I got a trade proposal in one of my leagues.. I'm being offered Peyton Manning for Terrell Owens. I have Daunte Culpepper and Drew Brees as my QBs and really don't need a third QB. If I deal off Owens, I would be stuck with this for my WR core. Keenan McCardell - WR Kevin Dyson - WR Peter Warrick - WR David Terrell - WR Should I take this trade or leave it?

Thursday Night: San Francisco vs. New York Giants - San Francisco Sunday: Green Bay vs. Atlanta - Green Bay Washington vs Arizona - Washington Carolina vs. Baltimore - Baltimore San Diego vs. Cincinnati - San Diego Indianapolis vs. Jacksonville - Jacksonville Philadelphia vs. Tennessee - Philadelphia Chicago vs. Minnesota - Chicago Buffalo vs. New York Jets - Buffalo Cleveland vs. Kansas City - Kansas City Miami vs. Detroit - Miami St. Louis vs. Denver - St. Louis Oakland vs. Seattle - Seattle Tampa Bay vs. New Orleans - Tampa Bay Dallas vs. Houston - Houston (upset special) Monday Night: New England vs. Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh
-
St Louis, Oakland, Miami and Tampa Bay are all overrated. These teams are expected to do well in the playoffs and come up short in the end, especially Miami and Tampa Bay.
-
Who would be best for replacing Emmitt? Those all sound like good choices, I'm looking for the one with the most upside.

I do know that DeShaun Foster is out there, I believe Portis is as well. A few RBs that are left: Michael Bennett Michael Pittman Fred Taylor Charlie Garner Tiki Barber Travis Henry Warrick Dunn James Stewart Thomas Jones DeShaun Foster Trung Canidate T.J. Duckett As for defenses: San Diego Seattle New Orleans Washington Carolina Tennessee Cincinnatti Kansas City Detroit Dallas Indianapolis Atlanta Buffalo Arizona Minnesota Houston

Here is another of my teams I would like you guys to leave some feedback on, I've had this one for a while and haven't asked for any feedback on it until now. It's in a six team league, lots of talent left out there too. Here is the way it is set up starter-wise. QB, QB, WR, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, TE, K, K, DEF, DEF And here is the team Jeff Garcia - QB Rich Gannon - QB Isaac Bruce - WR David Boston - WR Keenan McCardell - WR Eric Moulds - WR Priest Holmes - RB Stephen Davis - RB Wesley Walls - TE Freddie Jones - TE Martin Gramatica - K David Akers - K Baltimore - DEF New England - DEF Bench Tim Couch - QB Terry Glenn - WR Peter Warrick - WR Emmitt Smith - RB David Sloan - TE Kevan Barlow - RB

One other heel that was mentioned in this thread that comes to mind, Mike Martz.
-
Heels to me: Dallas Cowboys Oakland Raiders St Louis Rams Los Angeles Lakers MLB itself Notre Dame and that's about all I can think of at the moment

In one of my leagues, I dropped Joey Harrington in place of Quincy Carter, smart move, or stupid move? I dropped Harrington because McMahon is still the starter in Detroit, and I figure Quincy Carter would be a better choice for a backup.
-
I agree. Go with Gannon mostly because of the WRs he has to throw to. He has Jerry Rice as one of his WRs to throw to, you just can't go wrong with that, ditto for Tim Brown.
-
Thankfully I didn't draft him to any of my fantasy teams, so, I will not have this problem.
-
That is true, Portis still has to win the starting job, but, between he and T.J. Duckett, Portis seems the more likely of the two to be starting come week one. Or at least that's what I think. Either way, I'm in fairly good shape with my RBs at this point.
-
I dropped Duckett in favor of Clinton Portis, since Portis seems more likely than Duckett to be starting for his team in week one.

NCAA Football 2003 is built on the Madden engine, and College Football 2K3 is built on the 2K3 engine, at least on PS2 that is. I've already played NCAA Football 2003 and College Football 2K3 on PS2 and I have a good idea on how the game engines on Madden and NFL 2K3 will be like.

We can now add Terrell Davis to this list.
-
Interesting assessment. I know Anthony Thomas is clearly my #1 RB, I have established that. I'll probably put in either Dunn or Smith to fill the two spot, unless I can get a better trade for a more reliable #2 RB.
-
I agree with Vern, Terrell Davis is not a Hall of Famer. His career was cut a bit too short to warrant being a Hall of Famer. Had he avoided the injury-prone tag, he probably could have become a Hall of Famer, that is of course had his career not ended this year.
-
Feedback on this roster here? Also, I was offered a trade, Warrick Dunn for Fred Taylor, is this a good idea to take the risk of having Fred Taylor on the roster?
-
Nice team. What rounds did you pick up Harrison and Moss?
-
Yeah, the Jets did lose their corners to Houston. However, I disagree about San Francisco. They're a young and improving defense, given time they will be one of the better defenses in the league. This year they added another key piece to their defense in Mike Rumph. They have a few good vets on their defense as well in Stubblefield and Young, which provides true veteran leadership. It won't be too long before the 49ers defense becomes even better than what it is now IMO.
-
Good team offensively especially at RB. You have the best RB in the league in Marshall Faulk, and a good, durable RB in Curtis Martin, and a great runner up the middle in Warrick Dunn. You did a fairly good job with that.
-
Also, this roster here is my roster for my first ever fantasy football team. This is my first year in fantasy football. You guys think I've done alright so far with this team for a fantasy football 'rookie' so to speak?
-
I can understand that. But, what's done is done and you still managed to get a decent team out of what you got. If you can get a trade for Owens, it would be a great move on your part. Owens can put up the numbers, make the big plays, beat double coverage, all the stuff a great WR can do. Now that he has a new positive attitude and his problems with Steve Mariucci are patched up for now, things are looking even better for Terrell Owens IMO. Whoever gets Terrell Owens on their fantasy team has a great WR, I can say this since I have him on three of my teams.
-
Here is another team of mine: Daunte Culpepper - QB Terrell Owens - WR Keenan McCardell - WR Kevin Dyson - WR Anthony Thomas - RB Warrick Dunn - RB Frank Wycheck - TE David Akers - K Jevon Kearse - DL Bryant Young - DL Kevin Hardy DL Champ Bailey - DB The starting roster you see above is going to change at some point with possible trades and/or roster moves. Bench: Emmitt Smith - RB Drew Brees - QB Peter Warrick - WR David Terrell - WR TJ Duckett - RB Jamie Duncan - DL Julius Peppers - DL Dana Stubblefield - DL Aaron Glenn - DB
-
I could look into that, but what QB could I possibly get out of it?
