In the AKI N64 games, it was called the "snap ab suplex", if I'm not mistaken.

The Current Events folder. It's a lot like Hitler.

Ripping me off. -
Manuel's infatuation for pinch hitting Jose Offerman for Marlon Byrd is really starting to piss me off. Here is a fun fact. Byrd and Offerman both have four hits this season. It took Byrd 8 at bats to get them, and Offerman 23. Offerman hit .256 in limited at bats last year, and somehow that qualifies him as a proven pinch hitter? The man has not been a credible threat at the plate since 1999. He's a professional hitter! So says Charlie Manuel.

I miss Palumbo & Stamboli. Johnny/Nunzio were starting to get pretty over right before they released Johnny. -

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Kanyon retired, too.

I don't usually do this type of stuff

He's done a few of these over the last couple months. The 3rd pic is great. No words needed to tell the story. -
He's more a victim of circumstance. He would have been pushed hard in WCW, and probably would have gotten over big time. WCW going out of business put an end to that. He goes to the WWF, doesn't shake hands (or whatever BS reason), gets jobbed out & sent to OVW, where he bulks up, taking away the "big man who can fly" mystique about him that made him unique. Also working against him was the fact that Bischoff had big plans for him in WCW. That's not to say he had the talent to go far, as he was probably OK (at best). He could have been a big star, but there was stuff largely out of his control that worked against him. Would've been interesting to see how he turned out had WCW not gone under.

The daughter's got a big forehead. Too big, in fact. A bit off-putting. Lauren Graham is hot, though. And not just 'cause she was on NewsRadio.

You could hear someone in the crowd shouting "Arn! Arn!" when they came out to get Kurt away from Sharmell.

How is Mark Henry an underachiever? The dude's no good. When I think "underachiever", I think of a guy w/ talent who just dogged it and/or pissed it all away and/or didn't perform up to his talent level.

You'd hope so, but the team is virtually the same as last year. That team didn't turn it around until they were out of it. Too many K's, a pitching straff in disarray, and a dismal bullpen. I hope they can turn it around, but my I'm certainly not getting my hopes up.

At the risk of sounding Anglesault-ish, the Phillies are done. D. O. N. E. Lieberthal is garbage. Bell is hurting (again). The bullpen is terrible (Fultz, Cormier, WORRELL, Adams). Only 2 starting pitchers are giving us anything (Lieber, Myers). Polanco bitches if he's not in the starting lineup. Leyland SHOULD have been the manager, but they instead went w/ good 'ol boy Charlie Manuel. They need something to shake up the team. Bench Lieberthal, and start Pratt. Make a trade (i.e. Burrell/Thome/Abreu level trade, not Perez for [random backup IF]). Do SOMETHING, because I don't see the Phillies going anywhere w/ the team as it is. If they stand pat, things are going to get ugly. Help me Al Keiper, you're my only hope.

Where else are you going to get anal?

News on HeartThrobs, Gangrel, Stevie, and more
Spaceman Spiff replied to JoeDirt's topic in The WWE Folder
I'd rather they would have kept A-Train, Palumbo, or Stamboli around than bring back Gangrel (not including Knoble, since he was let go for reasons other than "nothing for him to do"). -
Hopefully not.

I bet it was that IM from Czech that she found.

Talk about a tease - Shannon is rocking the white shirt, but no shots of it when it was wet. Boo.

Except Jericho or Christian don't need a manager. Those guys are already over, and can talk on their own, so giving them a manager would be redundant.

It looked that way in the opening promo (letting Rey get beat up last week doesn't help, though), but the ending of the show cements Eddie as the heel.

Velocity used to be really great, since they'd usually have a couple good cruiser matches, and a decent tag match. It's gone downhill lately by featuring a bunch of stiffs instead, but we occasionally get a nugget here & there (see: the 3 London/Akio matches, the cruisers opening up their movesets a bit). Also, Velocity has a consistent timeslot: Sat. night @ 11:00. SD looks pretty good, and I'll definitely check out London/Akio on Velocity (although heavier on the comedy is a bit distressing).
