I'd be a bit unnerved to see OJ come running up to me screaming something.

Philly (currently - who's winning or losing can make a big difference in the rankings): 1) Eagles - probably because they've done great the last 3-4 years. Not being a fan of the team, it gets on your nerves during the season 2) Phillies - addition of Thome & Wagner, resurgence of Burrell, high expectations for the team, new ballpark. 3) Flyers - made a run in the playoffs 4) 76ers - they were big when they made the finals in 2001, but it's been downhill since then. If you did this list in 2001, the 76ers would be #2.

You wish.

From the 5/31 Observer (we have a thread on page 2, which is where I jacked this) Bruce Prichard is seriously getting on my nerves. It's one thing if you eliminate the "division" (such as it is) and give the guys something to do in the midcard, but they'll all/most just become jobbers. At least with the division you can spotlight a few of the guys. Eliminating the division just screams "we're too lazy to come up with anything" to me.

"Sometimes Vince Does Things to be nice"
Spaceman Spiff replied to Vanhalen's topic in The WWE Folder
Buying WCW wasn't "being nice". He got some more talent, plus the tape library, for a veritable steal. That was purely a money/profit decision. -
Meh.

WCW's interest in Taker wasn't that great since he wouldn't have been able to bring the Undertaker gimmick with him. I'm sure they would have liked to get him, but without the gimmick, interest was severely lessened.

Shut up and talk about me If I do the former, I can't do the latter.

There's only 1 "s" in "tenaciously".

You're telling me. I'm on pins & needles here. He can't get verified quick enough.

Mandy Moore is back on the open market? Sa-weet.

...to join a curling league. You forgot that part. There's nothing more satisfying than getting your rocks closest to the "T" in the house.

Fuck Bob Holly. He doesn't deserve jack-shit, and should consider his no-talent ass lucky he still has a job. I'd laugh my ass off if Holly gets fired.

TV shows that lost their "place in history"
Spaceman Spiff replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Television & Film
Season 6 of X-Files had some great episodes, IMO. -"Dreamland 1 & 2" - 2 parter of Duchovny/Michael McKean switching bodies -"Triangle" -"How the Ghosts Stole Christmas" -"Monday" - "Groundhog Day" type episode -"Arcadia" - trash monster, Mulder & Scully undercover as "Rob & Laura Petrie" -"The Unnatural" -"Three of a Kind" -
The high point of Edge's career for me was ripping off NewsRadio. He's never really done anything special for me. His smart-ass heel stuff was good, but face Edge I find pretty boring.

Grrr.... Only a matter of time before Roberto Hernandez blew it. Madson coughing up the HR surprised me, though.

Knoble jobbed during the mixed tag on SD last week, plus a couple singles losses to Spike, as well. There may be a 4th somewhere in there, but don't hold me to that.
-
He's beaten Knoble at least 3 times already. I just hate Spike.
-
One more thing - why the hell is Spike picking up wins left & right? He couldn't buy a win on Raw, but he's Mr. Unbeatable on SD.
-
He's the tallest, so technically he's the "biggest heel on the roster".
-
It's just a popularity contest anyway, and many times stats don't bear out selections.

It's spelled Alasdair here Not quite as early an episode as I was hoping for, but it did have Alanis Morrisette. I had a huge crush on her when she was on the show.
