As everyone knows, Ken Dorsey was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the 7th round in last weekend's draft. The big question I'm wondering is, does he have a chance at being successful in the NFL? As we all know, he posted an impressive 38-2 record in college as a starter for the University of Miami. Of course there are the big knocks against him such as arm strength and whatnot... What do you guys think?

This post pretty much stems from the fines in the NBA over the criticism of the officials, guys like Pat Riley, etc have all been fined JUST BECAUSE they criticized the referees. Is this REALLY something players, coaches, etc should be getting fined for? What do you guys think?

That one makes the least sense, IMO. I mean the Texans drafted David Carr a year earlier with their first overall pick, and then a year later, they draft Dave Ragone and Drew Henson, who has said that the NFL isn't in his future plans. Just doesn't make sense to me, unless someone knows something about this that I don't.

Speaking of Jake... Whatever happened to him? Last I heard of him, he was part of that Legends of Wrestling show in October of 1999. RIP Liz - Sucks to hear the news, that's all I can really say.

Well, hey I could be wrong, it isn't a guarantee that Dorsey will beat any of these guys in training camp. I think he can beat Brandon Doman though. I've never really been so sold on him anyways, never really seen what was so great about him. If they want to see more of him, then that's fine, maybe he'll impress the coaching staff. Who knows? Cade McNown could be the 'odd man out' going into training camp as they'll end up having 4 QBs on the roster to give him more time to heal from his surgery if he hasn't healed already. I've heard a few different stories about this and really haven't gotten an 'official' word on his status. You are right about Rattay though, bad example in my last post. I do remember him playing rather decent in the two or three games in which he game in off the bench for Garcia. He'll probably be a back-up at best, or maybe I'm wrong? If Ken Dorsey spends a year on the practice squad or even on the 49ers roster at whatever string, I hope he does everything necessary to improve his game, be it arm strength, mobility, etc. I think it'd make quite a story.

That's (most likely) the reason he was drafted. I'm sure he can beat out some of the other QBs, like Tim Rattay and Brandon Doman, for a spot on the roster. He'll be there when the season starts, IMO.

Ray Allen is from my hometown. Born on the same Air Force base as I was as well.

I've read similar stuff to this as well, except it was over at 49erswebzone.com I've heard that bulk has come since the Fiesta Bowl in January and that before the draft, Dorsey impressed Niner officials in a private workout and was told not to say anything about it before the draft. The 49ers may have found their QB of the future if it's all going as planned for them. Just to touch on the NFL Europe bit. It doesn't really surprise me that they're losing money. Football isn't exactly a 'favorite' over in Europe, sure some might like it, but it isn't the most popular over there. Were they gonna fold the league before the NFL Europe season ended or after?

I think he might have a chance, despite the negative knocks against him. From what I've read in recent news lately, Dorsey does want to prove everyone that they were wrong about passing up on him, etc, and if he is serious about that, IMO he might have a chance.

I'm not sure if there is a thing like that for Windows ME, I don't run that anymore. I also did the advised things, scanned for viruses, none came up. I also turned off that remote feature. Does anyone have any links to some good firewalls? I had some firewalls before, but I've had to fdisk my hard drive several times and lost them and have forgotten the links.

For some strange reason when using my computer, my computer starts going batshit, my mouse starts moving in different directions on it's own and getting into stuff and I am not the one doing this. Is there some way I can fix this problem?

Quite frankly, I thought the WMXIX pics sucked too, or at least the ones I've seen. Those Raw 2 pics don't look that good either, hopefully for the sake of the game, the graphics are cleaned up and are much better looking when this game is finally released.
