The Dusty/Dustin tag team would, more than likely, get over in the asylum but fuck me it's a horrible thought all the same.
-
If they got <insert good indy guy with a good talent> for Nash/Hall/Sting/Macho/Goldberg's money then they'd STILL be better doingso. To be fair, I think they already have a strong indy roster signed up, I'm looking at it in terms of getting in outside mark-appeal talent for their big show.
-
If they can get Goldberg for the same money as Nash/Hall/Sting/Macho combined then I reckon they'd be better off doing so.
-
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Sorry. It's just...well....Spanky and the one legged wonder...not what you'd call a terrifying invasion group now, is it ?
-
Odds on Savage being the new authority figure ?
-
Yeah, seems like every week some muppet makes that statement about the company closing it's doors. Anyway, piece of shit show, sure you'd agree with that.
-
Hey, what do you know, Raw champ belittles Smackdown champ on Monday, Smackdown champ says nowt in return.
-
Macho has NO name value, CAN'T draw and is no longer ABLE to wrestle. Sting, Nash & Hall I get, but that old freak ? Stupid, stupid, stupid. Now, having said that, if you plan to use him lads, make sure he's signed a contract first, right ? Hang on, where did the quoted text come from ?
-
See, I don't have a problem with HHH ragging on Lesnar BUT Brock should return the favour on Smackdown.
-
Book him as a violent machine, that's what he does best, if he doesn't get over doing that then you might as well give up on him. He's been on two shows now and wrestled for under three minutes.
-
My one concern about taped shows would be the crowd reactions - they're pretty poor as is, doubt they'd be pretty after three hours!
-
How simple are the folks who actually pay for the show when the vast majority of the crowd actually get in for free ?
-
Presumably they'll be smart enough this time out to have all concerned signed to contracts before building a major angle and event around them.

In the short term I think the ICP thing could be good - it gets a whole new set of eyeballs for the product, it's up to creative to turn possible fans into regular watchers. In the long term...well...given that the bods in charge where unable to deal with the Heel Section.... Actually that's another interesting point - it does look like the eviction of the Heel Section has had a noticeable, negative effect on the mood in the asylum.
-
Hey now, I never said it was 'the worst decision ever', just think it's pointless.

Yeah, and if NWATNA were putting on a football match his presence would probably draw some buys. Good thing the WWF didn't follow your reasoning when they brought Mike Tyson in in 1998, huh. Fair point, to a degree, I'd argue that Mister Urlacher isn't even the half name that Tyson was way back then.

Somebody said this on another thread and it sounds very WWE - it comes down to Benoit/Goldberg, Lenar interfers and tries to eliminate Benoit but accidentally knocks Goldberg over the top rope instead. It's perfect in that it's a shit way to kickstart Goldberg/Lesnar and does nothing for Chris Benoit.
-
I'm more concerned with them wasting PPV time on a football player.

Jerry Lynn's TNA Future Not Looking Bright

Cool, the crowd was nuts at times but I thought it was an average show myself. -

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic there or not! -
TNA Going Forward On PPV Plans Without Hogan

The Torch says that it's a go for April, with NWATNA trying to sign Hall/Nash and Shamrock for the event. Toby Keith will be performing, which is reason enough not to watch. -

How about showing good wrestling. I think that would work, instead of bringing in two has beens. Well that's what they should be doing with their weekly show - to my mind they need something special to hype up a $35 effort. -
I've no real problem with them using the 'X' like that.
