One would hope so, yes.

Don't announce him as signed till you've got his name on a contract!
-
This is the best thread ever - RVDMARK, 1inch, thanks for the laughs lads. I reckon you're dead right Bryan, Hogan wants to drop the leg on Russo sooooo bad.
-
I don't recall hearing anything about EA til D-Lo's recent interview - do you have a link or something on that ? I haven't been online much over the last month so it's quite likely that I missed it at the time. Def Jam had a pretty big license behind it with the likes of DMX, Ludacris and Redman all involved.
-
Do we know there is ? It's one thing for some video game company execs to accept free flights, free lodging and free dinners in order to watch an NWATNA show and another for a company, or companies, to be interested in buying the NWATNA license.
-
Outside of the Iron Man match, I can't remember the last time I watched any WWE television.
-
Exactly. Trusting to his word, given the character he's displayed in the past, wouldn't be the wisest of moves.
-
I don't agree with the positive spin you tend to put on all things NWATNA Bryan but I do enjoy reading your FTO columns. I think it'd be a suicidal move for NWATNA to build a big event around Hulk Hogan if all he's willing to give them is a verbal agreement. To answer your question, "What's in it for Hogan ?" Well, if the NWATNA bods build around Hogan but don't have him locked into a written contract, then he's in the perfect position to get himself back into the WWE. He doesn't have to prove he's a draw to do it either, you think Vince could resist swooping him out from under the noses of NWATNA on the eve of their big night ? NWATNA have to get his name on a piece of paper, otherwise they're setting themselves up for a huge fall.
-
Another point : I hope that NWATNA got Hogan's name on a cast iron contract, otherwise they're just playing a part in his efforts at getting back into the WWE.
-
It'll be interesting to see what kind of buyrate Hogan will draw.
-
Alternative.

I've a lot of respect for the Rock and wish him nothing but success with whatever he decides to do with his career - the fact that his success outside the wrestling business clearly pisses the hell out of HHH is just gravy.
-
Just listen to the fans, especially the live crowds. They're eating up everything Eddie does at the moment - I'd push him right to the top, give the people who are paying to see the product what they want.
-
Did you watch the X match last week ? By all accounts the WWE is putting out a poor product at the moment (I'm not bothering with it myself) but the fact is that NWATNA does come across as bush league all too often.
-
As I said elsewhere on this forum Dames, I pretty much agreed with your view of last weeks show and it was comforting to find someone else who wasn't blown away by the X match.
-
Last week's show was weird - I really didn't think it was anything special but a lot of people flipped their shit over it. Dames' review helped convince me that I wasn't going totally mad mind.
-
EVERY time there's a massive internet backlash against an episode of Raw, 1wrestling runs a story like this. Just saying isall.
-
I appreciate that you're obviously a big fan of the NWATNA product but that's just silly, there's no way they'd draw those kind of numbers.
-
Agreed, but it does make the promotion look more than a little bush league.
-
Pretty average stuff but I got a good laugh out of the X match.
-
Did any of you guys see Low Ki take out the camera man ?
-
Lesnar climbing the cell with the title around his neck after beating the Undertaker - that's my main memory of Brock so far.

"I know they aren’t dumb enough to do the same dumb ladder match finish as they did with AJ and D-Lo...so someone has to win here."
