Madden, NFL Head Coach, and NCAA Football 2009

I agree with some of the above posters about the rewind feature. It really isn't a big deal because it's optional. If it weren't optional, then I could see the outrage. Especially if something like this were used online. It's a fun thing to mess around with just for kicks maybe, but it isn't anything I'd take very serious at all.

If you have the transfer kit, you can get them from places such as OperationSports.

After a game or two, it's not too bad. I like how the passing icons disappear online when you drop back more than 10 yards.

I just picked up Madden 09, if anybody wants to play, hit me up.

I haven't even downloaded the demo, and I doubt I'm going to. I'd rather just wait for the game to release. Also, I finished my game against UCLA and am ready to advance. Sorry for the delay.

To me, the flaws were apparent the moment I put the game in when I first got it. That said, despite that, it isn't all that bad. btw, Broward, I have not forgotten about my game against UCLA, I'll get that done soon. I've been busy the last few days.

To be perfectly honest with you, I don't either. I've had 21 point quarters at least once or twice I think. Every time I've done it, it's always blown my mind as to how it's happened.

I hope that second patch also fixes the lack of a kneel down on kicks. I've noticed that as I just let the thing go and not even press a button, the KR automatically begins to run the ball out of the end zone himself.

Sorry about that, fazzle, I should have added this next part to it. My fault. How to upload to EASW: Go to My NCAA 09 from there you go to My Legacy and then EA Sports Highlights after this you can choose the highlights that you wish to upload. LB/RB will navigate you through until you find the game of which you wish to upload highlights from. After that, it's pretty easily sailing from there. Pick the one that you wish to upload, then it should tell you that it's in the process of uploading and will take you several minutes. After you're finished, it'll give you a prompt saying that it is complete. Another thing to add, when you're signed in to EASW, you can download the highlights to your computer and assuming you have a program that does this, you can convert the file to a different format and host it elsewhere if you wanted to.

I understand, but I couldn't resist throwing that joke out there though, it was too tempting not to. Go to Manage/Create Highlights or some shit like that, watch the highlight of your choice until it's done, at the end you should get a prompt asking you if you wish to save it and add it to EA Sports World. You get up to 5 to pick, and only 5 can be put on the EASW server. If you got it to work, then this should be noted for anybody else in the future who might need help with it.

You guys should just get 360s and get it over with.

Yeah, it sucked pretty badly, but it was still one wild game, IMO. Especially if you look at the scoring summary for it. I was down 21-7 in the 2nd quarter nearing halftime and scored 14 points in less than a minute, literally and then took the 2nd half kickoff back for a TD. That was one of the crazier sequences I have ever seen on this or Madden in the years I've been playing them. Speaking of Madden, I'm interested in joining the Madden league as the 49ers.

I just lost to Wisconsin in a heartbreaker. Fuck. I went 24-36, 250 yards 4 TD, 2 INT with Tom Brandstater. Pretty good game though, wound up as my #1 ESPN Instant Classic. I let it slip away in the 4th.

That sounds pretty epic. In fact, I love that EA Sports World thing they have now. Being able to post your own videos is quite fun.

Games you can beat to death

I can beat both KOTORs and still have fun with them. Maybe not "beat them to death" as per the description, but I still have lots of fun with those.

No problem. I'm always good for some online play. Hit me up later on.

I didn't have consistent internet access at this point last year, so unfortunately I couldn't have, but all of that is for another discussion. Anyways, have you guys seen this? http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/n/ncaafoot...end/default.htm

Broward vs. Boise State's "smurf turf" is officially the highlight of this thread.

Sounds good to me. In fact, I was even going to lay it out that way too.

Fresno State is looking for at least one more for a home and home series beginning next year. Anybody else? As Pat Hill himself says, "Anyone, any place, any time"

Turnovers are such a bitch. Had it not been for this, I probably could have beaten Rutgers.

I hope he gets Boise. I could use a little competition in the WAC.

I guess if we're starting a Madden league, I call San Francisco. (By default) EDIT - Another crazy upset to post about, in my Fresno State dynasty. Western Kentucky beat Tennessee. WTF is going on with this? First North Texas over LSU, now WKU over Tennessee?

No problem, VX. I feel your pain too, I'd rather have the actual names as opposed to a bunch of generated names and numbers. Also, if you leave them untouched after downloading them, they're fine. There is a roster editing glitch that's in the process of having a patch released for it. EA has completed it, now it's pending certification. If you make a bunch of edits to the rosters and such, you'll run into this glitch:

VX, you can download roster files through EA Locker. In fact, you can even download one from me, just go to the EA Locker and then select my gamertag and go from there. Same for anybody else that wishes to download the rosters. However, if you don't have me on your friend list, you can just enter my gamertag (it's in my sig) and then download it.
