After watching my Bash at the Beach 98 tape the other day, I definitely give it a nomination for one of the worst nWo era PPVs. And as for Psychosis, he did get a PPV win at Spring Stampede 98 over La Parka.

I like my card collection. I already did most of my subtractions ages ago, took out all the cards I didn't want, etc. Mine are all in separate card albums. My card collection consists of NFL, NBA and old X-Men cards from 1995 that are still in good shape, as well as a few NHL cards, too. I have cards of all 32 NFL teams, I also have an autographed Michael Vick card (package insert) When I checked it's value last, it was said to be over $50. I also have a Deion Branch Senior Bowl jersey card, too.

You won't be the only one buying ESPN this year.

Some more stuff I've wondered relating to the nWo. How did the nWo get their name on the PPVs in 1998? How did the nWo get Souled Out 97 as their PPV?
-
Can someone answer this one for me?
-
Didn't Larry (not even gonna try to spell his last name) have a feud with Scott Hall the month after Starrcade? And wasn't that the match where Dusty ran in and joined the nWo by attacking Larry? Also, when did the nWo Wolfpac first form and why? I wasn't watching during this period, so I'm asking a billion and one questions about all of this.
-
That isn't the one, but it's ok. Was this when they started spraypainting "nWo" over the WCW logo on the Monday Nitro logo? And how many of these "nWo Monday Nitro" episodes did they end up doing?
-
I had an idea that it was an international show, as the clip of the Rey/Dean match was in a foreign language I wasn't familiar with. I just had no clue where it took place.

Media post: Stone Cold Vs. Dude Love

I dunno if it's just me... but none of those links work. -
ah, so that's when it was. I don't remember too much from then. I don't have the Monday Night Wars DVD, so I never really knew. Speaking of that DVD, is it any good? All I can remember from that time when the Horsemen were re-formed, was Flair feuding with Eric Bischoff.
-
He might've won a few on Nitro and Thunder. I really can't remember, to be honest. Probably gotta look in the Nitro/Thunder/PPV archives.
-
Flair showed back up in December, or was it November to re-form the Horsemen? I do know this was prior to Starrcade 98.

Wrestlers where their debut televised matches were

Didn't Miss Mona (aka Molly Holly) debut at the same PPV? -
IIRC, Dusty was the one that responded. Here's a funny one (or so I think) from that site posted above. (Just before they run a Tito Santana match) Brain: "Did you know that Tito holds a place in the Guinness Book of World Records?" Gorilla: "Yeah, for what?" Brain: "He picked over 1600 heads of lettuce in a half an hour." Gorilla: "Will you stop!" (Match is televised, Tito wins) Gorilla: "Well, it doesn't look like Tito needs to concern himself with lettuce heads anymore." Brain: "Yep - he can move right on to tomatoes."

I mean his first PPV match. -
What about Spring Stampede 98 (never seen it) Great American Bash 98 (I heard this one was complete crap) and SuperBrawl VII? (Main event sucked ass)

While everyone else played dead.

I suppose that counts, although, wasn't his PPV wrestling debut at WrestleMania the month after? -
That's why I watch the All-Star games. I like the insane-scoring. It's fun, at least for me, anyways.

I took a look on GameFAQs for myself, and ROTJ shows up, although it's titled "Super Return of the Jedi" No reviews for this game, either.

Wow. Just...... wow What a fucking moron. I'd like to know how this guy thinks Tillman's service wasn't necessary.

I found the "Force" system to be quite easy. Just use the shoulder button(s) pick a force, if you have it, and use it. Although, there were only two worthy of using, IMO. Freeze and Heal, as IMO they were the most essential for survival. Was it Star Wars? I remember that one being actually somewhat decent. They never made ESB, and ROTJ I don't remember too much about.

That brings up this question: How exactly was the Savage/Hogan cage match supposed to end? I know the match sucked, but the ending never really made sense. Can someone explain this?
