    When exactly is EP III

4 years? I wasn't even born when Empire came out, so that must of been torture back in the day. Way to make us feel old, Mole

    Good question

Eeesh, I'm not feeling that at all. That just makes Cena look like a complete joke. oh, admit it you'd laugh. And Cena would get his knocks in also. And in the end Cena would likely get the clean win too, and can rap about how he sent the Rock away again. Well, he'd have to do a hell of a lot better than reference Vanilla Ice for me to laugh. I find Rock's comedy to be often times over-rated (liked most of the stuff w/ Helms, though).

    A-Train on commentary.

I don't mind A-Train, but he wasn't very good on commentary last night. Tazz & Cole practically had to drag comments out of him, and even then he just stuck to the 1 idea (bigger than Benoit). I've seen better speaking segments w/ him.

    Mada's roster review

When you consider who was released in order to make room for him, you?d understand why he hasn?t been released. Who? Stamboli is fine tagging w/ Palumbo.

    OMG! TCR on Smackdown!

Is RAW intentionally worse than Smackdown?

That was so Austin could get the guy's ticket, enabling him to be ringside for the JR/Coach match.

Is RAW intentionally worse than Smackdown?

Shane was on Raw for at least 3-4 weeks leading up to No Mercy, plus Raw after. Come to think of it, he may have been on practically every Raw since his return (although, I could be wrong).

    The Women's Division

You take that back. I don't want JR/Lawler messing up the "good" show.

But Goldberg is still the *only* ME guy on Raw. Who's going to challenge him? Right now, his challengers are guys like Mark Henry who are only motivated by HHH's bounty, not by wanting the title. Kane is his only real ME heel challenger, and he's still tied up w/ Shane, not to mention they've all but killed off the mystique of his new character. Jericho is JTTS, as well as already having jobbed to Goldberg. Orton? "More on the way" - who? Sure fans notice - they notice "hey, these guys are nothing compared to Austin." Is that the perception you want to put out? IMO, Vince's interaction helped Brock get over as a heel recently. Really? Where is Test/Steiner going? Dudleyz have direction? Christian? RVD? Jericho? Sure, the heel/face lines may be drawn better on Raw, but nobody on the undercard is really doing anything. The women's division is really the only thing on the undercard w/ any sense of direction, but nobody truly cares about women's wrestling. It's all about T&A. Both show's undercards are poorly managed, but I'll take poorly managed + good matches over poorly managed + poor matches. I'm not saying SD doesn't have problems - it does. I just think Raw has bigger problems.

Is RAW intentionally worse than Smackdown?

While Goldberg is over, I think the fans still aren't completely sold on him. Witness the near-silence he got when on the mic last Raw. Also, HHH's reign killed off every face contender for the title except for Goldberg, and w/ de-facto top heel Kane involved w/ Shane, Goldberg is the *only* ME player on Raw. How is that better? After Goldberg, Raw's top 2 faces are both non-wrestlers (Austin & Shane). Jericho is used better? The same Jericho that jobbed to Nash, Steiner, Booker, etc., to set them up to be jobbed out to HHH? The same Jericho that is continually booked to be Austin's bitch? Jericho hasn't even sniffed the ME scene since he was the Undisputed Champ. Neither show's GM angles/skits are very good. While the Vince/Steph stuff is just horrid, at least they're not taking down wrestlers with them (yet). On Raw, *nobody* gets over on Austin. Jericho & Christian continually get bested by Austin. Why? Austin's going to get his big pops no matter what. Getting the better of Austin would do really help out Christian tremendously. But, hey, at least it's "entertaining". TWGTT, Eddy, Chavo, Cena, Tajiri, Rey, Benoit, A-Train have all had angles/feuds play out on SD lately. And the matches are a hell of a lot better than Test/Steiner or Dudz/Les Res.

    Smackdown Recaps on Velocity: Why?

Why do they recap Smackdown on Velocity? Seems like a waste of time to me. Consider: 1) SD was a mere 2 days prior. 2) They're only reaching a fraction of their normal viewers, most of whom have already seen SD (unlike Heat where the most recent Raw was almost a full week prior). Plus, at 10 PM on a Saturday night, if you're watching wrestling, you're already a big fan (and most likely have already seen SD). Is there a huge group of people watching Velocity that don't watch SD? Stopping the recaps isn't going to turn anybody off from watching Velocity. 3) The recaps don't tie into anything happening on Velocity. A better use for Velocity, IMO, would be to drop the SD recaps in favor of 1-2 more matches and/or mic time for guys. Treat it like SD's "minor leagues". Run angle/feuds w/ the lesser used guys and/or guys w/ nothing to do to get them over, moving them up to SD as warranted. Guys can get a chance to work on their gimmicks/characters. Also, you'd give guys a chance to gain experience on the mic, rather than throwing them on SD and expecting Austin-like mic prowess. As it is, Velocity is more-or-less a throwaway show. Angles/feuds hardly progress on Velocity, and the majority of matches are just 2 guys out there w/ no reason for a match. I know the general consensus is to make Velocity the "cruiser show", but I wouldn't limit it solely to that. Cruisers can be a big part, but you could build up guys for the US & Tag Team scenes. The SD roster has a bunch of talented guys sitting around w/ no direction (or, in some cases, no TV time), it just seems like Velocity would be a more productive way to use them. (I realize I'm not breaking any new ground here, just bored @ work)

    Pearl Jam new releases

For the few of you that care: From the Rumor Pit I don't have about 1/2 of the songs on the rarities CD, so that's a definite pick-up for me. The extras on the DVD also push it into the "must buy" category for me, too. Without the extras, I'd probably let it slide w/out getting it, especially considering they're supposed to release a DVD from the 2003 tour ala "Touring Band 2000".
