With the 35th pick in the draft, the Chicago Bears select Safety Mike Doss from Ohio State. Mike Doss SS | (5-10, 207, 4.55) | OHIO STATE By Pro Football Weekly Notes: Played in every game as a true 18-year-old freshman in 1999 and started the final two. Started every game in 2000 and '01 and was an All-Big Ten selection and a Sporting News All-American in both seasons. Had 43 tackles and broke up two passes in 1999. Had 94 tackles, including 13 for loss, with six passes broken up, three interceptions and two fumble recoveries for touchdowns in 2000. Posted 87-10-4-3 and four fumble recoveries with a touchdown and two blocked punts in '01. Started all 14 games in '02, recording 107 tackles -- 65 solo and 42 assists -- five tackles for losses, two interceptions for 80 yards and one fumble recovery. Was the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, a consensus All-American and a Jim Thorpe Award finalist. Positives: Big, explosive hitter and top competitor who is well-built. Good feet and hips, and above-average range tackler. Honor student with great football intelligence who is very good reading his keys and diagnosing plays. Gets a very good jump and adjusts to plays. Very good in run support. Shows awareness and instincts in zone coverage and can cover the slot. Negatives: Inconsistent in coverage. Does not play the ball well and misjudges it. Makes mental errors and bad mistakes, giving up some big plays. Allows receivers behind him. Lacks height and size for a strong safety and is best in the box. Will miss a few tackles coming in too high. Must get better in coverage to be a complete safety, but size puts him at a disadvantage against tight ends and most big receivers. Summary: Doss will be one of the top safeties drafted because of his smarts and knack for being around the football, but he'll have to work to be more than a great college player.

Yeah, and what's sad is, by the time Brock is actually ready to be champion, he will have already held the belt twice.
-
That or some dirty necrophiliac.
-
Better conditioning could probably help fix that, then again, I dunno, I don't watch very many Pittsburgh games I'll take the Bears again for the 2nd round, if we're doing one.
-
Didn't the Steelers draft Zereoue to become their starter later on down the line? If Bettis retires, gets hurt, etc, I think they should use Zereoue, then again, that's just me.
-
The Raiders suck, so does Al Davis. That being said, those unis look pretty cool.
-
That demo kicked ass, I wouldn't mind playing it again.
-
I'd be willing to do a 2nd round. Also, can someone post the latest draft results?
-
No kidding... The forums over there, or at least the WWE forums, run rampant of idiots.
-
Like you, I've read a bunch of crap around the net about it. However, I don't own the game, let alone I don't own an N64 anymore so, I can't really confirm it to be true. You might need a gameshark or something.
-
I can't believe the Wild pulled that out. Amazing game.
-
That's what I watched in favor of Raw, and that game kicked ass.
-
There are so many stupid things the WWE has done, the number of them greatly exceeds 5. Here are a few, and they aren't my 'Top 5', just a few to throw out for the sake of doing so... Necrophilia/Katie Vick angle Putting Kane in the Raw main event feud back in October of last year. Kane/Undertaker as a tag team in 2001 (Came 3 years too late, had they done it in like 1998, it would've been better) Giving Test, Albert, and Mark Henry titles/TV time. Bringing back the nWo
-
So, was missing Raw this week worth it or not?
-
I doubt I'll be watching on Monday, due to other interests. (NBA/NHL Playoffs)
-
Tough Enough might not be aired again? Oh well, no big deal....
-
Bah, all of you silly Cavs fans are just bitter.
-
Even though I've been watching the NBA longer (since the 1991 NBA Finals I believe) I gotta say the NHL playoffs. It's so damn fun to sit and watch an NHL Playoff game, they usually deliver in terms delivering a great game. In all reality though, both hockey and basketball fucking rule!

Sounds to me that it's Steve Javie who is involved with controversial calls more IMO. Take that incident where Pat Riley was fined (which was bullshit) as an example. I dunno about Kerry Fraser though, I haven't heard too much about him.
-
I agree That was a good read IMO.
-
Come on now, it's not like the 'Raider Nation' thugs are gonna have a clue as to how much of a moron the team's owner really is.
-
Why are you even looking at other guys in that area? What is your obsession with this?
