One and Only Star Wars Geekiness Thread
Spaceman Spiff replied to Black Lushus's topic in Television & Film
Plus, it would parallel Yoda's "too old to begin the training" line in regards to Luke in ESB. -
-UH!

Doesn't scream out "I'M A WRESTLING FAN!" (unless someone knows who Booker T is), isn't over the top, plus I don't see the WWE logo (although I'm sure it will be on the actual shirt). What say ye?

Comments that don't warrant a thread
Spaceman Spiff replied to {''({o..o})''}'s topic in Video Games
"GTA: Liberty City Stories" for the PS2 is released today, I believe. Surprised there wasn't a thread for this. -
Phil was Captain Carl. Regardless, it would just be re-airing that special, not producing a new one. As for not being in the kiddie show, I remember when Phil was on Howard Stern, they got into a discussion of some bad blood between Hartman & Reubens. Something along the lines of Reubens taking too much credit. Not sure if that was the main reason or not, though.

Exhibit A: Vince McMahon, CEO of a multi-million dollar business, on national TV with his pants around his ankles, forcing another man to kiss his bare ass.

They should run the HBO special that the kiddie show was based on. And speaking of, who saw that special, and said "this'll work for kids!"? That's kinda messed up.

I think it was more that AJ is a pussy, and didn't want to get his ass kicked, moreso than showing maturity. I can't be the only one who thought he was about to get beat down. A lot of tension below the surface in this episode. I though something was going to happen to Christopher with the way NY was talking about retaliation, and the amount of screentime Chris was getting. I kept waiting for a NY crewmember to take a shot at him while he was out w/ Julianna.

Damn you, Jack Bauer, for stealing Footsteps from me. Awesome show last night. Best of the 5 I've seen. Band was energetic, crowd was incredible (esp. during Black & Alive), an all around great show. Show lasted about 2 hours 45 minutes. -
This is awesome.

I cosine the above.

Hold your breath for another hour or so just to make sure they're gone for good.

Yeah, better get the belt off that Rey guy. He's killing the company. -

OK, I know this is supposed to be a "state your opinion w/out having to support it" thread, but PLEASE justify this opinion, because it is completely ridiculous. Also, black trunks & bald head != Austin rip-off, but I'll let it slide. But I guess that's to be expected when you agree w/ Warrior's opinions. -
General legal question about business world
Spaceman Spiff replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Chat
It's probably legal, but it's doubtful the boss would do so unless the employee has been causing problems and the boss is building up a case to fire said employee. I'm sure the boss has better things to do than monitor everyone's voicemails. -
http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=4729 Feb. 28, 2006. Commentary on only 10 of the 24 episodes, but I couldn't care less. 3 discs, $39.95.

Dammit, they just played "Footsteps" at the 1st Meadowlands show tonight. I'm going to the 2nd show on Sat., and I was hoping to hear the song there. The 1 song I've been dying to hear live, and haven't in the 4 shows I've been to already. Dammit. And it's "Come Back", not "Come Home", btw. -

Cena doesn't need to turn heel. He's perfectly fine as is. -
Heh, that's acute joke.

That's just ridiculous. House shows are vital for the company and the wrestlers. -
Yeah, I'd lose the "Booker T" on the front, but the catchphrase on the back doesn't bother me.
