Some great stuff there. This movie can't come soon enough. Tarkin! Darker & moodier than ESB? Awesome.

Was anyone really shocked at the Maven win? I mean, immediately after he slapped Batista, I said to myself "fluke roll-up win by Maven". People have been watching the WWE for how long, and didn't see that coming from 10 miles away?
-
OK, that's pretty understandable. That was a pretty dumb move by Knoble. I'm pretty stoked that they'll (supposedly) be bringing him back, hopefully sooner rather than later.
-
Hmm, I think I'll check out Benoit/Palumbo.

Aren't PA unions rather weak anyway? The area of PA I'm in seems very pro-union, but in the past unions have often backed away from supporting strikes. Plus Krogers and Country Market have pulled out of the state. You obviously don't live near Philly. Unions are pretty strong in the city. There was genuine concern that "Real World" might have pulled out of Philly because of issues w/ unions. The Convention Center is another example.

There's certainly enough guys who are decent enough and/or entertaining/over enough to be used effectively. Helms, Rhyno, Tajiri, Stevie, Venis, Chuck, Rosey would fall into at least 1 of those categories. To do nothing with any of them, while the midcard is in shambles, is pathetic.

What were you saying about irrelevant topics? "The left doesn't like Bush" isn't exactly a breaking news story. Those quotes were good for a chuckle, but other than that, the purpose of posting this is...?

So, people like Austin, Rock, Hogan, Flair, etc. (basically any super-over #1 guy who held the belt) should have never been champ?

Montana was a pretty good all-around athlete. I believe there was a Sports Illustrated article back in the day that showed him dunking a basketball, so he was pretty athletic. Marino, after a couple years, was nowhere near as mobile as Montana, even into Montana's later years. I think Marino might be #2, but I could be wrong.

AoO brought this up in this week's "kkk Pick 'Em" thread. Here's their remaining schedule: Sun. Oct. 24 - St. Louis Mon. Nov. 1 - @NY Jets Sun. Nov. 7 - Arizona Sun. Nov. 21 - @Seattle Sun. Nov. 28 - @San Francisco Sun. Dec. 5 - Buffalo Sun. Dec. 12 - @Denver Mon. Dec. 20 - New England Sun. Dec. 26 - Cleveland Sun. Jan. 2 - @Baltimore I say they at least beat Buffalo, with the possibility they luck out another win along the way. Maybe Arizona, although they really haven't been a push-over this season. Sorry, Slayer, they will not go 0-16.

It's good, and the Eagles win 34-31.
-
50 yd. FG attempt by Akers coming up. Browns take a time-out.
-
Browns (apparently) going for it on 4th down at around midfield. 4th and 1. Maybe not. The tried to draw the Browns offside, and Garcia just took a time out. Looks like a punt, now.
-
Wow, 2 VERY weak "roughing the passer" penalties late in the Browns/Eagles game. 1 came on 4th down against the Eagles, to keep the Browns final scoring drive alive, and 1 against the Browns to give the Eagles an extra 15 yards for their unsuccessful Hail Mary. Going into OT and...the Eagles win the toss.
-
Browns tie the Eagles at 31 with about 30 seconds left.
-
Thank you, St. Louis.

I feel you Slayer I'm torn between my hate for Mike Martz and my want for the Dolphins to finish 0-16.

What, you think this is some kind of graphics folder?

Might as well add in the 2nd Knoble/London Velocity match, too. Not as good as the 1st, but after re-watching it, I ended up liking it a bit more than I did after it originally aired. The 2 Velocity Knoble/London matches are really good (as well as the Rey/Knoble match from Velocity). It's a shame not many people saw them. It went 10:17. Their 2nd encounter went 7:05, and Rey/Knoble went 11:15.
