WWE wont let OVW wrestler fight TNA wrestler
Spaceman Spiff replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in The WWE Folder
The only reasoning I can come up with, is that they (WWE) don't want one of their guys to make a TNA guy look good in any way. I guess WWE views TNA as their closest competition (running PPV's, signing guys to TNA contracts), and thus don't want to help the "competition". Running the match would also give TNA reason to hype up one of their guys as "taking on the WWE". Nevermind that Colon has been in developmentals, and practically nobody has heard of him (unless they read rumors/dirtsheets). -
Greedo shooting first was a pretty big change.

Northeast Region 1 Eddy Guerrero 5 Ultimo Dragon 3 Rey Misterio Jr. 2 CM Punk Northwest Region 1 AJ Styles 5 Tajiri 3 Shawn Michaels 2 Kurt Angle Southeast Region 1 Shelton Benjamin 4 American Dragon 3 Chavo Guerrero Jr. 2 Brock Lesnar (I think this is the round where the recent Brock hatred kicks in & knocks him out) Southwest Region 1 Chris Jericho 4 Jamie Noble 3 Paul London 2 Christopher Daniels

That was a pretty sweet match, even if it was little more than a collection of spots. Really fun.

1) I *would* be surprised. As mentioned, he sells a bunch of merch. He may be a hothead, but we really haven't heard any stories about him since the Rodney Mack incident. Pretty sure he's not into drugs. He's kid-friendly. 2) The thing w/ Rey is, he's almost *too* popular for the cruiser division. He overshadows anyone else he goes up against. They need him to give the rub to a few people in the division, then move him into a permanent upper midcard slot. SD needs star power, and Rey is popular. Cena is going to move to the ME scene at some point, and having an over face like Rey in the US Title scene can do nothing but help. Plus, how many more times can they go back to Rey to challenge and/or win the belt?

Yeah, PJ's albums haven't sold a ton, but they did rank in the top 20 grossing tours of 2003. Source There's a lot of big names there, and considering PJ charge practically the lowest ticket prices possible for a "name" band (there's more than a couple performers here that charge *big bucks* for tickets), it's clear they aren't totally ignored by the public. And I liked Riot Act.

Yeah, I'm kinda bored. Anyway, Google up your TSM user name(s), and post the 1st pic that comes back. With quotation marks around the name: Without quotation marks:

John Cena Speaks On Brock, His CD, Hip-Hop, More
Spaceman Spiff replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Correction - the rest of the show is leading SD to all time ratings lows. Eddy's title reign is just along for the ride. WWE officials need to look at the rest of the show before they panic & take the belt off Eddy. Putting it on Cena without changing anything else isn't going to improve anything. -
But if it works, why ignore it? The Hurricane gimmick has run it's course, moving him to SD and turning him heel would freshen him up. Sting? Does the average WWE fan care about Sting? And the last thing they need is to push 40+ year old guy who won't work a full house show schedule who has been out of the wrestling public eye for years. As for Rey, they need to seriously think about moving him out of the CW scene and make him a permanent upper midcarder. A US Title reign at some point this year shouldn't be out of the question.

Ouch!

Let's see: -everyone knows Bradshaw isn't going to beat Eddie -Spike Dudley has been one of the guys SD has focused on -the 2 main tag teams are staler than year-old bread -no Brock -Angle in the GM role and not wrestling (not anyone's fault, but still...) -the brand itself is treated second-rate compared to Raw It's no wonder the shows have been sub-par (and that's being generous, pre-draft I found pretty much every SD enjoyable), and the ratings are reflecting it.

Tell it to "sword fight". And telling him to "die" got a chuckle out of me. He also does shadow puppets.

1,2, JOHNNY ACE!

What's that mean? Stamboli didn't have (to my knowledge) a run of multiple injuries. I know he broke his pelvis in WCW, but I don't recall any other injuries that stockpiled after that.

Back in the early 80's (pre-WMI). Initially discovered the WWF, but pretty much watched any wrestling that was on TV (NWA, whatever promotions ESPN showed [primarily Von Erich's TX promotion, they may have also shown AWA stuff, but I could be wrong]). Nobody really hooked me in, I was just a kid & it looked neat. Some stuff I can claim to have seen: -seeing Magnum TA wrestle -seeing pre-WWF X-Pac wrestle as "Lightning Kid" -seeing Fritz Von Erich vs. King Kong Bundy, who had *HAIR* -Midnight Rockers pre-WWF Got out of wrestling around the late 80's. Got back into wrestling during the mid-90's. Caught ECW on late night TV, the nWo angle started up in WCW shortly thereafter, and I was hooked.
