Which year, in your opinion, has been the best year for PC and videogame releases? I was just making up my Christmas wishlist and realised how many games I want to get this year. This year I've already picked up copies of Halo 2, Burnout 3, GTA: San Andreas and Half-Life 2 and I'm hoping over the next few months to also get Pro Evolution Soccer 4, Doom 3, Pirates!, Football Manager 2005 and Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal. The past year (or more accurately, the past four months) have produced some of the best games I can remember. The only other year I can remember having such strong titles was 1996 (Tomb Raider, Super Mario 64) and 1999 (Legend of Zelda, Half-Life). Your thoughts? What year was your favourite as a gamer?

I remember pissing myself over how much Edge ripped into Atari and Driver 3. They gave the game a score of 3/10 and ran a story about how the owner of Atari is driven soley by sales and couldn't care less about the quality of the games. Good times.

It's a pretty tricky situation really. I mean on one hand, it's going to be pretty hard to find out whether he was an insurgent or an innocent civillian but obviously since its become a big media story, the repurcussions of this incident mean more than that. If he was an insurgent, there is still the matter of trying to convince the Iraqi people that it was the right thing to do. I think they're pretty fucked on this one either way. It'll result in negative press which will linger for months.

No. I think Lesnar turned into a great wrestler and Smackdown really went down the crapper when he left. But he certainly didn't come through with the hype specifically for his SSP though. I remember people kept predicting different events where they thought he'd finally debut it. Burchill looks awesome and has some cool spots but will he be allowed to do even half the moves in that set of videos? I doubt it. And if he has an average moveset outside of his spots, then there wouldn't be much to differentiate him from the other hosses out there unless he gets mic time or vignettes to develop him into a unique character.

I heard on the set of The Score, Marlon Brando hated director Frank Oz and would only refer to him as Miss Piggy. I also read that he was conscious of his weight so he would show up to work completely naked from the waist down so he could only have close ups and a body double had to be used for long shots.
