6? This is one of my worst weeks yet.
-
It is sad, however, with the Cardinals having to face the Niners next week, it won't last too long.
-
Pretty ironic that a Dallas Cowboys game is being called as one of the worst games ever.
-
The latter could be a possible reason. I haven't played it or anything, but, still, it could be..
-
I'm not, and that's mostly because I'm a Niner fan. But, damn those talented Saints! Did they just HAVE to run wild in that game? Did they? j/k They did deserve to win though and they were obviously the better team since they had what it took to pull out the win. Any time, and I mean ANY time you blow a double-digit-lead, you damn well deserve to lose, I don't care who it is. Speaking of the Niners, bravesfan84, nice avatar. Oh well, at least Oakland and Dallas lost, those scummy bastards, had the Rams lost, it would've been even better. Only bad thing about the Arizona win is that it ties them for first with the Niners in the NFC West. On a completely different note, can someone tell me why there was no Sunday night game on ESPN this week?

MODESTO, Calif. I live not too far from Modesto, about 45 miles or something along those lines. (just some useless fact to throw in for no reason at all) I am however, not surprised that this incident happened in Modesto, I always knew a few weirdos or two would come from that city.
-
I'm floundering about in the top-15, I'm doing ok, I can do better than this..
-
Owens was right about what he said on the Tony Kornheiser radio show the other day.. "No matter what I do, people are gonna talk about it. Whether they see me on the sidelines angry for whatever reason, or doing some TD celebration, people are still gonna talk about it." (or something to that effect) This incident proves that to be true. Edited to fix part of the post.
-
Then you shouldn't have a problem with it whatsoever. Owens was doing it to be original and creative, and to have some fun. Even if he hadn't done what he did, he would have still gotten on SportsCenter regardless. This little piece said by Niners center Jeremy Newberry says it best.. "It's really getting blown out of proportion,'' center Jeremy Newberry said. "It's ridiculous. I don't think he offended anybody. Any time T.O. does something, the media wants to make a bigger deal about it than it deserves. " "He didn't sign the ball and give it to Shawn Springs. I don't think anybody in this locker room sees anything wrong with it.''

I agree with that. Buffalo at Miami - Buffalo Carolina at Atlanta - Atlanta Chicago at Detroit - Chicago Denver at Kansas City - Denver Jacksonville at Baltimore - Jacksonville Minnesota at N.Y. Jets - Minnesota Seattle at St. Louis - Seattle San Francisco at New Orleans - San Francisco Houston at Cleveland - Houston San Diego at Oakland - San Diego Dallas at Arizona - Arizona Tampa Bay at Philadelphia - Tampa Bay Washington at Green Bay - Green Bay Indianapolis at Pittsburgh - Indianapolis

I thought what Owens did was pretty cool. At least it was original and creative, which was what Owens was shooting for the whole time. Too bad some people have to whine and cry about it without understanding why he actually did it. The way I see it is like this: This whole thing has been blown way out of proportion by the Seahawks players/coaches who commented on it they have no fucking clue, the NFL, the media, and some of you. All he does is sign a football, give it to a friend, and then everybody starts whining about it as if he were actually taunting. Give me a fucking break all he did was sign a damn football and give it to a friend, where is the harm in that? Some people need to lighten up.

That trade isn't half bad, with one problem... James Stewart Certainly that guy can give up a better RB than Stewart, can't he? Fred Taylor would be a better option to take than Stewart. And if you can't get Moulds, try for Peerless Price, he is just as good IMO.
-
They might be on pace for the worst D ever, but, they do have a damn good offense, IMO.
-
6. The Nameless Team Now I gotta figure out how to draft, knowing I'm at #6...
-
The end of that game was really good, IMO. Many close calls in that one.
-
lol They probably will... My picks... Sunday, Oct. 13 Atlanta at N.Y. Giants, 1:00 pm - N.Y. Giants Baltimore at Indianapolis, 1:00 pm - Indianapolis Buffalo at Houston, 1:00 pm - Buffalo Carolina at Dallas, 1:00 pm - Carolina Cleveland at Tampa Bay, 1:00 pm - Tampa Bay Detroit at Minnesota, 1:00 pm - Minnesota Green Bay at New England, 1:00 pm - Green Bay New Orleans at Washington, 1:00 pm - New Orleans Pittsburgh at Cincinnati, 1:00 pm - Pittsburgh Jacksonville at Tennessee, 4:15 pm - Jacksonville Kansas City at San Diego, 4:15 pm - San Diego Oakland at St. Louis, 4:15 pm - Oakland (Pains me to make this pick) Miami at Denver, 8:30 pm - Denver Monday, Oct. 14 San Francisco at Seattle, 9:00 pm - San Francisco

I dunno if I ever posted this team, but, here it is.. tell me what you guys think QB - Trent Green (backups - McNair/Vick) RB - A-Train/Eddie George (backup - Travis Henry) WR - Terrell Owens/Peerless Price/David Patten (backup - Keenan McCardell) TE - Randy McMichael (backup - Jeremy Shockey) K - David Akers (backup - Mike Hollis) D - Urlacher/Strahan/Derrick Brooks/Armstead (backups - Hugh Douglas/Jamie Winborn/Shawn Springs)
-
Oh ok, my mistake. I thought special teams was mostly kickers since kickers get points and all. I misunderstood that, my apology.
-
NFL.com FF Leagues do score for defense and special teams (kickers)
-
49ers $75,119,964 I dunno what to say about that, but, they're 3-1 and just whipped the Rams on Sunday and sent them to 0-5. So, with that said, all is right in the world.
-
Can't argue that. I traded Terrell Owens to get Peerless Price and Shaun Alexander whom I have yet to start due to bye week, and it was worth putting Price in my starting lineup and he tore it up on Sunday against the Raiders being one of two WRs in my starting lineup to get a TD, the other was Keyshawn Johnson.

Um, I thought they did that later on that year when the Pack curbstomped the Niners on MNF? Or the following year when they beat the Niners at Lambeau? Or how about last year's playoffs? Either way, 1/3/99 was sweet bliss. And if there is any betting on the Niners/Packers game for later this year, count me in, since I am one of the few Niner fans around here, unless I'm the only one. Niners all the way!
-
I rented it just the other day from Blockbuster. I thought it was a pretty good game overall. I loved the commentary despite some parts from last year's game being mixed in, still funny stuff. All in all, I like it.
-
I suppose you could just tell that some sort of pass play was gonna determine the whole thing. I just didn't know what type of pass play. Was still a good one though.
