That makes sense if there's another big promotion to jump to (like WCW). There's no competition, so there's no reason to fear 1 of your big Canadian names jumping ship w/ a/the belt.

Don't get me wrong, I'm digging the face push he's getting, and the cocky character is working.
-
Except that I'm older than you, and Pearl Jam is my favorite.
-
I'd be *so* into a Shelton heel run. He's got a cocky smile you just want to slap off his face.
-
I actually dug the spiky hair he was sporting towards the end of WCW.
-
Then prepare for that to be beaten out of you.

This show need Palumbo, stat! -
How do you figure that? I could see saying PJ, since there were a couple members in MLB, but Nirvana?
-
It's only been a few years since Layne's. Plus, Kurt's was at a time when Nirvana was still pretty popular. Layne's came at a time when AIC was pretty much out of the public eye.

People who might be interested in the product, but don't want to spend the money on weekly PPV's? I haven't bought a single TNA event apart from the $.01 show, but if it were on Sunday nights for free, I'd definitely check it out.

What I would have liked to have seen: Kurt divorces Courtney, breaks up Nirvana, and enters rehab. Cleans himself up, and because he's out of the public eye, he's able to stay clean. Maybe pump out some solo work. Pearl Jam was able to successfully slough off the casual fans, and pretty much just focus on their core fans. Nirvana *could* have tried to do that, but I don't know if it would have worked. Kurt would have still been the focus, which wouldn't have been conducive to cleaning himself up.

Like, for instance, this quote. "Semper," not "sempter."

Haven't they been hyping the Triple Threat as the penultimate meeting between HHH and HBK? Shelton would get lost in the shuffle between the HHH/HBK, HHH/Benoit, HBK/Benoit stories. -
I think Funaki can speak English well enough. He's been living in Texas for a while now, so I imagine he's got a handle on the language.

Surely *this* will be the week where the Chuck Palumbo Era begins. -
I loved Tony saying "where's the kid's self control?" when he heard about Christopher's drunken exploits. Like he's one to talk about self control

Was that a pic of Alan Alda towards the end of Kyle's "Passion" nightmare? -
So, so boring. He's been on the roster for about a year now, and has had no angles, no stories, no real reason for being on the main roster, other than being trained by Rocky Johnson. Ooooh. Also, all the WCW buy-out guys would job to him (a big sticking point for me), especially Kanyon, who did something like 5 jobs to Jordan. Plus, in my mind, he's taking a roster spot that could have went to Kanyon.
