Add that to my list of favorite blowouts just because it was the Raiders being blown out. Edited to include 49ers 44 - Raiders 10 (MNF from 1994 I believe)
-
I got one to add that does come from the NFL... Jacksonville 64 - Miami 7 (Playoff game from several years ago)

This is barely the third week of the season as you pointed out. Garcia has had two bad games whereas Rich Gannon has had two good games. Garcia hasn't found his groove yet as far as passing goes. Sooner or later he'll end up breaking out and performing up to his capabilities and throw more than two TDs a game. The league may have found a way to counter the 49ers offense, but, whether or not they can keep it up is a whole different story. And how exactly is Terrell Owens an "ultra-egomaniac" just because he feels he should have 2000 receving yards this season? There is nothing wrong with that at all. Just shows he wants to get involved more, after all, 2000 recieving yards means more involvement, to an extent. If you want ego, look at Randy Moss.

Garcia has Terrell Owens, JJ Stokes, Tai Streets, Eric Johnson, Garrison Hearst, Kevan Barlow and Fred Beasley to throw the ball to. Garcia has plenty of options for passing, it's just all a matter of how much time he has to pass, and whether or not he can throw the ball to his recievers.

How exactly did this happen? I am probably a bit too young to remember it, I'm 19 if that says anything. Joe dropped back to pass and Lawerence Taylor came in on a blitz. LT hits him and Joe's leg just goes limp. Just imagine Ed McCaffery's broken leg last year on MNF only a bit more gruesome. I was just in shock watching it and seeing LT scream for medics was kinda traumatizing. That sounds gruesome, although I never did see Ed McCaffrey's broken leg on MNF last year, so, I can't compare it to that.

How exactly did this happen? I am probably a bit too young to remember it, I'm 19 if that says anything. "The catch by Terrell Owens to end the Packers season in the 1998 playoffs against San Francisco. I swear, that just about ripped my heart out. Tremendous game otherwise, but dammit dammit dammit. I was depressed all the next day." I was gonna mention that until I seen your post. That was fucking brilliance, mostly because I'm a 49ers fan. That 'Music City Miracle' was brought up and is another play I can remember pretty well. That play seemed as if it was gonna be stopped short. Others: Jordan's last shot as a Bull.. The 49ers winning Super Bowl 29 in convincing fashion over San Diego. I loved every second of that. Scott Norwood's infamous chokejob missing that FG against the Giants in the Super Bowl. The 49ers losing to the Bears last year in overtime, I lost five fucking dollars off of that! I remember my look of disbelief when the Bears won. That Tracy McGrady dunk from the NBA All-Star Game (I don't remember when) but it was pretty sweet. The Raiders losing the now infamous 'Snow Game' The Rams losing the Super Bowl to the Patriots. The celebration Terrell Owens did in Dallas two years ago that got him the one game suspension, that was gold! Edited to include: Garrison Hearst's broken leg against the Falcons in 1999 in the playoffs.

When did Irsay die? I'm not too sure, which is why I ask.

I've got Price on two of my teams and he helped big time. How many points did your opponent get from Price's performance?
-
I'm gonna look at my options about trading for Price. You are right though El Satanico, the only WR I shouldn't shop around is Owens. I won't even shop him around anyways. I've shot down four trades for him in the last two months. One of which was Randy Moss for Terrell Owens straight up. Owens is my favorite WR, and when he has a big game, I'd want him on my team. The guy who I would be trading Price with has six WRs, he was the guy I traded Jimmy Smith to before week two. He has Eric Moulds, Peerless Price, Hines Ward, Jimmy Smith, D'Wayne Bates, Joe Jurevicius. Which other WR could I throw in as a good possible #3 WR or backup? Edited to include other possibilities.

