I knew I shouldn't trust SK for accurate information. Oh well, since I don't have the funds to get Puro tapes, I have to go by whatever I hear and read. I'm pretty sure Keith didn't come up w/ the concept for the scale himself. That's what I was going to mention. That was just nasty - he'd wipe off his face w/ a towel, and then his face would be drenched again in blood. I believe he lost something 30% of his blood.

If you remember back then, there were reports that Vince still thought Raw was the better show, even when SD was consistently beating Raw every week in ratings & quality.

Forget PPV, how about on regular TV? The last match of his that I'd call good was against Angle on SD about 2 years ago. Throw in a decent one against Jericho around the same time, and that's ~2 years since he's had any good matches. That's because for most of that time he's either been being depushed or it too busy squashing people with his new gimmick to actually work a credible match. Or, it's because he's not a very good wrestler. Generic big man offense, awful top rope "clothesline", and bad punches. His mic skills & acting have been very good, but in the ring he's just boring.

Wuh? John Cena, mat skills, and pure wrestler should never be mentioned in the same sentence. John Cena would be low on the list of guys w/ mat skills. Haas should be getting a mid-card push, but I wouldn't be pushing him into the ME scene. He should definitely get a US Title reign before the year is out, though.

Kane winning the title at Badd Blood wouldn't make sense from a storyline standpoint. Kane is coming off: -jobbing at WM -jobbing to Edge -quasi-feuding with a jobber (Mattitude) -backing into the title shot -not even hanging around the ME scene in a long time He's done nothing in the last 2-3 months. There needs to be more of a build to give him the belt. Personally, I wouldn't ever stick the belt on him, since I find him incredibly boring. Plus, the Benoit title reign is doing well, so I see no need to upset the apple cart now. Barring any unforseen changes, HHH will be taking the belt off Benoit. My personal "mark-out" choice - Chuck Palumbo!

I'm pretty sure the only time I beat Tyson was by decision. And Soda Popinski was a piece of cake. Knocked that sucka out the 1st time I faced him. I always have trouble timing Bald Bull's bull charge, but other than that, Super Macho Man and Tyson are the only guys I have/had trouble with.

A few years ago, they had those "chicks dig the long ball" commercials featuring Tom Glavine & (I think) Greg Maddox. I flipped over to a Braves game (forget who they were playing), and Glavine was batting, so I turned to my brother and said "chicks dig the long ball." Sure enough, Glavine knocked one out.

Oh, snap!

Mortis would sell and lose matches.

No. *Especially* if he brings Lex with him.

-The easiest thing to do was put him in a tag team. Both Raw's and SD's tag scenes were pretty pathetic at the time, and they pulled back on pushing O'Haire, so they could have teamed up the 2 of them on either show to fill out the division. Kanyon does most of the work, and O'Haire brings the power moves. -They could have stuck him in the midcard (on either show) under the Mortis gimmick as a trial run to see what happens. If he connected, then give him a little push. They tried it with guys like John Heidenreich and Matt Morgan (and are giving guys like Mordecai & Kenzo a shot now), and Kanyon is several steps up from them, so it could have been worth a shot. It's not like they needed to give him a ME-level push. He'd be the perfect midcard guy - cool moves, comfortable on camera & on the mic, can do comedy, bumps great. It's too bad he's not around now, as SD's reportedly going to be gimmick driven - Mortis would have been a perfect fit.

Fire Rick Adelman. Most overrated coach not named "Don Nelson".

NHL on NBC? Y'know what that means? Peter Puck!

I guess it's safe to say Pat Burrell is back this year. Hit his 3rd HR in the last 2 games tonight, batting .320+, around 10 HR's, 36 or so RBI's, and 1 fan-fucking-tastic full extension diving catch tonight.

Sandro can eat several gangrenous dicks. He/she obviously slept his/her way to the top.

There's no way I'm falling for this ploy.

I can be one of the less interesting cousins who fills in for you when you guys hold out for more money.

I've been really digging his tag stuff w/ Batista, however I wouldn't give him any kind of singles push/"final run". If he were to retire from active competition, I'd still keep him around as a manager/mouthpiece, since he's still good on the mic and can take bumps.
-
Considering he had to be hospitalized because of all the blood loss from the PPV not even 48 hours prior to this show, it's probably better to have him take it easy.
-
Someone should have tried to bunt his way on base. Hell, it was only a 2 run game. That guy gets on, maybe Randy gets shaken, and maybe the Braves could have generated some runs. Screw that "can't bunt to break up a no-hitter/perfect game" bullshit. Your job is to win the game, not protect the other team's (or pitcher's) feelings.

I find Kane insanely boring in the ring. Generic big man offense (big boot, side slam, chokeslam) combined with that crappy uppercut/throat thrust and horrible top rope clothesline and weak punches. I'll admit he's impressed me lately with his acting & mic skills, but in the ring I just can't stand him. How is London on the mic? Knoble cut a *great* backstage segment right before they brought in Nunzio for the cousin angle. Really showed some great emotion, and didn't use the uber-redneck accent. I haven't followed his indy stuff, so the only London mic work I've heard was as "El Gran Luchador", which I obviously can't use as an accurate appraisal of his mic skills.

Comcast Sportsnet Philly not to air Impact!
Spaceman Spiff replied to Styles's topic in TNA Wrestling
Well, that sucks. Looks like Xplosion! airs Monday nights at midnight, though (WGTW - channel 48). Stumbled across it last night.
