It was $1 hot dog night, too, which I'm sure made it a little easier to throw down that many dogs.

Ryan Howard hits a two-run walkoff home run in the bottom of the 10th (after a Pat Burrell lead-off TRIPLE). Phillies win. Sit Thome for the rest of the year. Viva Ryan Howard.

OHSHITPICSPLEASE.

Considering that The Simpsons arguably made the network, and was a HUGE cash cow for Fox, I guess Groening thought Fox'd be nice enough to at least do a somewhat decent job of promoting/nuturing his other show.

On Smackdown.

Earl's problem is his "1-2-FULL BODY SPASM!" count that telegraphs a kick-out.

I'm back like Ricky.

Damn, I want to see this match. Was it any good?

Sweet. I tried to get tix for 1 of the Borgata shows, but they sold out in 2 minutes.

Uh-huh. That's why he got a big pop for winning.

Chase Utley~!

Pink slip.

But he spends a lot of time making fun of the "bling culture" in the African American community. Hell, that's practically the sole reason for the Riley character. He calls black people on shit as much as he does white people.

Which DVD's have the best commentaries?

Simpsons Futurama (better than Simpsons in regards to commentary) -
What's the point in changing up shit, since the bulk of the people who'd be interested in seeing the movie are people who grew up watching the cartoons in the 80's? Sure, Soundwave may be outdated, but who cares?

But I could see a situation where the fans just turn on Cena, and I'd wager he'd then a more-over heel than Edge. Kind of a win/win situation for Cena.

ChrisMWaters?

Um, those signs are pretty lackluster.

But do you think Edge can retain his heat that long? A lot of his heat is due to the Hardy/Edge/Lita "thing", which is bound to die out sooner or later (say, after he's done his program w/ Matt?). I agree that Cena's heat won't have a long shelf life, but I also don't think Edge's will, either.

I know YCDTOTV. I watched it all the time when I was younger. I had a crush on Alanis when she was on it. I was asking what the Family Guy joke/reference was (I guess I didn't really make it clear - sorry).
-
I missed the show - what was the joke/reference?

Anything that gets him a push is A-OK with me.

VPW2's opening is pretty sweet, too. -
Pearl Jam will be there 8/29, if you're into them at all.

It'll never happen. Groening didn't like how Fox handled Futurama during its initial run, so why would he agree to put it back on there? The only way I could see him OK'ing that move would be if Fox agreed to put it on after The Simpsons in the 8:30 spot. 9:00 - 10:00 would be McFarlane's hour, and between 7:00 - 8:00 would mean it would be pre-empted due to football (which was 1 of Groening's complaints w/ the initial Futurama run).
