It's really sad and all but I burst into laughter at these guys making a shell company called My Ass. I wonder if they kept going, they would have gotten around to making DEYTOOKURJAWBS Inc.? What was actually the fallout from the whole Enron thing? Did it get pinned on any one person?

Isn't this flame baiting?

I feel like such a nerd for wanting to nitpick about the sound in space thing.

What do the WWE care if a wrestler goes to Japan? -
Not to be a wise-ass, but can't you, y'know, be critical of more than one country's media at a time? I personally think a lot of the media coverage we get in Australia on the main news channels is totally balls and I ain't going to let the BBC have any effect on that.

Wait, why aren't we ever allowed to criticize American media?

My favourite years in terms of presentation of the product and the general direction of the company were 1992 (not profitable year) and 2000 (most profitable year). What I liked about both years were the fact that the Sports entertainment element actually clicked and the storyline elements, while important in the development of the feuds, generally weren't too silly or overdone. Both year had heels involved in romantic angles (Flair with the magazine pictures of Elizabeth, Shawn and Martel feuding over Sherri, Kurt and Steph) and they worked well because there was gradual build over a period of weeks which lead to a payoff in the form a PPV match. I don't think they need to actually show so much of what is going on and instead just imply things are happening outside of the arena. I'm a fan of simple stories to supplement the feuds but they can do without the invisible cameraman approach. For example, I liked the way Flair interjected himself into the Warrior/Savage feud at Summerslam and even though the original ending of a Warrior heel turn was rejected, it still worked because the audience never saw any interaction on camera between the three outside of the ring so it was just as easy to buy that Flair had duped them both. And the whole mystery of 'Who will side with Flair' added an extra element of excitement to the match. Things were a little different for the Kurt/HHH/Steph feud since we had the magical invisible camera man filming the key moment with Kurt kissing Steph which wasn't so great (they could have had Steph injured and lying on the ground just behind the curtains where a cameraman conceivably would be there, rather than actually inside a private lockerroom). But I did like the slow build to that moment and at the time I remember a lot of people looked forward to the moment where Kurt steals Steph and makes HHH a hugely sympathetic babyface. The heat generated from that feud if they had gone through with it, could have made for a huge conclusion at Wrestlemania. Obviously things didn't quite work out that way, but if done right, I think that is the best sort of Sports Entertainment and writing style the WWE should aim for.

Does anyone have a good quality copy of KENTA and Marafuji vs Ricky Marvin and Juventud Guerrera?

"Few" doesn't quite cover the sheer volume of their crimes against humanity. There are "few" religious leaders of real religions who openly advocate murder. There AREN'T "few" Muslim leaders who don't condemn such actions and there aren't "few" adherents who commit the atrocities. I could drive people nuts by posting several stories of assorted atrocities every single day. -=Mike Well since the entire religious is murderous Mike, can you post a story about death from Brunei every day for, say, three days in a row? You can find news articles at: http://www.bruneinews.net/ to help you out.

I've lived in Brunei, an Islamic State, in South East Asia for about twelve years so I've got a whole bunch of friends who are Muslim. They had a pretty good laugh reading this thread. Most of the Muslims I know are pretty mellow sort of dudes. Most of the time in Brunei we just sat around playing videogames, watching tv shows and eating loads of cheap Indian/Chinese/Malay food. They all seem to really be into wrestling to (they show it on VCDs in cafes here). It's a pretty awesome. Brunei seems to be struggling to keep its Islamic Quota of Death though. I think there was about 3 murders in the past year. And what it being a Death Cult and everything, I don't really think thats enough.

And the Legend of Soltar should be pre-installed on it. True, this sort of thing hasn't been done before at the start of a console's lifespan but in light of naming the console to appeal to the lowest common denominator (people thinking Xbox2 would be inferior to PS3), then can the lowest common denominator also be expected to understand the difference between two Xbox 360's with different features? I think it would confuse people in the market who would be unsure if they bought the Xbox 360 lite, if it meant they wouldn't be able to play certain games etc. Still, I'm an avid gamer with all the current generation consoles (DC, GC, Xbox, PS2) and would like to see all three next generation consoles do well so hopefully it all goes smoothly for Microsoft. -

Does anyone know a good Real Media to AVI converter? All the ones I can find on the net are either demos which leave huge watermarks or old links which no longer work.

From AICN: Clark Kent and also... Lois Lane~! It has a very old school look. Kinda like how Spider-man does.

I think Anaconda is actually a pretty fun monster movie. Jon Voight hamming it up as the villain is worth watching this film for. It's also nice to see so many of the people in that film actually became pretty big film stars (Owen Wilson, J Lo, Ice Cube etc) although none of it would really be attributed to Anaconda itself. Anacondas was balls though.

Okay so what's he getting at here? That he thought that the U.S and U.K troops were *possibly* turning a blind eye to smuggling and he just did nothing the whole time? That still doesn't make him look any good in this situation!

I've just recently started watching NOAH and would like to know more about the format of the show. Do they have weekly televised shows like RAW and Smackdown? How often do they have PPVs?

Did Next Generation get cancelled for poor sales? What happened to it? Game Players and Ultimate Game Players were a lot of fun. Game Buyers was awful though. How many issues did that even last, anyway?
