I read about it in Empire magazine and checked out the trailer. Looks pretty awesome. That said, I LOVE killer shark movies. Even Deep Blue Sea to some extent (cheesy fx and all).

So I'm in SuprNova.org and I try downloading a season of Monty Python. Its about 2 gig and theres 12 or so episodes. I leave it for a while and it has downloaded two episodes that are about 174mb in size (the rest are 0 bytes) so i presume its downloaded 2 entire episode. I tried opening them to watch them but they wont play on anything (Windows Media Player, DixX, Realplayer, Quicktime). They are AVI files. Does this mean that the files are all corrupt and I should stop downloading or do I need to download the whole season before I can view a single episode?

I concur with the other people who said that good news generally isn't considered "news-worthy". Unless culturally, newsreporting in America is different to Australia, it's much more likely that you'll report bad news on tv. Good news only gets on if its something extraordinary. In Australian news coverage, when East Timor got their independence, we didn't get news reports of schools being built or nothing. I think news reports switched to talking about Big Brother. Not biased or anything, they just don't really give a shit about reporting water supplies and schools being built.

It'll outsell the Lesnar and Cena DVDs because they were really shitty. Anyone have the figures on how well the Hogan one did? I remember it was one of the first WWE dvds to be more than 1 disc and have a shitload of extras on it.

What I do like about BFC is that my local independant cinema has actually started showing documentaries as a result of its popularity. Woohoo! So I now get to see Spellbound, To Be and To Have, The Fog of War and all that good stuff. Unfortunately, it also inspires some stuff like Super Size Me which rips Moore's style COMPLETELY and is very gimmicky. It is also a film about a rather obvious topic: McDonalds is bad for you. No shit! And now this Morgan Spurlock dude is making a shitload of money out of it. I need to get some cash together and make films that pander heavily to some populist ideas while bashing America in the process. I'm thinking OIL COMPANIES ARE EEEVIL, TOBACCO COMPANIES BAD and maybe COCA COLA IS BAD FOR YOUR TEETH!

How do you think this DVD will do sales-wise? Can it come close to touching the Ric Flair set?

Cena would be better as a heel but I think he's not really a good enough wrestler to back it up in the ring. As a face wrestler he has lots of signature moves he can pull off and he can be beaten up the rest of the time. Keep him face and work on making his raps edgier says I.

Man I hate it on WWE commentaries they actually divide part of the screen to show the wrestlers sitting there doing the commentary. Why can't they just do commentaries like regular DVDs? That aside, this DVD sounds pretty interestin'. Is 1977 the oldest footage they've put out on DVD? How far back does their recorded footage go anyways?
