Survey says: OJ! Not guilty of murder, and not guilty of solicitation of murder. Hopefully he'll team up w/ OJ to track down the real killers.

The latest twist in the Schiavo case.......
Spaceman Spiff replied to NoCalMike's topic in Current Events
Huh? -
Bruce Willis is dead in "Sixth Sense".

Man, tonight's SD was a pretty good night wrestling-wise. Angle/Marty was damn good for a TV match, London/Kidman was decent, and the ME tag was pretty good.
-
Actually I think it was the other way around. Not that it matters or anything. I think you're correct. On both counts.
-
It's never been explained. I think Show threw out a challenge, Akebono accepted (never shown, but I think somebody said it).

May 24th.

He's over & he sells merchandise, so there's no need to change it up now. Obviously, the gimmick won't work if he keeps it up for 5 years, but you cross that bridge when you come to it. Wait until the fans start cooling off on him before you change it up and/or turn him heel. Promo-wise, he seems to have dropped the poop/gay jokes, which is a big plus. His last few promos have been about bringing the fight as opposed to making lame jokes about his opponents. Whether that was Cena's choice, or creative's, it was a much needed modification to his character that should help him as he moves into the ME's.

EH
-
Stop right there. Your opinion just became meaningless. And if he did impress me, I would've paid closer attention. As it was, I started watching, said "eh", then checked on the match periodically.
-
Yes he was. I think you're the only one on the entire internet not impressed, Mole. I wasn't impressed, either. Granted, I was only half paying attention to the match, but I did see a couple crappy-looking dropkicks by Marty, and the blown kip-up. I'd have no problems if we never saw Marty again after SD. As for SD, London/Kidman, Angle/Marty, and the ME could all be fun. Should be a decent show.

If Luke knew who Anikan really was
Spaceman Spiff replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Television & Film
I don't think so. Yoda nor Obi-Wan nor Mace nor any other Jedi mention/hint at the fact that they would know. As for the personal assistant question, Palpatine could be using Anakin as the Republic's delegate to the Jedi council. -
Why not? Shouldn't they keep Angle looking strong going into the match? Who's going to give Angle a shot to beat HBK if Angle struggles w/ Jannetty? Plus, if Angle looks weak, then HBK looks weak in beating Angle (if that is the plan). The match really shouldn't go longer than 5 minutes (max). Marty gets some token offense in, but Angle cheats to turn the tide, then destroys him. There's really no need to protect Marty.

Who, exactly, wrote the book of love? I think there may be some plagiarism issues.

You should have asked for his autograph after he got done paying. "Dude, Edge, can I get a scribble?"

Must've missed that memo. ::fires perosnal assistant::

Serious question: how long does it take for paper to go from used->recycled->"new" paper compared to how long it take to plant a tree & then harvest it for paper (and whatever else)? I'd imagine it'd take at least 20 years (that's a guess on my part, could be more/less [i'd bet on more]) for a tree to grow to the point that it's be suitable to be harvested. In that time, how much recycled paper could be generated (and regenerated)? And how much does the recycling process cost, compared to: buying trees, planting them, cutting them down, transporting them, and then processing them into paper (among other things)?

Benoit vs. Triple H on Raw tommorow night
Spaceman Spiff replied to iliketurtles's topic in The WWE Folder
Especially when you consider that Benoit is a 20-year ring veteran, in the ring w/ the "Cerebral Assassin", and he decides to turn his back on HHH to watch Flair spazzing out outside the ring. You would've thought he'd learned his lesson last year when he turned his back on HBK, only to eat the SCM for a loss. I thought that was the case the 1st time Benoit had HHH in the Crossface, where he kept it locked on when Flair jumped on the apron, but then he goes and releases it when Flair is getting escorted out by the ref. Pretty good match, otherwise. I can see the logic in HHH winning, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. -
http://corporate.wwe.com/investors/documen...Drivers_001.pdf Yeah, I jacked the link off SK's blog, but thought it'd be appropriate here, too, since people were waiting on the NWO buy-rate to see if JBL was finally getting over as a draw. By the looks of things, it doesn't look like it. Barely beat Taboo Tuesday, and looks to be somewhere around 200,000 (give or take a little). Anyone know if this is the final number? If so, hopefully the WWE gets the message that JBL isn't cutting it on top.

Ha ha ha - his wife. Oh, that's not the joke?
