Far Beyond Driven debuted at number one on Billboard, and they have sold millions of albums worldwide. While still not being a mainstream-focused band. Which is my whole point. Getting away from the completely ridiculous argument about the Beatles vs. Pantera (give me a fucking break), Dimebag Darrel was a guitarist and metal revolutionary only for the fact (the only one i need to justify my argument) that Pantera became such a well known and respected metal band despite having next to no mainstream appeal, something the fucking Beatles were all about. Fuck the fucking Beatles. By the way Thumbtack guy, The Great Southern Trendkill was Pantera's best album, but I haven't heard Reinventing The Steel.

Yeah, Dookie was great, but I'd have to say that Nimrod was their best, well written and great song variety. American Idiot really isn't that good. But it's still better than almost any pop music today, so I guess that's why it won awards.

What? I don't know about his other bands, but with Pantera he and the band only got better as they progressed.

If anything Green Day has peaked with this album. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't think American Idiot is the pinnacle of their work. Also, Green Day was never THAT great. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I agree with The Czech Republic here, as American Idiot is quite overrated by most but is a good "comeback" record.

Even though the band have cancelled some European shows after the Live8 benefit (more info & official statements will probably follow soon), they are only taking a break from the exhausting tour that they've been on for over a year, so they can rock the U.S. even better after a well-deserved break.

Anyway my high school peers were once completely reviled by me until very recently when I've started to get back in touch with my old friends that I swore I would never get back in touch with. I actually miss them and wish I had been closer to them when I had the chance. Jaxl is completely and utterly full of shit, and I know I'm not the only one who thinks so. With High School, I switched schools in the middle of it, so it was hard to meet people all over again, especially with the amount of snobs in my second school. So I wouldn't go back, but would have liked to have a better experience with it.

I heard a theory a few years back that these next-gen aircrafts are being flight tested and are likely the UFOs that so many people have seen, and that the Alien theory was made up to help take people's minds off of things like politics and everyday life

don't know if anyone has said this yet, but it doesn't really matter about the ratings Fox says, because they're basing shows on DVD revenue now

I agree that what it looks like really doesn't matter compared to playablity, but I have a Sony, so I'm not going to switch to Xbox anyways. For me its Sony > whatever other console, because that is how its been for years now.
