Thanks, Trevor Hoffman! I knew facing Colorado was going to be bad.

Yeah, unfortunately I think it's gonna be this seasons Studio 60 Bad show w/ unlikable characters in unrealistic situations that gets mercy killed?

No update, just an email from Nintendo about "Wiimote jackets" - protective covering for Wiimotes for those prone to dropping/throwing them. They will start to be packed in w/ Wii's & Wiimotes, but Nintendo is offering them for free to anyone who already has purchased a Wii. If you go to Nintendo's website, you can order up to 4 "jackets". http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/jacket/jacketrequest.jsp

Wimote jackets? Free stuff, but I think I'll pass on those.

OMG!

Go ahead, they're not mine. I swiped them from the Raw thread over at the DVDVR board.

Cena Injured Tonight (Out 6-12 Months)
Spaceman Spiff replied to PILLS! PILLS! PILLS!'s topic in The WWE Folder
It looked like it occured when Cena hiptossed Kennedy early in the match. Kennedy didn't get up very high, so I'm not sure if that was because of Cena getting hurt, or Kennedy messing up the move. -
Yeah, 1st .gif is the hard angle shot, followed by another angle from London's side of the ring (slowed down). 2nd .gif is that same shot from London's side of the ring (in regular replay speed). The 2nd .gif replay is the one I don't recall seeing. I did see the hard angle replay.
-
I remember the replay from the hard camera (i.e. the 1st half of that first video), which had London down in the corner, but I don't remember seeing the replay from London's side of the ring (the 2nd video).
-
Hmm, I don't recall my feed showing the replay of the SSP.
-
These shots of London's SSP were posted over at DVDVR. I'm guessing these must have been from the West Coast feed of the show, because the live airing didn't have the replays of the move.

What are the rules for lodging an official protest? Could SD protest the call at the plate? (Yes, I realize protests hardly ever do any good)
-
Hey, he never touched the plate there, and should have been called out.

T-Bag? Don't you mean Teodoro? Also, um, what exactly was Bellick proposing to do w/ Pistachio in that scene?

Because I don't like him, and have been perfectly fine w/ weeks on end of HBK-less Raws. -

HBK never returning is perfectly fine w/ me. -
Because Kyle Orton is bad at football. But great at neckbeards. He could go toe to toe with our own CronoT and possibly come out on top. Drop the "C" on "CronoT", unscramble the letters, and what do you get?

Benoit post-World Title was always presented as a top threat, and always booked to be 1 of HHH's toughest competitors (which is saying something). The fans continued to buy him as a top guy, and was actually pretty well protected. Would he have been booked the same in WCW? His World Title win there was only to bribe him to not jump to the WWE. Would he have ever won it if the situation was different? Eddie blossomed into 1 of the company's biggest draws, and remained as such until his death. He got 1 World Title, and was (supposedly) scheduled to win a 2nd. Would he have ever got those opportunities in WCW, much less been promoted as a ME player (assuming he cleaned himself up, which was no guarantee had he stayed in WCW, which is actually another point in favor of "better off jumping to the WWE")?
-
I hope he's not referring to Benoit or Eddie, because they fared much, much better in the WWE (although, admittedly, it took them a while to reach their peaks), barring each's tragic endings.

Oops, my bad, I forgot to factor in Rowand's VOFP. EDIT: I mean VORFP.

Tell me about it. Even being the resident Dolphins fan, my strategy is to pick against them every game from here on out.

Because people are basing it on stats, which don't accurately reflect what Rollins means to the 2007 Phillies.
-
He's in the mix. Given the BBWAA propensity for rewarding HR and RBI, he'll end up winning. On my ballot, I have David Wright, Chipper Jones, Chase Utley, Hanley Ramirez and Matt Holliday rated above him, but not by much. There is no clear cut choice. Prince is a slugging 1B, which is valuable, but totally one-dimensional. Other than the HRs, he doesn't offer much. The other candidates have better defensive value, on-base skills or baserunning than Prince. What about Jimmy Rollins? Utley's injury hurt his chances. I think Rollins has eclipsed him as "Phillies player in the MVP race". Nothing wrong with Jimmy Rollins. Utley's got him beat by a significant margin in OBP, and has a decent lead in BA and SLG. He also has the edge in VORP despite missing 30 games and playing lower on the defensive spectrum. That sort of gives him the edge in my mind. OK, so now that the Phillies won the NL East, I'd like to revisit this. I get that Utlley has better "numbers", but Rollins is heart & soul of the Phillies, who chased down the Mets & took the East. You can't judge Rollins worth to the Phillies this year merely by crunching numbers. Utley is great & all, but I just can't see giving him the nod over Rollins, at least for this year.

I must be in a rebuilding year. Boy, I suck.
