Gannon put up 4,689 yards in 2002, a full 400 yards off the record. I still don't see anybody breaking that record.

WWE Films Considering Movie For Austin
Spaceman Spiff replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Hmmm, this means HHH, Kane, and Austin would be off TV for extended periods of time.... ...that's fine w/ me! -
Miami Dolphins QB - I like Fiedler. He's tough, a leader, smart, mobile, which would be fine except for the fact that he throws interceptions at inopportune times. The Ravens showed you don't need a stud QB to win the SB, but Fiedler can be erratic at times. Maybe Ben Roethlisberger will be available? I don't see Griese as the answer. WR - Chambers is great, but need someone to compliment him. Derrius Thompson was supposed to be a big free-agent pick up from the Redskins, but it didn't pan out. Oronde Gadsden is a decent possession WR, but we need someone to take the pressure off Chambers. O-Line - Need some depth. Head Coach - ::sigh::

Ha! Yeah, good thing they put that disclaimer in the credits.
-
Wow, killer road schedule.
-
I happen to like Jay Fiedler, but I also realize he's not the guy to bring a SB title. On the bright side, the Dolphins will be hiring a GM.
-
And Dave Wannstedt gets a 2-year extension. ::sigh::

Marino has the 2nd highest total, as well (44). Kurt Warner passed for 41 in 1999. Any reason you didn't include his single-season yardage record, as well? To break it, a QB would need to average 318 yards/game for the entire season. Kurt Warner came the closest (in 2001), but he still fell 254 yards short.
-
That's the point of doing it.
-
You are ridiculous, kid "You tapped out" is the same as "shave your back"? Ri-dic-u-lous.
-
Eli Manning? Boo....I like Doug Flutie. Such a waste of talent.......*shakes head* Flutie?! And forego Manning? Flutie is what, 40+ years old? Chargers aren't going anywhere with Flutie even if Flutie was in his prime.

I don't know what shows you were watching, but Lesnar was getting big pops for throwing Big Show around like he was nothing, and just getting big face pops in general. And he's over as a heel now. He's getting "you tapped out" chants, and drawing legit. heel heat.
-
The fans can't relate to Lesnar? He was pretty damn over as a face. And he does not suck on the mic. He's not a Flair or Rock or Austin or Hogan, but he's improved a lot since last year, to the point where he doesn't need a Heyman or Vince to talk for him. Lesnar a failure? Please. Start naming names. Jericho, Benoit, and Guererro would probably do about as well as Lesnar has been doing. The fact is nobody is drawing right now for the WWE. Plugging these guys in at the top isn't going to make a huge difference. RVD? Don't think so.
-
Nor his 5,084 yards passing in a season.
-
"Oh, poor Benoit. Stephanie has to give him a shot, because he can't earn it on his own. Yay for Stephie! Our hero!" That's why.

Yeah, VPW2 came out before No Mercy and after WM2000, and it *is* better, IMO. More hidden legends, mask editor, shoot fighting, talking ring announcer, for instance. Great game play, also. Misawa practically = Goldberg from Revenge. As for where to get it (and converter), check out some online video game importers. The only games I've bought through importers were VPW1 & VPW2, so I wouldn't know where to point you. Google search. Also, check eBay. There's usually a couple for sale on there (try "virtual prowrestling 2" as well as "virtual pro wrestling 2"). Usually they don't come w/ a converter, so you may still need to find an importer for that.

I thought if you were contracted as a wrestler, then you couldn't work Indies. Jerry Lawler and Al Snow are contracted announcers, so they can. I think there was a news item about this months ago. The WWE allows lower-card workers to take indy dates (w/ approval from the WWE, I think) to make extra money.

So what? People still have to pay to see Bob Holly fight for the title. There's quite a few of us here who are attending the Rumble (me, included). Think about how *we* feel. I'm paying $60+ per ticket for ME's of Brock/Holly and HHH/Kane.

Dusty Rhodes wants credit for Flair DVD
Spaceman Spiff replied to OldSchoolWrestling's topic in The WWE Folder
Well, Hall & Nash we're doing pretty well on their own. Adding Hogan just made it even better. -
Wannstedt given an extension through 2005? Whoopde-fuckin'-do. We gotta suffer through 2 more seasons of this guy? Blah.
-
Here's an update from TVShowsOnDVD.com. Good news is that we're still getting it, the bad news is the date is still unknown.

If that strategy is good enough for Vince McMahon, it's good enough for us.

"...who is very likely to be found guilty" - gee, ya think? He should have went the whole nine yards and called him "Mr. Bin Laden". I think I almost dropped my dinner plate when I heard/saw that.
-
What the fuck? He's most likely in the UK, where it's already released.
