Really? It was in the latest Star Wars Insider magazine.

Message board humiliation? I think he's taken care of that himself already.

Bumped since I didn't want to start a new thread: Release date for Episode III is May 19, 2005.

Isn't Waltman's neck messed up? If so, why bring back a guy with a bum neck? Even healthy, I wouuldn't take him back.

Phillies fans could have told you this when he was hired. As a matter of fact, I believe we did.

More WWE ideas: Kane, Hurricane, more!
Spaceman Spiff replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in General Wrestling
One of them needs to be a wrestling mime. -
On the contrary, I think his stuff w/ Cena has been his best matches in quite a while. Both those guys mesh well, and have been having very entertaining matches, and Book looks to have regained some of his fire.

More Trouble for WWE with Diva's Contest

Except not. -
How exactly would one pronounce it? "pwinned"? "poned"?

I don't get the Trish bashing. She helped present it because she (wrongly) thought it would be good for the company. It still had to fly w/ Dunn & Vince, it's not like Trish single-handedly made the decision. She murdered someone's push? Please. You can criticize her for thinking it would be a good idea, but anything past that is really reaching. -
At least you have your legacy now.

1 more thing - where's Charlie Haas? He hasn't been on either Velocity or SD the last 2 weeks. Pushing Haas would be 100x better than the Heidenreich push we're going to be burdened with. Hell, gimme Jindrak over Heidenreich if they want to push a new heel. Jindrak was getting over and getting better in his Velocity matches. Sure, it was a Lex Luger rip-off, but it was working for him.

Call me when Angle starts sleeping w/ Bruce Pritchard. Yep, Knoble's stll here. He had 2 fantastic Velocity matches this year (vs. London, vs. Rey). He's also been rocking a bad-ass Tiger Driver lately.

Like Spike is the guy I want to see battle Rey, as opposed to Chavo or Knoble I guess we better get ready for Spike Dudley: Cruiser Champ. On the plus side, Knoble's back injury doesn't seem to be serious. Looks like a down week after 2 good/watchable shows.

Big deal. Just blur him out of everything.
-
Big deal. He throws some money in, gets a small % of ownership, and won't be making any big decisions. Mostly as an investment & prestige thing.

I'd put money on Carolina before I would on either Balt. or GB. Those teams may have an easier time making the playoffs, but I know they're not good enough to make the SB. Carolina is coming off a SB year, and assuming it wasn't a fluke, I'd feel better throwing down $$$ on them rather than 2 weak teams making the playoffs from bad divisions.

I wouldn't exactly call Paul Abbott a solution to anything. I mean, yeah, he's a stopgap, but he has no business on a team competing for first. IIRC, Padilla and Wolf were hurt, plus Telemaco (who would normally be a fill-in starter). Seeing as they don't want to bring up a young guy yet, they had to get someone to fill in. Padilla & Telemaco are still hurt, and they're still reluctant to bring up a young guy, so that's why he's still there.

Pro-Orton bias? Never thought I'd see the day.

The Pack, Ravens, Broncos, and Rams have no business being ahead of the Panthers. -Pack - aging QB, suspect D, RB who fumbles a lot, average WR's. Severely overrated here. -Ravens - no QB -Broncos - lost Portis, OK D, Plummer isn't a big time NFL QB (or at least big enough to get to a SB) -Rams - Faulk's status?, very inconsistent QB, average D I'd even bump the Cheifs down (great O, but D is nothing special). Pats & Eagles are the clearcut faves (and I hate them both), but after that it's a toss up.

The best moves or plays in video games
Spaceman Spiff replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in Video Games
That sounds like Karelin's finisher from VPW2. I gave that to my CAW in that game, but I wasn't aware (or maybe I just forgot) that it was in No Mercy.
