Paul London and Chuck Palumbo Released.
Spaceman Spiff replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Agreed on the Palumbo/Noble stuff. Chuck was also having some pretty good matches with Finlay. Big fan of both guys. A shame they get released, yet Santino is on my TV every week. -
KANERULESFAN is way overrated. The Santino Marrella of TSM, if I may be so bold as to use a wrestling reference down in these parts.

Dexter is going to end up killing Miguel Prado before the season is done, right?

That one must have come from Marney. I went over to Michelle Malkin's site after McCain conceded to see what her freaks were saying, and somebody actually called it "the saddest day in the history of our country."

Whatever network the show is on is advertising it as the season's #1 comedy. Anybody know if that is true?

http://www.amctv.com/originals/madmen/ I'm going to guess nobody else watched this show, as I haven't seen any comments on it. The season finished up a few weeks ago, and AMC is replaying the run starting tonight. The show has already been picked up for a 2nd season, so don't be concerned that it'll be a waste of time investing interest in the show. If you've been underwhelmed w/ the big networks' new fall shows, do yourself a favor and check out Mad Men. It has justifiably been getting buzz as the best new show of the season. What else? Lots of drinking, lots of smoking, (extramarital) sex, practically every main character harboring a secret (the payoff to Don Draper's secret is AWESOME), "male chauvinism" galore, and a smoking hot redhead. Check the show out, I guarantee you'll be hooked.

WWE General Discussion-November 2008
Spaceman Spiff replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
Pretty sure he means Big Davey Meltz. -
I went most of that game thinking I had predicted 72, so I was doing mental calculations for the rest of the game's scoring. I ended up checking in the 4th, and suddenly rooting for more scores.

Texas Tech should've went for 2 at the end. Not to mention Texas should've kicked the PAT at the end of the 3rd quarter. Thanks for costing me a win, guys.

WWE General Discussion - October 2008

The Miz is going to be 1 of the guests on Ghost Hunters Live tonight on the SciFi Channel. I don't think he can top the awesomeness of Elijah Burke from last year. -
2008 World Series: Philadelphia Phillies vs. Tampa Bay Rays
Spaceman Spiff replied to Bored's topic in Sports
I've been alive for previous championships, but was a little too young to remember/appreciate them (5 in '80 for the Phillies, 8 in '83 for the 76ers), so this is the 1st I've actually seen live. Confession time - I thought the Phillies should've traded Cole Hamels before he made it to the bigs (and I might have said it on these boards). This was back when he kept getting arm injuries in the minors, and I just thought he'd never pan out as a big-league pitcher, so I wanted them to trade him while he still had value. Looks like I was a little off on that assessment. As for the player I'm happiest for, I'll have to go w/ Pat Burrell. He's had an up & down career, but he managed to come around these last 1.5 seasons, and finally came through w/ a huge hit in what is likely his last at-bat as a Phillie. I always liked Pat, even when he was barely hitting above .200. -

There's a touch pad on the guitar neck below the normal buttons. You can play notes via the touch pad or buttons. I'll probably put this on my Christmas list.
