Also, who's to say HBK doesn't get all dickish by wildly overselling Rock's offense like he did in the Hogan match? Plus, if you want to talk "dream match", I'd rather see Rock/Rey. That'd be way better than Rock/HBK.
-
You would've never gotten it anyway. It's been stated plenty that Rock hates Shawn Michaels and wouldn't want to work with the guy. Not that I don't believe it, but this is the first I've heard of it. Story? Back in 96-97 Shawn who is course buddies with Hunter and had pull basically burried the Rock to Vince. Saying the guy was nothing and would never be anything and they should just get rid of him. Then Shawn thought the Rock was stealing Hunters spot and kept bitching about that. Also the Rock has basically said Shawn was nothing but a complete prick to him the entire time he was around...... Add in that Bret Hart was the one guy who stood up for the Rock and told Vince he was the future of the company.........I think you can get the picture of why the Rock has no desire to ever work with HBK. I think there's also some dickinsh stuff from when HBK did some shows for Rock's dad. Why should he? Rock's got nothing to gain from working w/ HBK. If Rock wants to come back & do a quick feud/match, he's earned the right to pick & choose who he'd want to work with. So he doesn't want to work with HBK - get over it.

Are we going to start a Season 3 thread, or just keep using this one (ala the Lost thread)?

Yeah, just Google "Fred Phelps" and be prepared to be disgusted by that major league douche. -
I'm with you. I have absolutely no desire to see the guy ever again.

Good episode. I liked the swerves in regards to which motel the FBI was going to end up at. I totally bought Tweener getting busted. Tweener needs to tone down the paranoia, though. If I was that girl, I would've ditched him by now. He's been acting way too shady. I busted a gut at T-Bag's "I had a little work done" when Michael (or was it Linc?) asked him about his hand from next week's previews.

A better ending would have been Orton being hit w/ the backcracker, then popping off right into the FU. Looked like that's what they were setting up, and it would have been a SWEET spot.

Ahhh, there's Hardy's trademark botch.
-
Looking forward to the 6-man tag. Not thrilled that Hardy is in there, but last week's 6-person match was hella fun even though 2 women were in there, so I expect more of the same. Trish/Mickie should be fun. I have zero interest in HHH/Vince.

No McMahons/DX, better wrestlers in high-profile spots (all throughout the card, actually), and minimal (if any) meddling from Vince.

-Dana Scully/Fox Mulder - X-Files -Joel Flesichman/Maggie O'Connell - Northern Exposure -Dave Nelson/Lisa Miller - NewsRadio

They had a 6.5 game lead w/ 12 games left in the season, then proceeded to lose 10 straight.

Geography for me (Phillies/Flyers/76ers), except I stray when it comes to football. I started out as an Eagles fan, but the post-Super Bowl Marion Campbell era was nothing to write home about. SB XIX rolled around, and everyone in the schoolyard was picking sides between the 49ers & Dolphins. I picked the Dolphins, and stuck with them ever since. I picked the Miami Hurricanes since I already was rooting for the Dolphins, and Penn State since I attended & graduated from there.

The guys were out on the floor, so the girls started brawling in the heel corner. 1 of the heels (I forget which one) came in to pull off 1 of the girls, and Kendrick caught him w/ a top rope sunset flip. Dude didn't go down, so London hit him w/ the dropsault, enabling Kendrick to roll him over for the pin.

I watched!

Some humorous glitches: from the European version His arm doesn't bend that way!

Noticed Rey didn't wear the "EG" armband this week.

So, how was Pearl Jam @ Reading? I'm watching the videos on Youtube. Looks like a great time.

Down here in Miami, there's a Wes Welker fan club that's started since last season, which is kinda funny that they were following him around and whatnot to any appearance he'd make. That was when he was handling all the kicking duties as well as playing receiver and return. I was digging him last year, too. It's just that being outside of Philly, I don't get to see much of the Dolphins outside of nationally televised games.
-
Ugh. Anyone wanna join me on the Wes Welker bandwagon?
-
Hey, I've lost already. Wee!
