I have no idea what you just said. Try speaking English next time

fanofcoils is, in fact, not a fan of coils. This inaccuracy renders his argument invalid.

Hey, why is Kidman losing to Chavo already? On SD, no less? Seems a bit quick for Kidman to do a (presumably) clean job to Chavo.

Throw it down, big man.

That is inaccurate, Dave Batista is 35, born January 18, 1969. Eh, I'm off a year, big deal. The point still stands that he's already in his mid-30's, so Vince isn't likely to build around a new guy who is already "old".

WWE Notes On Hogan, Ratings, OVW Talant, Lawsuit,
Spaceman Spiff replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Even more reason I hope to never see Hogan back in the WWE. -
It's got a beat, and you can dance to it. Seriously though, I dug the first 2 songs, the last was kinda "eh".

ABC apologizes for steamy Monday Night intro
Spaceman Spiff replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Sports
I have a hard time believing the NFL didn't know what ABC had planned. And I have an even harder time believing the Eagles didn't know what was planned. Hmm, Owens & a "naked" Nicolette Sheridan, filmed in the Eagles lockerroom, I wonder what that wacky ABC has planned... OMG WE'RE OURAGED! -

Probably issues w/ Holly, JBL, Taker for stuff like not shaking Droz's hand (Taker) or "WCW guy taking my spot" (JBL, Holly).

Maybe age had something to do with it? I believe Dave is currently 36, so you figure he was around 33/34 when he got called up to play Deacon Batista on SD. He'd be about 34/35 when he gets put in Evolution. I guess Vince didn't want to spend all the effort on a guy who's already in his mid-30's and (at the time) injury-prone, as opposed to a guy in his mid-20's (who was also injury-prone).

OaO Fantasy Football Advice Thread

Curtis Martin @ Cleveland? Or Willis McGahee home against St. Louis? I've got Martin as the starter right now, but giving hard thought to putting in McGahee. Edgerrin is my other starter. And for informational purposes, I also have Rudi Johnson (home against Pitt), and Michael Pittman (home against SF) on the bench. I don't think Rudi will do too much against Pitt, and Pittman is too inconsistant, so I'm not even thinking about playing them. -
Actually, he broke his pelvis during a match w/ Funk. He was actually able to finish the match, but you could tell he was in a ton of pain.

Kurt Angle vs. Daniel Puder: The Whole Story
Spaceman Spiff replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
What is? Really, how many angles are that hot? This one was gift-wrapped to them, whether they could cash in on it was another situation. That's the point - they were handed a gift and couldn't/wouldn't recognize the big potential it contained. They pushed Snitsky hard because he got "baby killer" chants, and the guy is horrible, but it seems to be working. Why not jump all over the Puder/Angle story and see where it goes? -
re: Stamboli/FBI The FBI could have gotten over had they continued to do the backstage comedy bits w/ Stamboli & Nunzio. They started to get over as faces on Velocity for a couple months, but they were never given a chance on SD to get any momentum going. Plus, when they did make SD, they'd flip-flop from heel to face depending on who they were facing. FBI could have made a pretty good opening act team. He had a goofy kind of charisma going for him (witness the stuff w/ Nunzio), and was pretty athletic (I've seen him jump to the top turnbuckle after getting a few running steps). And thanks for posting these S_D

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot
Spaceman Spiff replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
IIRC, Asya was the "nurse" when Flair was in the mental hospital. Flair broke out of the hospital (I think) w/ some of his fellow patients, and Asya came along with them. How she transitioned from that role to a member of the roster, I forget, but I do remember her being the nurse in the hospital. -

Are you sure about that nl? I mean, Miami might find a way to lose on the bye week. I mean, it IS possible. Quiet, you.

Yeah, some "homerun". They got the gift of gifts by the crowd chanting "baby killer" at him, then just booked him strong. Creative really busted their asses on that one.

What QB's are coming out in the draft this year? I'd take a look at the Leinart (sp?) kid from USC, as well as look at bringing in a vet like Kitna.

They ripped off Triple Play '97 (whichever one had the ad for "refreshing Iced Gravy!").