Hayes if the person will take him. However it may take giving up Donte since he's one of the players that's coming up in fantasy talk now. If it takes Donte to get Price then do it. Price is an legit starter and will get catches and Donte is the 3rd WR so if Saints play a good defense he could disappear. Actaully a package of Hayes and Donte would still be a good trade for you. No Patriots WR is going to get consistent good numbers because of how NE spreads the ball around to 7-10 receivers so you could grab another wR to replace Hayes. Hayes and Donte for Price would give you a great backup and good starter for two guys that will be inconsistent. There's no reason not to do that. I certainly wouldn't rule out that WR package you come up with. Would trading Keyshawn be a better option? I have thought about trading Keyshawn to get Price, but, I dunno... still thinking of all the possibilities.

I don't have cable. I have satellite (but, that wasn't what I was watching the games on) I have some of the local networks here on regular TV, the local NBC, CBS, FOX, etc and it does sound like some lame excuse, but, I'm assuming it was time constraints or some lame crap like that.

I thought it was 1990? 1989 was the season where they drafted Aikman, but struggled through that 1-15 season. The Cowboys then drafted Emmitt in 1990 and there's when the "dynasty" started. Oh ok, I must have had my stuff mixed up then, I had always thought it was 1990 where they went 1-15. LMAO@El Satanico That would not surprise me.

Nothing wrong with the Pats giving Faulk some playing time, just adds another weapon for Tom Brady to throw the ball to when he is out there. Plus, with Kansas City's inability to stop the pass, the Pats can easily burn them with the passing game. Brady has already burned two defense big time with his passing. If Brady performs the way he has been the past two weeks, it'll be a long day for the Chiefs to say the very least.

It's football, that alone is reason to watch, or at least in my opinion. Doesn't matter if it is the pros, or the college boys, the sake of watching the sport itself is good enough reason to watch. Then again, that's my opinion.

I'll give Moe a shot, shouldn't hurt too much, if it doesn't work, then I'll have to try and find something else. Also at WR, I have Owens, Keyshawn Johnson, I picked up Donte' Stallworth and Donald Hayes in place of Santana Moss and Marcus Robinson since they seem more likely to get more passes thrown their way, and I am considering trying to trade for Peerless Price, who would be best to trade for Price if I were to do this?
-
They don't do that anymore? That sucks. The game went until about 8:30, too. I never remember a day game going that late. They didn't do that this week. I was expecting to see the end of some game since there was a game or two still going on. After the Niners/Broncos game concluded then that was it, CBS went on to whatever else they were showing at that time. I'm assuming it was some "contractual" issue, because near the end of the early-game coverage, they quickly switched over to the start of the Niners/Broncos game and they said "contractual" reasons were why they did that.
-
Which game? Bills vs. Vikings was on CBS Oops my mistake. I assumed it was on FOX, sorry about that. FOX wasn't showing football in the afternoon here for some reason. And CBS didn't show the rest of the Bills/Vikings game after the Niners/Broncos game wrapped up, so, I didn't get to see the end of it.

Garcia's problem is finding a 'groove' so to speak, he looked sluggish in preseason and really hasn't been able to get it going so far this season. Once he gets going and finds that 'groove' and connect on more pass plays with Terrell Owens, then he should be able to put up the numbers that everyone expects from him. I wouldn't exactly say it is safe to call him a "bust" just yet, it's only the 2nd week of the season, that is way too early.
-
How'd you do in this case?
-
Actually, Anderson is a FB, or so he played in yesterday's game while Olandis Gary played RB. If not him, then perhaps Moe Williams from the Vikings? He might end up taking Michael Bennett's starting job from him, from what I heard he had more of an impact in the game than Bennett did...
-
I didn't get to see that game because FOX over here didn't show the late afternoon games for some weird-reason.

While your Bucs D scored a shut-out, Peerless Price came up huge for me today on one of my teams, him scoring two recieving TDs combined with almost 200 yards recieving. Helped me pull out to a nice lead over my opponent who has a pair of Eagles players left to play. (McNabb, Hugh Douglas) Edit: Also, on another team of mine, I have Michael Pittman and Emmitt Smith as my starting RBs, would dropping Mike Anderson in place of Emmitt be a smart move?
