My guess would be Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears and Demi Moore.
-
Source: News.com.au I think everybody is a winner on this one.

Looks alright but I would like a film out of Hollywood to actually have a different visual style for once. It was like when I watched that stupid Lemony Snickets movie. The set looks exactly the same as those that you would find in Big Fish, Sleepy Hollow, Harry Potter etc. Even the color grading on the screen is the same.

I thought London qualified on a house show.

Didn't Scotty 2 Hotty already get a Rumble qualifying match?

Man...I hope this doesn't end badly.
-
...this sounds like a pretty crusty show. Are there any more detailed match reports?

So with the "DVD War" coming up...

I was under the impression BluRay was not backwards compatible with DVDs. -
I just saw this last night. *contains minor spoilers* I thought it was a great movie and Don Cheadle is terrific as Paul. I particularly liked the way he has to come up with some new form of bribery to barter for people's lives and the way he tries to keep his composure when he has all the bad news thrown in his face repeatedly from Nick Nolte. I'm sure being told the U.N had come back to bail out the white people would be pretty disappointing news. Jean Renot was good in his brief role as the incredulous Belgian hotel chain owner when Cheadle calls up to say "they're going to kill 800 of us...g'bye. It's been nice working for you" Powerful acting when The Don was putting on his tie too. It's interesting that the darkest character remains unseen throughout the whole film and I got chills when he said "we have a report of U.N convoy trying to smuggle cockroaches...the graves are not yet full enough" So now I've seen Hotel Rwanda, I've still got Sideways, Million Dollar Baby, The Aviator and A Very Long Engagement to go on my list of Things To See Before The Oscars. ...oh, and Kinsey.

...she still doesn't have any breasts.

I guess he's getting the "Matt Hardy" push where you get a lot of medium profile matches and get destroyed in every single one. RAW has a pretty stacked upper mid card and I expect Shelton to join them next year (possibly at the expense of Benoit and Jericho) so he should be making quick work of Maven who, even with a push, wouldn't last very long hanging with Evolution or Faces Who Feud With Evolution.
-
Doing this with some of the current main event feuds would be pretty interesting. You can imagine the chapters for a Triple H/Randy Orton DVD: - Triple H forms a new stable called Evolution with Ric Flair and two young up-and-comers Randy Orton and Dave Batista. - Evolution win all the gold on RAW. - Triple H loses the title to Chris Benoit and despite repeated attempts to regain the title, he fails. - Randy Orton defeats Chris Benoit for the title! - Feeling his position is threatened, Triple H kicks Orton out of Evolution. - At Unforgiven, after a titanic struggle and copious amounts of cheating, Triple H wins the title off Orton. A few weeks later, Orton loses in a match so he is under a stipulation where he cannot challenge Triple H for the title. What can he possibly do to regain the title? The Royal Rumble looms... - Batista totally steals the limelight and Orton is forgotten.

http://www.news.com.au/common/story_page/0...55E1702,00.html I'm having my Christmas break at my folks' home in Brunei at the moment so this is pretty major news here at the moment. It's weird that it happened a year to the day that there was a big earthquake in Iran.

In terms of appearance, American Dragon looks like the default guy in most wrestling game's CAW mode.

WARNING, MINOR SPOILERS! - IMDB.com ...Man, how did they get a preview copy?

I simply cannot comprehend the thinking of the writers re: the Kane/Lita business. I mean nonsensical face/heel turns is one thing for lazy writers to use but here they are making a RAPIST the face! And what happens to Matt Hardy when he comes back? Will he be a heel for trying to break up their marriage and win back Lita?
-
I'm really looking forward to this one. The director Alexander Payne previously made About Schmidt and Election, two awesome films. Plus Paul Giamatti is a pretty major dude also. But since I'll be in Australia soon I'll probably have to wait a few months before I get to see this.

I just picked up my copy after work tonight. I'm starting in reverse and watching the extras before the film. My thoughts so far: - I'm watching The Passing of an Age chapter and at end of production it showed them throwing out all the prothstetic ears and feet and stuff and it also showed them destroying the unused film stock. Why the hell do they do that? - Nice to see Christopher Lee on there. I thought he might have been too pissed off after being cut from the theatrical cut of Return of the King that he wouldn't be involved. - There's a whole section with Billy Boyd and Dominic Monoghan talking about pipe-weed~! - Funny story where Peter Jackson tried to explain to Christopher Lee what noise to make when he is stabbed in the back. Christopher Lee then very sternly tells him he knows because he himself had been stabbed in the back when he was younger and in the British Secret Service (!?!) - Good god, there is a scene where Gimli and Legolas have a drinking contest. John Rhy Davies, improvising as Gimli, gets totally pissed and says "Back home, we get drunk and go swimming with little hairy women. Yeaaaaaah!!!" - Billy Boyd has kissed five members of the Fellowship. - The Easter Egg on disc one is Dominic Monoghan pretending to be a German journalist interviewing Elijah Wood via satellite (i.e Elijah doesn't realise it's him). It's pretty funny stuff Ali G style stuff. Goes about eight minutes long too.

RAW House Results 12-29-2004 in El Paso, TX

That sounds like a sweet show dude. Meanwhile the debate over how well Orton is doing connecting with the fans continues... -
I used Sonic DVDi to make my comps for LOST and its pretty good so far. It's very easy to link between menus and clip the media files so you can have the intro to the show play when the DVD loads up and stuff. Also a piece of cake to add audio files. The only thing I have problems with, is making animated menus which is easy to do using Nero Burning ROM.

OK, so I just saw the Mega Powers break up match

I never understood some of the booking with Hogan. How the hell is he supposed to be the face at RR 92? -
Are PPVs and the actual shows written by different people now? They rarely seem to have any sort of cohesion. No follow through for Haas or Funaki. It reminds me of when Flair shook Orton's hand at the PPV and there was no mention or follow up the next week on RAW.
-
Maybe they would do a big contrived fourway collision and no one makes the ten count. That would rule. All four run the ropes in opposing directions and bang heads in the middle of the ring.
-
The mental image of a four-way pin is pretty funny. And the fact that there would be some insanely contrived circumstances to lead to four people lying in a square being pinned by one person while themselves pinning another. Then there would also have to be the politics of who would be pinning who.
-
Didn't they just sort of sit there for their introduction?
