minutes, it's 6-3.

Hawk, you shouldn't be posting at TSM while Comcast is paying you to call the game.

Carlos Zambrano's been ass his last two starts. Even with some of things beyond his control that led to runs (new second baseman, passed ball, blown call, etc.), it's not encouraging he's given up 12 runs over his last two starts. And I'm only now noticing the Cubs don't have a hit through five. *knocks on wood*

Phil Nevin looks like a person with an inner ear problem and their shoelaces tied together on defense.
-
Don't overlook Michael Barrett. They were talking about that on the Brewers' feed tonight. He's only a few PA's shy of being eligible for the batting title.

The curls for your biceps are pointless. You should be looking to do exercises that incorporate more than one muscle. Unless you have a ton of time, avoid exercises that isolate a particular muscle. There are plenty of upper body exercises you can do that'll give you a nice-looking bicep without ever having to do a curl.

I always get a kick out of people acting as if someone's name is an indication of talent.
-
What are you basing this on? Nine of the 13 runs he's allowed to Detroit this year have come in two games: one came earlier in the year as a reliever and last night, where he admitted the pain was so great he had trouble throwing any of his pitches. He went eight innings, gave up two earned and struck out 12 against them two weeks ago. That's hardly getting owned.

Joe Girardi was apparently close to being canned on Sunday, after a heated argument with Loria.

The implosion of Mark Buehrle continues. Ozzie should shoulder some of the blame, though, since he was poised to have a quality start. But as usual, Ozzie stuck with his starter, even though the announcers were positive he was going to rightfully be taken out. Cue several hits, walks and three runs. Couldn't happen to a better guy.
-
Even though all runs were given up by the starting pitcher?

DBacks get Livan Hernandez.

ESPN Breaking News: Mark Prior wins a game.
-
Man, Prior can't even get out of the sixth against the Pirates. And that's after throwing just 11 pitches in the first. His control completely abandoned him in the sixth, when he yielded three walks and hit a batter.
-
I actually cringed during that part. One of the more simple, but quotable lines I just remembered: If you don't chew Big Red, *BLEEP* you. The outtakes and deleted scenes during the credits were fun to watch. You wonder how these people can make it through such funny scenes without cracking up, so it's always interesting to see outtakes where they can't.

Do the Phillies have anyone else who can play first? If so, I would've pinch-run for Howard, since someone with any speed probably scores on that hit from Utley.
