The "bitchcakes" episode is on right now. This must be Edge's favorite episode, seeing as he must have gotten the inspiration for "Billy Bitchcakes" from this episode. Also, Lisa refers to Dave as her "lover", prompting Beth to ask "how often do you make love to your lovah?" Pretty damn similar to the Will Ferrell/Rachel Dratch characters on SNL. Did either one get the idea from this episode? Hmm.....

And, really, isn't that the best reason to amend the Constitution? -
OK, so: 1) catchphrase - Booker's was a WCW catchphrase, too, and they don't seem to have a problem using it. 2) accent/lisp - Lita, anyone? Jeff Hardy got mic time. Didn't seem to affect them. His look? Kane ain't exactly Brad Pitt. Kanyon's comfortable talking, so if they're concerned about the lisp, keep his mic time to a minimum, or stick him w/ a manager. It's not like they'd push him as a ME'er, so it's not like he'd be all over TV every week. 3) the "big moves and near falls" in dark matches - yeah, can't be entertaining. He hardly got used as it was, so he had to make the most of his time to get noticed. 4) good matches and great reactions - that's more than a lot of people on the roster can say. (yes, I'm *still* ticked about Kanyon's release)

That's another thing - if "civil union" will grant the same exact rights as a hetero marriage, then what is the point of an Amendment? Just to stop people from calling it a marriage? -
I'd take this bet in a heartbeat, for any amount of money. There is absolutely, positively, no way in hell this will happen.

You'd run into problems when Raw & SD aren't close to each other (i.e. Raw is on the W. Coast and SD is in Florida). I doubt they'd want to be flying him back & forth just for a low card angle. I'd just put Helms back on SD full time. Sugar Shane, pretty boy dick heel.

And wasn't it reported he was saving the company around $50,000 - $75,000 per year by doing this? And heaven forbid he make his life easier for himself. Whatever. -
What the hell is the point of this? You'd think they'd at least have Holly pick up the pin instead of Orlando the WCW Buy-Out Killer. With the tag scene in such bad shape, they should be keeping as many full time teams as strong as possible, instead of jobbing them to a random pairing. Blah. Too Cool vs. APA? Ouch. Looks like a lackluster SD. Hopefully it'll come off better on TV than it sounds.

Sorry I just don't buy it. We are talking two consenting adults vs. Child Abuse here. And at the moment it is just that: a decision between consenting adults. My point, though, is that allowing for a broader interpretation of marriage will lead to just more than marriage between consensual adults. It will open the way for polygamistic and even pedophilic marriages. If there is no legal definition of marriage, then an adult could marry their offspring (even if an adult) and legally sue for the right to have that marriage recognized. Pedophilia is not between consenting adults. So, no, gay marriage does not open the door to legalized pedophilia. -

OMG! Men marrying dogs! Women marrying toaster ovens! Men marrying 7-year old boys! OMG! OMG! Simple solution - "marriage = union between 2 legally consenting adults." Throw in some language to nullify incestuous relationships. What influence, exactly, do they have over society? I'm sure an overwhelming majority of the country was in favor of black people being slaves back in the early days of our country. I guess that made it right, too. -

Won't somebody think of the children?! Allowing gay marriages harms families how? -
Well, if I hadn't done anything of note over those many years, I would understand why I hadn't advanced. (Bradshaw is another story - he's from Texas, bah gawd. You don't mess w/ Texas, or so goes the scuttlebutt.) Bradshaw drew? When?

I've yet to figure out how allowing gay marriage will destroy our society. And, really, changing the Constitution to take away rights from a particular group of American citizens is *very* unsettling. Who or what does gay marriage harm? Nobody and nothing. So to change the Constitution to discriminate against them is ridiculous. -
But...but...it's THE DEADMAN~! THE DEADMAN~! THE DEADMAN~!~!~!~1`!`~!@!!@#@# Yeah, I'm not really looking forward to his return, either.

Especially Molly. She was the champ, so I don't get having her make a quick exit. She's had the belt since I-don't-know-when, so the quick exit is pretty anticlimactic. The final 2 should have been Molly & Vicky. Molly gets a cheap win, and Vicky chases the title to WMXX, where she picks up the win.

Being a good little boy leaves the door open to a possible return (long- or short-term). Being the only promotion in America that could pay him what he's "worth", I would think he'd be smart enough not to shut that door. -
I believe Holly turned 41 just after the Rumble.
