Random thoughts: --Holly's performance tonight doesn't bode well for a possible PPV ME. He looked sooooooo rusty. --Chuck looked pretty stiff in there w/ Benoit. Not really a bad match, quality-wise, but I don't get Benoit being on defense pretty much the entire match just a few weeks after almost beating Lesnar. Shouldn't they keep him looking strong? Thank you, Mr. Obvious. Hey! --Nidia did a pretty good acting job backstage w/ Rey. Knoble as a heel works better than Knoble as a face. --Liked Lesnar's post-match stuff stuff after beating Shannon. "I could have faced...Shannon Moore! Or, it could have been...Shannon Moore." ::dumps out tumbler:: "Shannon Moore...Shannon Moore...Shannon Moore." --the 4-way tag match wasn't bad once Scotty & Rikishi weren't on offense. Rikishi is so bloated, and Scotty just looked "blah". Wasn't feeling Scotty playing 1-man wrecking crew for most of the beginning.

That is the most, STUPID, ASANINE statement I've read here for awhile, and I've even read the new HHHate threads. I don't know man, that comment was made in an attempt to be too smarkish or something. It was just dumb as fucking hell. Have you seen the pops Holly has gotten since his return? Have you seen the heat Brock has gotten over the past few weeks? So, do tell, HOW will Brock Lesnar get cheered over Holly? The fans have no problem with this angle, the only people who do post here. Hmmmmmmm, why am I not surprised? This folder is a vapid wasteland of wrestling fans as talentless as the hosses they criticize. Just a bunch of poor man's Scott Keiths running around here I see. From SD spoilers: Granted, that is 1 guy's report, but I can't see Holly maintaining huge face heat. MSG turned on Rock in favor of Brock, and Holly is nowhere near as liked as Rock.

Yeah, it's not as good, which is why I said "next best thing" The Dolphins still have a shot at the playoffs (long shot, but still a shot), so it's not like they don't have anything to play for.

Psssh. It's the Bills. No problem. Sweeping the Bills is the next best thing to making the playoffs. I've actually picked the Dolphins every week so far.

Hey, Kanyon isn't jobbing to Orlando on Velocity! Hooray! Velocity looks good, save for Morgan/Funaki. As for SD, the 4-way tag looks decent, and Brock/Shannon could be fun. Also interested to see the Benoit/Palumbo match. There's absolutely no reason for Benoit to be anywhere near the FBI (who I happen to like), but it could be a decent match. Benoit should have destroyed the FBI post-match, however.

Isn't that (more or less) what Rock did to them, too? Castrated them on the mic, then single-handedly beat them both up? How did Rock put them over? Maybe Grenier was the weak link?

I was in the Comcast box for a 76ers/Celtics game a few years ago. Didn't get any free food/stuff, but there was a bar in the box where you could order food & drinks.

--Playing NHL '94 (I think, one of the ones for SNES) against my brother. Game is in OT, he's got the puck directly behind my net. He shoots (while still behind the net), and the puck goes through the back of the net (I'm assuming, since he never skated to the front) for a goal. I lose. --SMB3 - my brother's playing, and has Tanooki Mario. He drops into a pipe that has a Hammer Brothers suit. I tell him to jump & turn into a statue right before getting the Hammer Bros. suit. He does it, but he then becomes a totally gray Hammer Bros. Mario. Not only that, but he also can only jump 1/2 the normal height of a jump, and can't get out of the pipe. Since time doesn't run in the pipe, he has to reset the game. --This one I didn't witness 1st hand, but my buddies made sure to tape it on the VCR. The 1 guy is playing Triple Play '98 (I think, maybe it was '99) against the computer. His batter gets hit by a pitch, and then proceeds to stand perfectly still and "slide" up the 1st base line backwards (while still holding the bat). Then, after reaching 1st, he cuts across the infield (while still stiff as a statue and the bat in his hands) directly to 3rd base, where's he's tug out, and then suddenly springs to life & jogs back to the dugout.

Well, then you're left w/ no other choice but to convince Tina to get into the same costume the next time you're there in order to get a pic.

Also, according to Showtime's website, DLM will rerun starting Friday 1/2. It only has the schedule up through the end of Jan. (1 episode each Friday), but it is the 1st 5 episodes in order, so I'm sure they'll rerun the entire season. So, here's your chance to catch any episodes you missed, or turn some other people on to the show.

Rules for celebrations: 1) No "in your face" stuff (like what Damaru referenced) 2) No outside implements to aid in the celebration (i.e. no Sharpie pens, no cell phones, however TO grabbing the pom-poms is OK, since the cheerleaders have them on the field) 3) No 10 minute choreographed dance segments. Other than that, bring on the Worm, the Ickey Shuffle, "fun bunch", spike & sliiiiide, etc. (Joe Horn should have just treated the football like a cell phone, instead of having an actual phone)
