I can safely say that game was one of the best, if not THE best I've seen so far this year. Went from a 14 point Vols lead into a 6 OT marathon. Very entertaining game overall. Did anybody see that final pass play which won the Vols the game coming?

What you need are a backup kicker and an extra team defense. For kickers, you should go get Paul Edinger or Jason Hanson. Team defenses, you should go get either St Louis or Carolina. You don't have to, but, it would be useful for you if you did.
-
It's one of those "never seen in the U.S. PPVs", like InsurreXtion and Rebellion.
-
Is the salary cap finally gonna catch up to them?
-
He means rookie as a starting QB. In other words, he's the new starter. You get the idea, hopefully. However, I don't see San Diego winning the division this year either, with Denver and Oakland in that division, it'll be tough for the Chargers to get so much as a wild card spot if they can't get past either of those teams. The Chargers do have their work cut out for them.

5 total points for the week? Damn that is bad...
-
I think the Chiefs will burn the Jets pretty badly. However, the bigger question in my view is, how do you guys think Chad Pennington will fare in his first NFL start?
-
My thoughts exactly. I don't care what color this guy is, but, Johnnie Cochran is a fucking dumbass if he actually goes through with this. All he's gonna do is end up making himself look bad, and probably lose a lot of money in the process.

This game didn't help very much in Fantasy Football, nor did it help at all in Pick'Em as I now have 9 incorrect picks this week. It was not a bad football game at all. Heap looked great in the first half, that guy could become Redman's favorite target before too long, well, that's what I think. My Game Ball for this one goes to Ray Lewis, he had a monster game out there.

Yeah you'd be smart to go ahead and take that trade. Even if Alexander isn't as good as he was last year he'd still be a solid starter for you. Also Alexander doesn't have the splitting carries problem that your current RBs have. Yeah, Alexander isn't part of that rotating running back deal we all just love (being sarcastic about the love part) I'll have him in another week or two with Seattle being on bye next week. I went ahead and took the trade, it should work out just fine in the long run, hopefully. Ironic thing, I face the guy I traded Owens to next week.
-
I am glad I did not have to watch that crap, I got the Pats/Chargers game, which was obviously the better game. Damn the Raiders for winning!
-
Well, my RBs are Michael Pittman, Mike Alstott and Jamel White if that says much. Adding Alexander would be a good improvement. He can't and probably won't be held under 40 yards rushing per game all season. Especially with Seattle getting back one of their Pro Bowl tackles, I believe that is Walter Jones they are getting back. Price for Owens, I don't think that would be a huge step down, considering the type of year Price is having thus far and Price could (not saying he will, but, he COULD) put up Owens-like numbers this season. I also have Keyshawn and Donte' Stallworth as WRs, so, it wouldn't be all that bad.
-
Agreed...
-
It's good to see that they're giving him a deal that'll keep him there for years to come, but, why the overly-high price? That now makes McNabb the most overpaid player in the NFL. Granted, he is very talented and is a damn good football player, but, he's overpaid as are all these guys making millions of dollars. That's just what I think, I'm sure everyone else thinks differently.
-
On one of my Yahoo teams, I was offered this trade.. Peerless Price/Shaun Alexander for Terrell Owens Normally I don't take trades for Owens, but, I just might consider this one since my RBs are weak as it is. My RBs are Pittman, Alstott and Jamel White, I got rid of guys like Emmitt and Ron Dayne whom I had before. My WRs are Owens, Keyshawn, Donte' Stallworth and Todd Pinkston who I picked up from the FA/Waiver-Wire Should I take this?
-
That's what I would like to know. Why didn't they do that instead of naming them the Texans and giving them the retarded new logo they have now? It sucks. It would have been nice to see the Houston franchise back as the Oilers.
-
Still in the Top 15, not bad at all I say.

Ditto. I too must thank the Rams for that, if that remains the case. And if it does remain the case, chalk up division crown number 17 for the 49ers.
-
Agreed on all counts. The "pre-madonna star" issue is mostly with the Vikings and Randy Moss. The 49ers don't have that problem, or at least not as bad as Minnesota has it, and I wouldn't exactly call Terrell Owens a "pre-madonna" either, because he is far from that. As a 49ers fan, perhaps the only one around here, I wouldn't want to see Tim Rattay as the starter either, at least not yet until he is fully ready to become a starting QB in the NFL. I do however, give Rattay all the credit in the world for not losing the game for the 49ers. He did a fine job out there in relief of Jeff Garcia in my opinion.
-
In 4 Yahoo leagues I went 2-2 this week. Culpepper and his 4 INTs were not very helpful at all in my two losses.
-
Must give credit to the 49ers for FINALLY getting the running game going. Gaining over 200 yards on the ground was a good help in picking up the win today. I'm pleased with the game overall, too bad the pass never really got going all that much. But, either way, as a 49ers fan, I'll gladly take this win.
