I agree about not buying something I'd regret, that's why I either rent first, or just wait until the game hits $20 or less, or both. For me, it's just easier that way for the most part, since some games come down in price and hit the bargain bin pretty quickly. But since the rental prices at Blockbuster jumped up to over $9, I tend to stay away from renting now.

Regardless of game or system, I agree with this.

To me, that doesn't sound too bad, because I thought Spider-Man 3 was an ok game. I rented Web of Shadows today and haven't played it yet. I'll post more when I do.

I also enjoy these Spider-Man games too, but this game will definitely get lost in the shuffle of big releases coming out. I'll rent it.

I hear that they have patches, mods, etc available for Madden 08 for PC. It sounds pretty cool, so I would definitely have to try that out sometime.

I hope you don't live in the Bay Area, because that would be really SAD. I haven't lived there in over a year. Anyway, what I mean, is that the 49ers and Raiders fanbases stand out to me the most popular in terms of being talked about and supported the most. Sure you have fans of other teams and sports, but they don't really stand out a whole lot to me.

I never get a chance to play demos, so I usually roll with renting. I'd probably consider this game around the $20 price range.

Have any of you guys tried Fracture yet? I rented this from Blockbuster, and it's good, but it seems like there is something missing from it.

I don't know, but I remember on 2K8 on occasion, the ref would take forever in giving the ball to the inbounding player to be inbounded and then you'd have to quickly pause and unpause the game in order for him to speed up the process.

Sounds an awful lot like my high school, with the name, logo, and colors of the Atlanta Falcons. (Sans Atlanta being in the name, obviously)
